Great for scheduling posts and getting things live on time, plus the ability to preview each post before it goes live means you can make any last-minute tweaks to suit the social platform you're posting for. Has definitely saved me heaps of time in the past! Cons Only thing that would be nice to see would be the option to schedule link changes in link branches, such as LinkTree. For instance, if I've scheduled a post on Instagram, I have to remind myself to go back and update the links in the bio when the post referencing such links goes live. Review Source Jenn C. I used to be able to click on and download images but it seems there is much less of that now. I do like the marketing content but really need access to just images as well. Pros There is nothing so far that I can list that I like since I have not been able to figure out how to use it. Seems there needs to be a better help menu area or videos to help new users. Cons Mary Kay has required we use this resource for our digital content now yet I cannot figure out how it works. I have spent so much time on it. It effects my business as I cannot get the graphics I need for my social media. Not a fan. Sometimes i've made my research to see if some new site had more options, and the true its that i can't find other that provide me all the tools and the funtionality that Hootsuite has. Its very practice to use, very friendly CSR has a lot of free tools that will help you to organize your content and your socials media. Pros The free part has a lot of options and tools to be use for community managers or a communication team. You can schedual content in more than 1 social network, in fact you have a LOT of social networks avaliable for set the content of a week, month or year if you are very very planificate. At the same page you can have the mentions, private messages, your post and the schedual post, all un columns and divided by network. Its very very very useful when you work with so many social networks Cons Sufer the normla limitations that the original social network could have. For example, you can't schedual content for a instagram stories (but you can do it in feed post). And in Twitter you can't creat threads. I've aggregated all my social media networks in to one place, even on the free version. Where I cannot add another account (because it's the free version), I've used other software to automate inline with Hootsuite recommendations. This is an excellent product; I've seen immediate benefits and I'll be using it for years to come. Pros The ability to post to multiple social media accounts simultaneously, with auto-scheduled timings to suit the content and the audiences. Being able to see the scheduled posts on a calendar-like format then helps me go back in to tweak each post depending on the platform it is going to - perhaps to add a little more content to the Instagram version, while shrinking the content for the Twitter version. Monitoring streams on each of the social media platforms allows me to tailor my own content to suit the most popular channels of the day, reaching a larger audience and ultimately engaging with more people. Cons I'd like to have seen some analytics capability from the free version. I get that you shouldn't get everything for free but I need to know if there's value in me paying for something before I throw cash at the problem. Through Hootsuites can review, above all, the mentions made by users about our company and address them quickly. Pros Hootsuites is one of the web tools currently used by social network administrators, due to its potential to view content from several networks simultaneously. Pros: • Up to six social networks can be added for free, without paying anything. • Allows you to see several columns simultaneously. Either from the same social network or from different networks. • If you are using to manage a twitter account, for example, you can put in a column the mentions, in another column the timeline, in another column the programmed tweets, etc. • Up to 30 tweets per day can be programmed. • Messages can be programmed with several photos and videos. Cons • You can not add more than six accounts in the tool. To administer more accounts must be paid obligatorily. • The tool does not allow to see the TT of the moment. • Not being able to schedule more than 30 daily tweets can be negative because sometimes more daily messages are programmed. • Sometimes in the messages programmed instead of seeing the picture a link is seen. It's valuable for getting media and content from my mobile device into my overall workflow. Fabulous value for the price, and an absolute must-have for any social media manager. Pros Having all my social profiles in one place is extremely valuable and time-saving. Batching and scheduling a month's content or more in advance is a game-changer. Cons There are definitely some bugs in working between the mobile and desktop version. And autoschedule is only available on certain forms of the hootlet scheduling tool. The new composer is generally great and easy to use, but it does not have the autoschedule function, and you still have to go into the legacy composer to use certain browser extensions, specifically for saved text. It is definitely a one stop shop, where you can batch create content and schedule posts on different social media platforms. This is our favourite and most used feature. The Hootsuite app is also a fantastic and streamlined app that can directly schedule posts from your phone. Cons There are no opportunities for non profit organizations / charities to receive additional elevated features at minimal or zero cost. Most often such organizations cannot pay for such services out of pocket but desperately need them to ensure that they are able to spread the word of the work that their organization is doing. Pros I love the entire concept of being able to schedule out my social media posts in advance to save me time and sanity! It's a GREAT tool for users with multiple accounts and lots of content to share! Cons I HATE that the drafts are never where you can actually find them. I believe this is due to a system upgrade of the way drafts are saved on the platform, (switching from an old format to a newer one), but every time I initiate a post and save it as a draft, I can NEVER find where it's saved. Also, I detest that the Instagram integration won't allow me to post more than 1 image to Instagram. That basically makes this app unusable for posting to IG. Causes a big pain and interruption in my social media management when I have to set an alarm to remember to post my IG content b/c I can't post it through Hootsuite if it has more than 1 image file. I compared several social media scheduling software sites before choosing Hootsuite because it was the most cost effective. Most social media scheduling sites have plans in which more expensive plans allow you to connect more social media accounts. My organization at the time had many accounts to monitor (8+) and Hootsuite offered the best price for our needs. They also allow you to monitor feeds, messages, and content from all the connected accounts so you don't have to log into each account. Cons Every so often, you will need to reconnect your social media accounts to Hootsuite. Every few months or so, it loses the connection and requires you to log in again and give Hootsuite posting permissions. You have to monitor notification from Hootsuite closely in case this happens, as scheduled posts will not go out until you reconnect the accounts. With Hootsuite, all I have to do is upload my content and schedule. It will publish on all social media platforms at the right time. Which is getting good engagement. I also can see what people are talking about my brand on different kinds of social media platforms and if they have any questions I can solve them fast which is pretty cool. It is simple to create and curate posts across different social media channels and then schedule them to post all at once. No more logging into different social media accounts and posting individually for every single post. Posts centered around special holidays or special client events can be scheduled to post months in advance. This kind of advanced scheduling lets us easily establish a basic framework and outlook of posts for our client's social media accounts. Cons I wish Hootsuite had even more automated posting features, but this is more a limitation of the social media websites themselves and not a con with Hootsuite.
