cosign pro makes consignment an easy breezy thing of modern bliss. What was once a daunting bookkeeping tracking task, has become incredibly easy to not just handle, and manage, but to master.

From day one, they have been so helpful and easy to work with. Best professional purchase I have made for my business!

Pros

I am not a computer person, so for me to say this is easy to use says a lot! It has all the features you could ask for, and then some. They literally thought of everything. I am beyond pleased with the product and service. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team are always there to answer and questions. SO IMPRESSED AND WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER. I recommend them to everyone I meet in my field.

ConsignPro has been an absolute lifesaver for my consignment shop. It’s straightforward, reliable, and does exactly what I need it to do — track inventory, manage consignors, run the register, and generate the reports I actually use — without any complicated bells and whistles getting in the way. The learning curve was basically non-existent, and the support team has been responsive every time I’ve reached out. Sure, the interface looks a bit dated and the reporting could be a little more modern and flexible, but those are small things compared to how much time and headache it saves me every single day. I’ve tried a couple other systems before and this one just works consistently. I’d confidently recommend ConsignPro to any consignment or resale store owner who wants software that gets the job done without the frustration.

Pros

What I liked most is how incredibly user-friendly and intuitive ConsignPro is. I’m not super tech-savvy, but I was up and running with inventory, consignor tracking, point-of-sale, and reports very quickly. It handles everything a consignment shop needs without feeling overwhelming. The customer support is also excellent — they respond fast and actually help you solve problems instead of just pointing to a manual. It’s reliable, accurate, and has saved me a ton of time every single day

Cons

The only thing I’d change is that the reporting tools feel a little outdated compared to some newer cloud-based programs. The interface works great but looks a bit old-school, and customizing certain reports or tags sometimes requires extra steps or a quick call to support. It’s not a deal-breaker at all — it still does the job really well — but a fresher look and more flexible reporting would make it perfect

Using consignor pro personally for 2 years i found it to be just adequate for a small store like what we have. if all you need is one computer to make sales and do inventory it is pretty good. If you are like me and enjoy smart integration this is the furthest thing from it. They charge money per computer then again if you want those computers to talk to each other per computer. Something that is very easy to do with a little networking knowledge. Customer support is irritated and condescending from the start. they clearly don't want to help. It has a lot of technically problems and quirks. I have fixed/ worked around most of them. At least once a week i have to fix something stupid for my employees. Most the times they cause it but what they did shouldn't have caused a problem to begin with. The tag printer especially has so many problems. Anything you can think of it has done it at random. Print two of the same tag. not print, only print the bottom half of the tag, Spit out a tag with nothing on it instead of print it, only print when facing downward. And then it will work fine right after any of those. I have cleaned it. it changed nothing. I only add this part because it came from them in the bundle we got and i'm not enter sure the problem is from the printer its self. i could go on forever about all the problems that consignor pro has but i put in the biggest ones i can think of quickly for the cons section. I also reached the limit of words in the cons section.

Pros

As much as i complain about this software its not all bad. It does get the job done and not that badly. When i run into a problem or setting that needs to be changed it often has at least one setting that helps. more then i often expect it too. it has enough ways to check on your employees and see whats happened that day assuming they don't know the security exploit i talked about. -If you are planning on being the only worker in your store and don't like a lot of overwhelming features or mouthy charges this is pretty great option. Its self explanatory and easy to use once you figure out how to get around all the bugs. If not for all the bugs i would say it is would be good for those who are bad with tech but you'll spend more time fixing it then using it when you first get it and tech support is a mouthy subscription don't want to help. They do pick up fast though.

