Pros I liked that I could post to Facebook and Twitter simultaneously. Hootsuite was also an innovator in post scheduling. It helped me pace my posts without being online all the time so that I could keep my audiences engaged. Cons It would be nice if it could support more platforms. At the moment I still find it a bit limited. However, it covers the most important bases. It's also a great way to monitor social media comments, likes, mentions, etc. Cons I think the layout could be better so you don't have to scroll horizontally. Pros We use this as a team for our various social media accounts (we manage 20+ across 3 team members). Hootsuite helps us schedule out into the future, save content for collaboration, and make sure everything is scheduled and posted as planned. Cons We run into errors sometimes (recently with posting video to Instagram), and we do a lot of carousel posts which requires an extra step when posting to Instagram. I used it to schedule posts for certain times each day, week, etc. This made it easy to manage all from one place and made making a social media plan/strategy a breeze. Pros The best feature I found was having to post items on multiple social media platforms at the same time. Time of posting can easily be scheduled so your audience don't miss out on new updates. There's also advice on how to get better use from social media platforms. Hootsuite has saved me so much time because I can schedule all of my posts for the week in advance. This will definitely increase your efficiency especially if you work with multiple customers. Cons The interface is a bit outdated and confusing for new users. It takes time to fully understand how to use the tool. Cons Tagging other social media accounts is horrible in Hootsuite across Facebook and Instagram. You will spend time looking up profile names for them to not actually link once posted. Cons When I hover over certain areas, multiple drop-down menus will appear and it's very distracting when I have to hover away for them to leave. I would prefer a click for a drop down and not a hover drop down.
