We can't figure out how to seamlessly integrate an online shopping model. Pros It works well for selling and consigning our stuff in our retail store. I feel I have a better knowlege of what is selling for us and at what price. Our pricing has become more consistent and our sales have increased. Its kept my store much more organized and I feel way more in control of my numbers and inventory. My accountant loves the reports. I also appreciated the training in the early days and that my staff was able to log in and train alongside other Traxia users. It made conversion so much easier. It was truly a gift and the software is very user friendly. I highly recommend SimpleConsign, your consignors will love you for it. Pros I like the ability that my consignors can enter their inventory remotely. This was a huge advantage to me and cost me one less employee. Cons There needs to be more training videos for all the functions that the software can perform. I know that i only scratch the surface and am not getting full benefit of the software. Owner Apparel & Fashion Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Review" July 28, 2020 5.0 Pros I like that the software keeps all of my vendors organized, that the totals are calculated automatically based on the percentages that I set up, and that I as an admin/owner have real time access anywhere that I have internet (and so do my vendors). Cons That it is not fully integrated with Shopify. Only certain features are. Having a website is so important during this time we are in. I am not able to run my inventory through Simple Consign and my website. I need Simple Consign to offer a way to get variants (sizes and colors) to Shopify ASAP. The majority of my business is boutique and currently I am only able to load 1 size and color for each item. For instance, on the website I should have 1 picture for a shirt. Click on it to choose color and size. Right now, with Simple Consign, I can only have 1 size and color per picture, that means that I would have 3 listings for the 3 different sizes of the same shirt. Not exactly a clean, clutter free website. I believe they are supposed to be getting an update for this, however it keeps getting pushed back. Review Source JC Julianne C. We’ve been very satisfied with simple can sign. Their customer service has been excellent and the software it works flawlessly Pros We are a volunteer Crafts organization that has around 200 members. We find simple consign to be very easy for all of our users to use. Cons We have had to do several workarounds because the fields weren’t exactly right for our sales. They take the time to show you how to run the program, help you set it up. Log into your computer if they have to, to help. I tell all of my other fellow business owners about it. Pros I love the ease of our vendors knowing their sales daily. The ability to see my sales, monthly, daily,weekly. The integration directly with with shopify. They make it so easy to run my business's. I get quick responses to any customer support I need. Cons I honestly don't have anything, maybe the price, but I think its worth every penny. We love that it takes no time to train employees to use. I believe this was the best decision I have ever made for my business. Pros I love everything about simple consign. My favorite thing has to be the support. No matter the day, simple consign's support team is there to help you with any issues you may have. Cons There are no cons. As a previous user of the top rated software at the time, I can honestly say between the two there is no comparison. Simple consign is so much easier to search for inventory. The financial reports are much more advanced. From sales to layaway to tracking customer and consignor history Simple Consign is so far ahead of any other software on the market. I wouldn't run my shop without it. I can't end this review with out mentioning the great customer service. They are always there ready to help with any issue that may arise. I love the ease that the vendors have in adding their own merchandise. It works great! Pros It is easy to learn, easy to run, reports out on the more important data needed for taxes. I like the small, intimate size of the company and an overall very pleased! Pros The ability to easily go back and forth from consignment and store inventory. The ease of use for training purposes. Operations Manager Apparel & Fashion Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Simple Consign review" August 19, 2020 3.0 The benefits are not having to keep track of sold consignment pieces on paper and the system telling us how much the seller is supposed to get but we wish the whole program was more user friendly. Pros With the exception of the bar code readers there is no integration with our current system, we have to run it as a separate entity in the store. The best part of this program is that the check writing at the end of the month is automatic so we don't have to keep track of it separately. Cons Too many steps. Checking out customers for purchases is a pain and the credit card machine has never worked with this program. Every card has to be manually entered. There is no way to go back in and email a receipt to someone who wants one once the payment screen is gone. The charge for using a credit card is also way higher than expected. " December 13, 2017 5.0 Ease of compiling and reviewing data, inventory management, better overall experience for consignors, more fool proof for employees. Pros The direct customer interface is wonderful. Aside from eliminating most consignor check-in calls, a nice unexpected result is that I can price items at my discretion without a consignor looking over my shoulder. It is exceedingly rare for a consignor to call back and quibble over prices with almost always happnes in person. Cons The price is a bit more than I'd like, I have several friends who run small consignment shops that cant talk themselves into the price. Some of the reports and inventory searches could be cleaned up.