Cons

\-You can view admin restricted information in its program files. Such as find and edit account log in/out and deletion logs. they are stored in plane text files. This would make it very easy to lie and steal as an employee. Such as: log in 10 minutes late but edit it to say you were on time or add money to an account; cash it out when delete the logs of both happening. This would keep the till accurate at the end of the day while also leaving no log of who did it or that it happened. I had an employee doing this and only found out do to our camera system. -The software feels and looks like its from the 2000s. Its also inconstant making teaching new employees harder. Such as: when ringing up an item to sale. -Putting in 1 it would price it at 1$. Makes sense, but when you are adding new items into inventory putting in 1 prices it at .01$ but finishing the item without leaving the pricing box would make it a 1$ So to make it 1$ you have to type in 100. leave the pricing box by pressing tab then finish the item. This makes it easy to accidentally price an item at 100$ that supposed to be 1$ If you leave the pricing box blank and trying to do anything else it pops up saying you have to enter a number first. Slowing you down. if you put in 1.99 it freaks out and puts something like .03 in instead. Don't know why. O and if you enter anything that is not a number the software just crashes and doesn't enter the item. it completely closes and saves nothing that was changed.

There are many security features built-into ConsignPro including employee permissions, an owners "suspicion" log file, and employee logging - all tools that only the owner has access to. We've recently moved all log files into the database file itself making them less susceptible to exploit by dishonest employees. While no program is impervious to dishonest employees, ConsignPro is as close as it gets.

Profit and payment information is easily accessed. Inventory is accurate and consignors have information that is transparent and available 24/7.

Pros

When I contacted \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] at ConsignPro 7 years ago for the free trial, she was so welcoming and supportive. The trial went well and we purchased the whole set-up for our new furniture consignment business. We had minimal-to-no transition problems and was able to start from day one with sales. Anytime I've had carrier updates that caused a problem, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were always there and fixed the issues immediately. They are awesome! ConsignPro is user friendly, I have 2 senior women working for me and they can manage the software with minimal training. I would recommend any consignment store spend the money to install as you ultimately save money and can leave the store at the end of the day when everyone else does!

Cons

Frequent updates are annoying but a necessary evil.

I enjoyed using this software but wish I was able to get the training provided in an less expensive way to I could fully use all of it's capabilities.

Pros

The reporting capabilities of this software are very helpful in running a business. The developed is always adding new features that the community is asking for.

Cons

The training for the software was provided at an out of county location during an all inclusive expensive vacation. No other training was provided for those who did not want to go on the all inclusive vacation.

Overall, I'm a very satisfied customer and really recommend Consing-Pro to any resale shops.

Pros

I love using Consign-Pro for my resale shop. It's super user-friendly and so easy to teach new employees. The staff, especially \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is always accessible and can fix literally anything on my software or my computer!

Cons

It would be great if when there's an update to our system, Consign-Pro would let its customers know rather than having to find out on our own just by chance.

He is very prompt when we have computers that need additional software because of hardware difficulties.

A very good company that respects their customers and a great response time on helping if you do have questions. You feel valued as one of their customers so you can help your customers!

Pros

I purchased an existing clothing consignment business that had the Consign Pro program. The ease of learning and using the program was very user friendly. The accuracy of keeping track of sales for each customer was great. Whenever I did have a small problem the Consign Pro team was always helpful and knowledge and easy to get ahold of. I highly suggest getting their support add on program, it will pay for itself after just one time. I highly recommend this program for anyone in the consignment world!

Cons

The only thing I had a little trouble figuring out at first was how to get into a specialized report if someone wanted a certain date or end of year for taxes but once the team explained it was easy. Read your manual that comes with the program and it explains things really well.

The program is fine for the most part for in-store functionality (checking out customers, tagging and reporting) but does have a major flaw. It would be beneficial to have data stored in a web-based system so real-time information could be accessed not only from the store but also from a home computer. Tagging also could be done at home while the store is open if it was a web based system. As an owner who often has an employee working at the store, not having real-time access to the database from home is extremely limiting. In summary, it works fine for daily in-store functions but needs to move to a web base system so work can be done in real-time from locations away from the store. Customer service is very responsive.

