I can handle more than 100 Social Media Channels because of Hootsuites. Pros It's very useful when it comes to social media management. It saves your time posting in your social media channels you can manage your posting in advance. Cons Sometimes, there are contents that having an error posting in the scheduler feature. They seem to mostly work with the big name socials, not others like tik tok or slack. Pros I love the Publisher feature of this app. I used to schedule future posts on Facebook prior to using Hootsuite, but now I am better able to keep track of when each post was or is schedule to be published. Pros Hootsuite has a lot of different features depending on what you want to use it for. I have mostly used it for scheduling social media posts and tracking streams on social media. The ability to track hashtags or topics through Hootsuite is fun and also very useful and one of the features I appreciate when I switch back to Hootsuite from Buffer, since I tend to go back and forth between the two. Like Buffer Hootsuite also has analytics, and Hootsuite also offers a variety of reports, which I did not notice being a part of Buffer. If you use their custom link shortener you can also track the popularity of various links through Hootsuite. In fact there are a lot of other features available in Hootsuite that I have not yet taken advantage of but which intrigue me, such as the ability to build contests and integrate other apps. Cons Personally I think the interface of Hootsuite is very easy to use, however it is not quite as streamlined and intuitive as Buffer. Moving from Buffer to Hootsuite the latter looks a little visually crowded, however I think that is mostly because of the additional features within Hootsuite. As a pure scheduling tool Buffer might be more user friendly. Review Source ML Michal L. The ability to schedule social media posts, for no additional charge, is awesome. The UI is not bad, but could be a little more intuitive. However, I did learn to use it quite easily. I found when scheduling posts for Twitter and other channels, if the post had too many characters, it would be cut off on Facebook. Hootsuite also did not play well with LinkedIn. I was never able to get scheduled posts to appear on our LinkedIn company page. Still, the free version of Hootsuite is quite usable and useful. I would definitely recommend trying it out, and considering using the better, paid version. Pros Pricing (free), ability to schedule social media posts on multiple channels at one time Cons Could not get Hootsuite to post correctly to both a personal and company page on LinkedIn. I love the option of being able to schedule different posts and have them show up when I want. its also awesome be able to post them on all of the different sites Cons I haven't ran into any issues really with the software yet. So far it has worked how I wanted it to and that is great! February 14, 2020 5.0 Once I learned how to use it, I saved a lot of time on my posts. I can make up a months worth of work in just a couple of hours. Pros I like that I can set up weeks of posts in advance. I like that I can copy posts and use them over and over again. I also like that they give you free pictures to use for your posts. Cons I did not like how they kept raising the price for it. It went from about $250 to $350 in just one year. That was a surprise to me. May 25, 2019 4.0 Instead of going to each site like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn, I just use Hootsuite to post to all of them at once, or to just one if I want. Super easy and a total time saver! Pros I love how easy it to schedule my social media posts using Hootsuite! You just load in the images/videos, put in your text, select which sites to post to, and set the date/time to post it. All in one convenient place. Pros The best capabilities that Hootsuite provides is the ability to schedule out social media postings for several platforms so you can build your social marketing calendar far in advance. Cons The freemium version used to be a great entry point, however, the pricing has increased quite a bit since I first began using it.
