I am an admin, so I help set up our Hootsuite account, so easy is great. Cons Sorta pricy for what you get, but it does work great. Customer service could be a better, but that's an industry wide issue. Pros It is a necessary tool. If I didn't have Hootsuite, I don't know how I would manage all of our various channels. It cuts down time and helps me plan ahead! Cons I hate how tagging works in Hootsuite. It is such a pain because I don't know if it actually worked. Then I have a post go out with incorrect or inactive tags and I look a mess. Hootsuite has been around for some time and its great for scheduling social media posts via facebook, instagram, twitter and many others. You can set up the system to auto post and it really saves you time. I just do all my social media posts on Sunday and forget about it. Very helpful! Cons We had issues with Facebook pictures quality uploads. the free account is very low with features and the enterprise solution is very expensive. There's nothing wrong with Hootsuite at all, and in fact, they have a lot of value (e.g. webinars and the like to learn more about social management). However, I think it just wasn't the right tool for my little one person business. Pros Hootsuite enabled me to plan and schedule social media content for multiple social platforms in one place. This was a huge time and energy saver. Cons I ultimately left Hootsuite for Loomly because I just wasn't enthused by the Hootsuite interface. Additionally, I was craving a platform that told me trends and suggestions for various social platforms IN the post builder, while I'm writing content (sometimes I need some inspiration). Our business just doesn't need it. Still a great application, though! Pros Simply put, automating your social media posts is a good thing when you have a lot going on in a day/week/month. March 30, 2021 4.0 Overall, hootsuite is a great tool. I was not apart of the selection process but I would recommend and stand by it's continued use. There are things to implement to make the site more user-friendly and accessible to help/support from the company. Pros I like that we are able to schedule fro multiple platforms and multiples sites. (i.e: twitter, FB, etc.) You can post the same message to all the sites at the same time which makes it a breeze and you don't have to copy and paste each time. Also, the display and calendar make it easy to see whats on the agenda to be scheduled. Cons Sometimes hootsuite can glitch and kick you off the site, it doesn't always save your work, and saved items/ items to be posted have been to know to go missing. Very easy to use and review. Also great to monitor our social streams. Pros I like how easy this software makes it to schedule content. I am able to see all of my posts in order and it is very apparent is I accidentally skipped a day. Cons Nothing! It is really easy to use. I do not mind anything that the software provides. Pros I used Hootsuite at my very first job out of college and it really helped my social media management skills. You’re able to schedule your posts on many social media platforms well in advanced which saves you a great amount of time. Additionally, you can track your posts after the fact which helps engagement tracking. Pros Hootsuite is one of the big players in organic social media. They have all the needed integrations and relatively cheap if you are just starting out. You can easily switch between personal and business accounts and see much more details than you can when using Twitter directly. " September 11, 2019 5.0 Overall Hootsuite has been a huge help and timesaver! Pros I have numerous social media accounts that I have to post to daily. Hootsuite makes scheduling my posts in advance easier than ever. AND I can post on multiple platforms all at once. Cons I think that it's a bit pricey and would like to see better reporting options. Also, a combined inbox that shows all of our comments from all of our profiles and the capability to reply right from there.
