My overall experience is Excellent! iGrade is a time saver and the most user friendly teaching tool I use. I highly recommend it!!

Pros

iGrade is the most user friendly site I use as a 4th grade teacher— it has saved me so much time, time that I can now use to lesson plan. Thank you!

Cons

The thing I like least is how it will default to the previous grading period when I am putting in New Assignments.

I enjoy the product and find it helpful. I have recommended to others and will continue to use it next year.

Pros

It is easy to use and quick. It keeps track of all assessments. I can separate out each of my subjects.

Cons

At first it was a learning curve to find the different sections but once I used it more it was better.

The timely responses, ease of use, and common-sense recording make iGradePlus stand out from other software. The price is a huge plus for our small but growing school!

Pros

iGradePlus is easy to use and has many more features that our school is not even ready to use yet. The export features makes it easy to use your data how you want to. Also, customer service is fantastic.

Cons

There is no built-in or customizable report options for things like report cards. If this were added, iGradePlus would be next-level.

### "Everything a Teacher Needs"

Overall my experience was fantastic and I intend to continue using this product. It was incredibly helpful to me as a first year teacher.

Pros

It had every feature I needed, and several that I didn’t know I needed but used frequently. It was intuitive, straightforward, visually easy to read, and clear. It’s amazing that the service is free.

Cons

On occasion the server was laggy or wouldn’t save a change I had made. It also took me a minute to realize what data/info would show up under what tabs and how to ensure I saved assignments I created before moving to a different tab.

Printing a report card, wish it would be easier to get it to print a simple report card of the grades

We've been using this for 3 or 4 years, and overall it works for our institution. It's the perfect way to do what we need to do.

Pros

As a user, I find I grade fairly easy to input notes, and there is a range of options for not just present and absent, but the whole range.

Cons

I wouldn't mind getting sent some training about how to use it more fully. Otherwise, I can't think of anything that I dislike about it.

Pros

iGradePlus allowed me to put in grades with ease. I was able to transfer the grade to the general education teachers.

Cons

There is nothing that I did not like about iGradePlus. iGradePlus has everything that I need and appreciate.

Pros

User friendly interface. Easy to jump right into using without much extra training. Customer support and troubleshooting is quick and very helpful.

Cons

Site goes down at random times during the day but not very frequently. Some features are currently not available.

My overall experience with high grade plus is good. I absolutely love it and recommended to all my colleagues.

Pros

Parents can access it and so can students. Can also communicate through the platform. It is easy to use and not too overwhelming.

Cons

I wish I could print it, but it doesn’t work on my computer. I have a Mac. I also would like to be able to change the order of grades once I have put them in so that they show in the correct order.

I've been using the program for six years and have always had a great experience. I've never had a single problem which is unheard of. I just finished my quarter 4 report cards for the year and told my friends how grateful I am for iGrade Plus!

Pros

I love everything about iGrade Plus! It takes care of everything I need - daily grades to end of year grades. The best part is I don't have to spend my hard-earned money on it. Teachers spend so much of our personal money to keep our classrooms running. I'm so grateful to have such a dependable program that's free.

Cons

The only improvement I can suggest is that I wish I could copy my classes from one gradebook to another.

Great place to keep track of grades and attendance for a large coop. Parents love the app to quickly check grades.

Pros

I enjoy how it keeps track of grades and assignments. I also enjoy the docs and links feature to share items with my students.

Cons

Parent and student communication can be difficult but this may be an enforcement issue on the schools part. I wish their were better tutorials on how to use the more advanced features and a way for students to turn in assignment via google docs, like uploading a link to an assignment and not just a pdf.

I have found iGrade to be a truly wonderful platform. They are constantly developing and adding great features.

Pros

I like how easy, organized, and user-friendly it is. It’s very easy to navigate having little to no experience with the platform.

Cons

There isn’t much not to like. Occasionally I suggest features that would help create a more efficient experience. They always accept the feedback!

I have used iGrade for years. I love the fact that I can continue to use it and it's web-based. Since it is web-based it travels with me.

Pros

Being able to run reports on a daily basis and I can add students at anytime. I can differentiate summative from formative assignments and add a different value to them.

Cons

I don’t like the fact that you cannot speak to some directly. It would be nice to have a chat option available.

It really helps out when it comes to the students keeping track of their grades and attendance. I can communicate on the timeline. I like that the students can put the app on their phones.

Pros

The platform abilities to do the attendance and calculate/document grades. Keep track of my students academically and more.

Cons

Does not really give me a lot when it comes to doing the transcripts and giving an overall GPA. No certain way to track by hours.

It was very easy to enter grades and being able to assign them to multiple students! I love this platform and how it is free!

Pros

The flexibility of weighting grades and being able to customize assignment titles. Also, I was able to assign many categories besides the preset ones.

Cons

Not being able to differentiate classes in different semesters. This caused some issues on the transcript but overall was great!

Not bad but not yet Amazing. I’ve had technical difficulty a few times and it doesn’t work very well on a mobile device

Pros

The ability to leave comments and add late marks beside grades is amazing. I love that you can narrow down searches by category

Cons

Not being able to enter same grades into two different subject fields is frustrating. It would be nice to have an easy way to print grades by student

Website is very user friendly and easy to navigate. I like how you can view individual students or the entire class at once.

Cons

Website sometimes lags but overall it’s not bad. It would be easier when grading late assignments to just view the one student when looking at their profile vs going into the entire grade book

iGradePlus has been exactly what I was looking for in finding a gradebook program. I needed something that was all-in-one.

Pros

I like how thorough the categories are. I have found everything I need for my grading, and I don't need to use any other programs.

Cons

There is lots of clicking - a lot of choices means a lot to adjust when adding grades. I have figured out what I can leave blank, but it took some time to learn.

Pros

I love how I can keep up with my grades for each grade level. I also love how my student parents can log in and see the grades as well.

Cons

I don’t like how its hard to remove student who drop. I would like to see the system remove them without deleting the data.

I am overall satisfied with what they offered. And, plus, there is a free version for the individual teacher. That is very helpful.

Pros

I like how the team is working flexibly with the school's needs. My school had a video conference with the iGradePlus team. They showed how they cared for their customers, trying as much as they could. Appreciated!

Cons

Well report card generator function is quite complicated to perform. I found some difficult to do it. Hope they make it user-friendly.

Pros

It’s an all in one - attendance, grades and student contact - product. The bulletin board function is nice too

Cons

It often gets “bogged down” during our finals weeks (every 8 weeks) when all instructors and students are in it at the same time.

Pros

Reports that can be ran in a jiffy. It’s so convenient. I like to also be able to tell my failures when I log in.

Cons

Nothing- all of it is great and convenient. No problems and limited issues because they work on upgrades at night.

Overall, I enjoy it and I plan to continue to use it. I wish it was a little easier to navigate. If I had time to play around with it more, I might find an easier way, but I do not have the time.

Pros

I like that it does the math for my grades and they are running. I like the ease of imputing students and assignments.

Cons

It is very difficult to navigate to different things, such as finding the students grades once they are in, and navigating to a specific student.

Responds quickly to questions and to request to change to % scale instead of having the total value scale the item within a category.

Pros

After set up, easy to use. Like being able to store image of completed quizzes etc. and organize by student.

Cons

Would like to be able to weigh individual items within category. Want to change to % value instead of weighting based on total value. Want to be able to use for proficiency scales or with rubric marking also.

Chalk got bought out. Pivot to LMS focus and no longer supports the Markboard functions. A shame, it was the most robust and easiest to use for multiple means of assessment. Loved their ability to marks as rubric and to print out reports to students.
