This makes it very easy to stay on top of everything! Cons The interface is good, not great. I would like to see more analytics tied to various social platforms, but this is a good start. The layout is a little frustrating and I am still looking for a company that can meet my needs better: scheduling, insight, reporting, and a healthy amount of 'profiles' for low costs. Pros Cheaper and easier than a lot of companies out there. They really hit the 'middle' price point. Many companies offer cheaper services and offer very little, and then you have a huge jump to companies that offer everything but are unaffordable for the smaller guy. I offer reporting complimentary right now to my customers, and Hootsuite offers me a nice number of 'profiles' for the money. The interface is a little difficult to get used to, but the reporting is nice. Cons The reporting...is great but is gets costly! Unless you are at a certain account level, the reporting isn't priced friendly. The cost is very inexpensive and is an essential service for us. Highly recommended for any Social Media manager. Pros This software solved a problem for me as the administrator of our social marketing initiatives. As a firm of a dozen partners, every time we updated our website or published an article, a considerable amount of time was spent logging into 12 individual LinkedIn accounts and publishing the item to their profile. Hootsuite saves me hours of time each month, allowing me to publish one item to multiple accounts. Cons Perhaps not their fault at all, security concerns require me to continually reenter the users LinkedIn passwords to re-initiate the connection between Hootsuite and LinkedIn. To their credit, Hootsuite alerts me each time, telling me who needs to be reconfigured. This is a time-suck, but not such a big deal! Review Source BW Brandon W. Pros You can schedule social media posts in bulk, monitor different feeds simultaneously, and get a birds-eye view of your accounts at a glance. I like that you can schedule posts as that frees up time to focus on other business aspects. I am able to schedule posts on multiple social media platforms in one quick location. Pros There are a lot of pros for Hootsuite. First, the software is free to use under certain parameters that may organization met. I was able to plan ahead and schedule all of our social media posts for 30 days out, which allowed me to be stress free about our social media marketing. Cons There was difficulty to understand how to follow certain subjects. I was not sure how to set up or if there is a function that would allow for reposting of posts from other locations, so I still had to spend more time than I wanted on social media. They do have plug-ins. You definitely want to work over a Wi-Fi network. Overall it makes managing your presence on social media easy and brings it all together for you in one place. Pros An excellent platform for multiple users and a canon of social media. All in one place. Dashboard is stellar. That allows for you to work with conversations and posting scheduling, drafting, posting promos, all in one place. The review I read that last inspired me sad reliable and easy. I agree. Cons Eileen more heavily into Google analytics when it comes to understanding more in depth insights. Overall this is my favorite, and that’s really all I have to say as far as the con goes. It allows you to schedule posts on multiple social media platforms so it saves the time of you doing it manually, especially if your organizations have a lot of accounts. Points for productivity! Cons The design could use a little work. Hootsuite used to own the market, now there's so many more program that has better design! There's several error/fail to schedule, thus we keep have to check to see if our posts are up-- defeating the points of a calendar-- for us to schedule without the need to look back and worry.
