Instead of rushing around last minute to post at the perfect time of day we can plan in advance and spend a morning sorting all the posts out for the week. Pros Hootsuite means that I can plan my social media posts in advance, schedule posts so they go out and I don't forget, and plan around big events and notable occasions. Cons The free functionality is extremely limited and there could be better trial functions to fully explore the software to know if it is worth buying. " April 24, 2018 5.0 Pros I was responsible for posting on Facebook and Twitter for 3 different accounts - so Hootsuite was necessary to keep everything organized and the best part was being able to do everything from one place - I didn't have to log in and out of the accounts every time I wanted to post something. Pros I love how much time this software saves. Being able to schedule posts in advance across multiple platforms is very valuable. I also like that if your content is the same, you can create one "post" and select multiple accounts for it to post to all at the same time (versus having to schedule separate posts). Cons I often run into issues with scheduling photos/posts on Instagram. Sometimes they don't seem to connect all that easily (or stay connected). I also wish there was a way to figure out what email address is associated with an account that already has a Facebook account linked to it. We might start working with a new organization and they didn't know someone had previously set them up with an account and we aren't able to find the login information. Review Source ali A. I can see at a glance what I have scheduled for each account, what I have posted (from all sources) to that account, as well as my home feed for each account. Cons Although it's not Hootsuite's fault, I don't find it useful for Facebook. Facebook doesn't show business posts to very many of a pages followers to begin, with but they show a post to even fewer people when it's posted through a third party like Hootsuite. Now I do things in a smart way and my clients and followers see my posts daily. So it wouldn't be wrong to say that it has helped me a lot in keeping my online presence. Pros Social media posts can be scheduled effortlessly. It allows me to manage multiple accounts and keep my social media presence all the time. I usually keep busy with other stuff and don't get time to post regularly on my social media pages. However, I'm not facing this problem since I started using Hootsuite which takes care of all of my social media. Cons So far it has not given me trouble so why should say anything negative? All your streams are on the same page, it is very easy. Cons Setting up new tabs can be clunky, and isn't as easy as setting up directly on the original social media site.
