Pros It is a perfect tool to perform analysis of each of our social networks and thus know what is the behavior of our followers. It also generates reports that provide detailed information on what we can do to increase our exposure in each of the social networks. Cons There are not many things that I can criticize about Hootsuite, but it would be good to constantly make updates to your Android app that sometimes does not work as it should. It makes life so much easier because we can work on it for a week and schedule multiple posts at once, and then be done and not think about it again. It also shows your linked social media platforms and their timelines, scheduled posts, and current posts all on one dashboard. Love it! Cons It took us forever to get Instagram hooked up so that we didn't have to approve each post daily from our phones even though they were scheduled, so that was a little hard to figure out at first. April 15, 2019 5.0 Pros I've used Hootsuite for some of my smaller online brands in the past. The features were nice and what I was looking for most was the ability to prepare and schedule posts in advance. Hootsuite offered this for Facebook and I believe Twitter at the time, but not Instagram. We used it for awhile and it met our needs for a bit. Cons Social media platforms began to offer their own ability to schedule posts, or Hootsuite just never offered that ability in the first place (instagram.) And so, over time, as we had to think about the features and functions we were receiving, and comparing that to the price we were paying, eventually it just seemed hard to justify and we began posting everything manually or through the native app. Review Source DJ Doug J. Myself and the other intern were able to work collaboratively in Hootsuite's workspace and efficiently manage our university's social media pages. Pros The ability to manage multiple social media accounts at once is a major time-saver! The dashboard made it very easy to monitor activity on each without needing to go to each individual website.