It's not a major flaw that ConsignPro is not cloud-based, it's by design. All orders come with a free home copy so you can work from home when the store is closed. ConsignPro also has the option to text or email you the sales numbers everyday if you're not at the store. You can also use a remote desktop software to access your store computer at anytime in real time. Our support team can help you with any of these features. We will offer a cloud based option in 2017 and all customers will have an opportunity to upgrade at that time.

When we first began using ConsignPro the features were exactly what we needed. As time has gone on and updates have been made, some features have been lost and some added, both to the improvement and detriment of ease of use. As our business has grown, we could use additional features, but have not found a program as easy to use as this. In the long run, however, this is an efficient software for small consignment businesses.

Pros

Easy to add inventory and keep track of consignors items.

Cons

Cannot delete an item without deleting entire sale, cannot save sales as we once were able to, not compatible with any other processor but theirs and no online accessibility for clients. Also, the wishlist feature is pretty much useless. On the inventory lookup, you must be too specific to find the actual item. Also, the types have been pre-selected and you cannot change them manually...

I really cannot run my business without this. It keeps everything in its place and organized. I do not have one negative thing to say about consign pro. I love, love, love this software. I have seen others and this is in my opinion the best and easiest out there. Some folks are not computer savvy, well you don't have to be to it really easy to use. They will walk you thru anything you do not understand.

Pros

The Software is very user friendly. Even a child can use this product. When I say a child can use this I don't mean that it is not a powerful tool for your business. It keeps track of all my consigners, we have over 4 thousand active consigners. Without this tool this would be a lot of paperwork to keep track of. The best tool we own this is defiantly the hub of our shop. The support Is super fast, I have talked with on the customer rep whenever I have a problem, which is not often most problems are due to a storm or just human error. They are always available on the spot to get me up and running.

ConsignPro offers excellent customer service and communication with their customers. I have also not gotten good reviews from my consigners on the use of www.myresaleweb.

Pros

This product is easy to use and does MOST of what we need.

Cons

I need a software that is cloud based. It is too time consuming to have to be in the different locations to get the information that is needed at any given time. I would like to the two locations to be connected. We offer direct deposit to our consigners and having to manually had the payouts into their account activity is also time consuming. It also does not offer all of the types of reports I need, which again, forces me to fill in a lot of spreadsheets manually to get the information I need.

### "ConsignPro Has Become One of "My Favorite Things""

Right before I opened my consignment shop called "My Favorite Things" back in October of 2013, I did some research on computer software for my business. I found that ConsignPro was leaps and bounds ahead of every other kind that's out there on the market. When I checked into the pricing, I went back and forth, in my head, between the expense of the software vs. the alternative, doing all paperwork by hand. I came to the conclusion that I would probably have to put in an extra 10 to 15 hours per week in the store, if I didn't get it, plus I thought about the many possibilities of human error. I chose to buy it, in the end. Now that my store has been open over 3 years, and I see everything ConsignPro does for me on a daily basis, I realize that it really wasn't a choice at all. I don't even see how I could run my store efficiently or effectively without one of my MOST favorite things, my Consignpro software.

How easy it is to learn and operate.

Cons

Tech dept hasn't always been there when I really needed them, especially during start-up.

I have a manageable business now! I was getting by before (by the skin of my teeth) using an organizing and adding program with a separate page to add up each Consignor at the end of the month. The consign pro system takes hours out of my payment system and I trust the efficiency, making business a smoother process overall. I'm grateful to get help when I need it. It's exciting and impressive to interact with the designer himself. I am in Alaska so our time zone "at times" is a challenge. I usually use a help line via email and get answers or eventually can screen share which is perfect for me. Works every time! I'm just amazed to have such good quality support. Thank you Consign Pro team!

Pros

Very clear and user friendly. A true business savor for me. It was a choice of finding a better way or ditching the whole thing.

