Love it - it keeps my business running smoothly

Pros

Setmore is easy to set up and tailor to the needs of the business. I wanted to be able to colour code my appointment types, and have found a way to do that with the excellent support team. I don’t use all of the functions but what I do use is really impressive

Cons

There’s nothing to dislike as far as I can see - the only thing I would like to see is a function to record on a client record if they have cancelled or not turned up, without having to leave the appointment on the system. I would like to be able to open up the slot but keep a record that the patient cancelled

Setmore was already set up and my colleague was also using it. It works well and to change would have required a lot of admin . I considered the alternative fir patient record facility but decided we did not need the extraadmin

I have tried other's and have come back to Ashmore!!

Pros

The ease. Not too many p ages to flip through. We sto p ped using setmore and paid for more expensive ones... only because doesnt quite cover our needs. But i came back to setmore when weighing up pro & cons

Cons

I ideally need more photo space. And to be able to view photo bigger. I would also like better reporting. We have now got square so I'll see i f that makes reporting better. Also staff get to access client info, it would be good if they just saw their schedule ,& not able to change it and not see $ .

Excellent

Pros

I use Setmore daily to ensure clients receive appointment notifications and reminders for appointments. Clients have come to rely on this service. They also like to be able to make their appointments online without waiting for me to be available to help them. I have been able to personalise the features for my business and maintenance and development are easy. On the rare occasion that I can't work out what to do, the online support is quick and efficient. I would be lost without this product. I am a one-person business with a small turnover. It's perfect for me.

Cons

As I receive this service free, some options are not available to me. But I am not complaining.

It's a great software and I like working with it. Thank you!

Pros

It's easy and my customers get a reminder before the meeting. It's easy for me to look at my working week through the Setmore software.

Cons

1\. To work with it through the app and the smartphone is a bit of a mess for me. I can't break the spaces I blocked so people wouldn't book themselves. If I want to book someone at that same time from the road with the app, it's impossible. I have to wait until I'm near the computer again. 2. I work alone but go to different cities on different days of the week. So I put the cities as staff. It confuses my clients a bit until they get used to it. I need to have different options for different places, to keep the order of my being in every city they want to book themselves.

Setmore is super easy to use, and allows appointments to be set quickly. I like that they send out text or e-mail reminders. That keeps everyone on time - including me!

Pros

Like every small business owner I wear many hats. The one that was the hardest to wear was answering calls and setting appointments in a timely manner. After all, you can't work the business and create the business at the same time! So, I started using a virtual answering service that introduced me to Setmore. Since I started using Setmore in April and it has been a game changer for me, with more set appointments and less missed opportunities! Very easy to get started and lots of customer support. Super easy to see my schedules, and I like how fast they are filling up!! My Patients find it easy to use as well, and like the appointment reminders.

Cons

Even at 7 months, I have not enabled all of the features that Setmore offers. Probably just user learning curve issues - lol!!

Pros

This product allows us to effectively coordinate our daily service schedules, send them to our techs real time, include notes, edit and adjust in real time, differentiate appointment types by color and by a label which shows on the calendar. We have a permanent record of customer history that is easy to access. It is the perfect solution for my pest control company. It has even more features that we don't use but will implement in the future.

Cons

I wish we could assign multiple techs to the same big job and I wish we had a larger color palette for coding services offered. Those are minor needs when compared to ALL of the features we get.

Reason for choosing Setmore

Setmore is the only product that fit all of the needs of my personal business model and it is FREE at my current employee count. When I need to upgrade as my employee numbers grow, the price for Setmore is microscopic when compared to my alternatives. In addition to that, the features I will be able to add are worth far more than the cost. Thank you Setmore.

This is a very useful piece of software which helps us make our appointment really painless and automated. This also eliminates the possibility of double booking client and save us a lot of unnecessary hassle. As a production house, we are very happy using this software. We are also considering to add this feature on our website and working with our developer.

