I am not able to afford the high priced additional features. Pros The ability to schedule your social media output from 1 location. Cons The inability to use more than 3 accounts with more than 1 user for free. I haven't had enough experience with this type of software to know if it is top of the list or not. My favorite part is that I can post on Instagram from my computer. Cons I only have about 6 or so social media posts a month now so for the price it's a little expensive. June 9, 2018 4.0 Pros I like that HootSuite has categories to choose from of how big your company is, which kind of translates into which services they offer you. It's nice because it's a little more personalized for each individual business, instead of doing one solution for all different purposes. Cons I do think HootSuite could be more affordable, but other than that, it's a great program to use. Pros The idea of hootsuite is appealing - being able to manage all social media networks from one place. You can manage content and schedule posts in differents apps at the differents time Cons Is not free, you have to pay to use Hootsuite full mood. I feel like it is a good idea, but it just didn't work well for us, and we eventually decided to go back to the "old fashioned way" of posting on each site individually. Pros The idea that you can schedule one single post and have it upload simultaneously to multiple social media sites is brilliant. I would of loved to set posting specific schedules and customize what my page puts out even more Reason for choosing Hootsuite The ease of use and learning curve were much better. It allowed me to keep managing my pages and have a more time organized day for other priorities. Pros I love that I can make scheduled social media posts ahead of time. It is a great tool if you manage one or multiple social media outlets that need daily attention and want to gain and keep traffic to your page. Ultimately we hated it and I would not recommend at least the free version if you would like to be able to post videos, schedule, or have multiple people work on the same account. Pros Initially Hootsuite was fine, it was nice to be able to schedule posts out and see what the week looked like. Cons We had to stop using Hootsuite, eventually before we started using Facebook Business Suite we switched to just posting manually and not scheduling anything because it was so awful. We had issues every time we tried to post a video, Instagram posts would almost always give us issues, and it was hard to edit a post that was already scheduled. Would like the auto post scheduler even more if it gave me greater control over when my auto-scheduled posts are sent out. Cons What I like least about this software is not so much the software itself as it is the hurdles social networks force on Hootsuite app users. The inability to schedule posts to Instagram for example is frustrating.