Cons

My own limitations! The time difference in Alaska and the fact that I don't write down my questions when I have them to ask later when I can. I KNOW they can help and my questions are challenges to an intricate and well ordered program and they are always well met.

I couldn't imagine operating a consignment business without ConsignPro. ConsignPro is always updating and implementing the software to fit the needs of businesses. They want your input and suggestions. The ConsignPro customer service and technical support really go above and beyond to help.

The ConsignPro program can do so many things that I feel overwhelmed figuring out how it all works, thankfully the support team is always there to help.

Although developed for consignment stores, It’s suitable to a wide range of retail. It keeps my inventory, POS and reports easily & accurately. Support is just a call or click away pretty much 24/7. Also like the user’s Facebook group. Can learn a lot from other’s experiences.

I having been using Consign Pro for almost 4 years now & I find it to be extremely user-friendly and easy to use. The first year I pretty much figured out the basics myself with their easy to use, self-explanatory help screens. Then I was invited to join them on a training cruise! Where I learned more tricks, timesavers & overall how really great Consign Pro is to use & work with. The creator is a genius the way he has developed this software & is continuing to update it to make easier to use & so valuable for the success of my consignment business. I couldn't be happier with this product. 5 Stars! \*\*\*\*\* Love it & you will too! Buy it you will not be disappointed.

I switched to ConsignPro in June 2014 although the majority of my peers use other options. I have been very pleased & have had few issues. I do have lots of ideas for improvements & new features for day to day operations that will make life out here that much better. I understand there is a could based version coming & stuck with ConsignPro because of this rather than switching. I am looking forward to this change & all improvements that will go along with it. Brian & his entire team are very responsive & helpful.

Pros

It's fast & accurate. Making sales is quick & easy. MyResaleWeb has been extremely helpful. Online database backups & remote entry options are great additions too.

Cons

Reports are not always easy to use (specifically financial reports). Wish they were more customizable.

Nana's Treasure Chest Consignment of Sarasota is a family owned and operated consignment store servicing Sarasota and Bradenton FL. Why did we look for software? We knew that to be successful we had to be organized and professional; post-it notes, Excel spreadsheets, and dry erase boards were not going to provide a professional atmosphere. In order to gain the trust of our consignors we had to be extremely organized and efficient. Without trust through professional experiences consignors would not return. We needed systems that were bulletproof, support that answers the phone, and a professional team to cover our back during a busy season. Why did we choose ConsignPro? ConsignPro was recommended by a local consignment owner. I called for a demo and the staff at ConsignPro had me up and running in about 5 minutes with a working demo. Within 45 minutes I had read the manual and set up a basic store. I trained the family on the product within a few days. They were all happy with the decision and supported the purchase. Did we learn ConsignPro quickly? Amazingly, I scheduled the delivery of ConsignPro's software and hardware 2 days before implementation. In reality I had the system up and networked after lunch the first day. On the morning of day two we were entering inventory and stocking shelves. At the end of day 5 we had finished tagging and opened for business a week ahead of schedule. Looking back at the past year of working with ConsignPro I am certainly happy with the decision. Our staff can focus on sales and delivery and not IT concerns; this is how life should be. We've had experience with software and hardware in the past and were not newbies by any means. There was some general understanding of core computer concepts and manual reading abilities required to set the system up properly. With that said, the average high school senior could set this system up with help from support in a day.

### "would not open a consignment store without it!"

I have been using ConsignPro for over 12 years, in a store I managed and now my own. I would not open a store without it! It has been user friendly, great for pulling up reports and the support is super. I always attended the workshops at NARTS when I worked for the other store and attended the training cruise in 2016. I enjoyed the Cruise but felt it was mostly review for me and better for newer stores just starting out. All in all you guys do a great job and I have referred you to many start ups... One of the best things is how Customer Srvvice hears us and listens to store needs and incorporates the ideas into the next revision of the program. I am always confident that Support on the other end of the phone is there for me too. thanks guys keep up the good work
