November 29, 2018 5.0 I am able to stay on top of my business by being able to program ahead of time. It is a software I have been using for a very long time and can't imagine using another. Pros I love that I am able to program tweets to go out on twitter throughout the day and night, so that I don't have to worry. Pros As a marketing manager, I live in the social media world and posting is a daily task of mine. Hootsuite makes it easy for me to post across multiple channels as it integrates with just about all social networks. I no longer have to post on each individual site. That's a huge time saver! Cons It can get expensive if you want to add additional users. I don't like that you can't post at a specific time, rather it uses an algorithm. While I understand the need for such thing, I don't quite understand what their algorithm is. Review Source John H. Cons We boost our clients' Facebook posts, which makes Hootsuite a bit useless. If they could make a way to boost through Hootsuite, this app might be perfect. January 9, 2019 4.0 It makes it easier if you have a few clients and schedule the posts ahead, but it's not the best platform for that, so I quit using it. Pros I love that you don't have to post each day, but you have the ability to schedule everything in advance and it has almost all social media platforms needed, so it's practical and it can be free. Cons It doesn't have the option to upload a different image for each platform with the same text and to edit the post per platform, but rather you have to shedule a different post for each platform even if you have the same text, but different size of the image. It also failed a couple of times and didn't connect to the social media profile, so the post didn't go live. Review Source MH Martin H. Pros We have used Hootsuite for post management so we can create a timeline of posts. Hootsuite is fairly easy to use for us. Cons If I need to say anything that I did not like about Hootsuite it would be some of the navigation of the tool which could be cumbersome sometimes to reach certain areas. " May 10, 2018 5.0 Pros This toolbis amazing for managing multiple social media accounts and allows me to schedule posts for my massage business as well as my band a month in advance. Which allows me more time to focus on other factors of my business. Cons The only thing that takes some time is still having to log in and add the scheduled post via Instagram, but not a major issue. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are the big three and we control over 40 social accounts for our clients using HootSuite. It handles this work easily and saves us an incredible amount of time. Pros Hootsuite shines in its simplicity and execution of basic, common tasks. Getting started, adding new accounts, switching between them, and scheduling content (you know, all the things you're using it for) are designed with an intuitive UI and are quick and easy to get started. Cons Limitations in the number of social accounts which can be managed in the free / low end tiers is a little lower than some competitors, but the power of the software and the ease of use more than makes up for this. Customazing the dashboard is very useful. Competitor monitoring is a great function. Analysing and reports are customazible hence very useful. Publishing simultaneously is a big plus. Cons Social inbox can be more robust. I would love to see a social CRM option. Very useful for all community managers to manage all social networks from one place. Cons It is a bit difficult to learn at the beginning and it can be a little disappointing but with practice you will change your mind quickly. The price is a little high, especially when you want to add another member to the team. We are able to see at a glance our posting schedule, finding holes and identifying where we aren't making optimal use of our accounts. Only having to construct one post and have it post to multiple websites is such a blessing. Cons The mobile interface could definitely stand some improvements, and up until recently I would have said that the inability to publish automatically to Instagram was a fault, but happily that has since been updated! I can track conversations in real time, and the tool allows me to schedule posts, engage in conversation, and track analytics overtime in a more interesting and convenient way than the native social media platforms. Cons o me, the UI is a bit dated and clunky, and could use some cleaning up. If you are managing more than a handful of accounts, I could imagine it becoming overwhelming and difficult to navigate. It's really easy to directly post or schedule posts using Hootsuite. Pros It has made social media posting easy, quick and automatic. Second thing that I personally like the most about hootsuite is that I can schedule posts. Even if I am on leave, hootsuite completes my social media tasks on time. Cons As such there is nothing that I dislike about hootsuite but one thing that I would consider as a disadvantage is that I can add only 3 Social Media accounts in the free version of hootsuite. May 23, 2018 5.0 Hootsuite is absolutely critical if you hope to effectively leverage social media for your company / personal brand. Pros Hootsuite allows you to plan ahead and reap the well deserved time off of social media. If you have a goal to make revenue through social media this is a must. Additionally, if you want to find customers through social media, Hootsuite allows you to schedule all your posts so you can focus on interacted with future clients. Cons Until you are making money or finding clients through social media, the concept of paying for post automation will seem funny. There is a free version that is limited to only a few social media accounts (3 if I remember right), but I guess this con is just your fear that you won't receive a return on your investment.