Pros

As a media production house, we need to keep a track of all our tasks and booking days so we don't overbook. With the help of this software from setmore, we can provide the customer with their dates very transparently. I highly recommend this piece of software to use and get benefit from it. We are thinking to add this on our website so the user can also book and schedule their own appointment automatically. I am impressed with its followup email capability and take payment at the time of reserving. This also helps me to ask them for fees and remind them of their appointment.

Cons

When I was filling up the scheduling form, the timing section is really confusing. I think they should give us the flexibility to set up the time in hours.

Pros

It has very robust features even in the free to use option. You can easily schedule and edit appointments, search for customers, and there is even a free mobile app.

Cons

There is lack of ease in getting reports for customer appointments.

I will now be able to book appointments with my clients when they click a button on my website, when I text them a link to my booking page, offer that link in social media, and email it to anyone wishing to meet with me. This is awesome.

Pros

Upon trying out Setmore for the first time, I began experimenting with features and setting up my schedule. Very quickly I was met with a chat by a friendly "Hello". Every time I came upon something I had a question about, another assistant chimed in to say Hi. I ended up asking questions as I came upon them, then was already accustomed to using the chat by the time I asked a few questions on my own. Relevant articles were suggested, direct answers were given. I am discovering, with all this help how powerful and simple this app is. Also, since I am getting really fast response, I am more efficient using the app. I intend to integrate it with my website.

Cons

I sincerely cannot think of a negative aspect to Setmore.

There are many features that have no cost to get started. One service I checked out would have charged me $20.00/ month and as a re-startup business, that may have cost me more than $5 per appointment during my first month in business. I needed something that would allow me to get started and grow alongside my plan and still have strong features for capturing appointments. This seems to allow for this need.

Overall, the app is great! I use it mainly as a digital back up for my pen and paper appointment book. It is convenient to send reminders once everyone is in the system. I do not use it for payments yet, but may try it in the future.

Pros

Form all the scheduling apps that I tried, Setmore is the friendliest to use. The UI is good, easy to navigate, and visually pleasing.

Cons

I have some issues with text reminders. The default reminders are set to a format where date and time of the appointment are listed backwards. I am assuming that it is the UK format but there should be a way to change the default text even in a free version. Another improvement that can be made is for the app to simply take the phone numbers from the existing contact list on my phone instead of me entering client's phone number into the app with each new client. I end up entering them twice; once into my contact list and then again into the contact list of Setmore. An option to scan the contact list would be great. I would also suggest the addition of another color scheme for the app. It's a bit bland for my taste.

It keeps me on track with all of my appointments and the appointments for my team. I just love all of the reminders. It makes me look so professional.

Pros

I absolutely love this program. It keeps me on track and I don't have to worry about reminding my clients about their appointments. My associates can schedule an appointment with ease and check my schedule for availability for training in the field.

Cons

The reminders should be personalized. One should be able to set reminders so that the customer can call the person that actually sets the appointment with them if he/she has to cancel or reschedule. Right now they can only call the phone number of the administrator of the account. If the client loses the associate's number there is no other way to contact them.

Amazing service and always feel looked after and supported. I also like that it supports my card reader and MailChimp although haven't found a quick way of importing details.

Pros

The support I have received from setmore has been outstanding. Always ready to answer questions and find the solutions. I highly recommend this service.

Cons

I got caught out with BST and lost a couple of appointment slots. I now know to log out and log back in when the clocks change.

Pros

The ability to set & send automatic notices (to us & the client) of appointments made, appointment reminders, rescheduled appointments, and cancellations is incredibly valuable for our needs. Setmore has taken customer service to another level, in a good way! The "chat" icon is the best! It's like a Setmore customer service rep is hanging out, ready to help. Whereas many company's bombard you with constant emails about everything, Setmore discreetly shares useful tips, new features, and important announcements through the tiny chat icon present on your screen. To help their clients during the COVID-19 crisis, they announced and released FREE tools for social distancing while working. Including a video conferencing tool. All FREE. It doesn't get much better than that!

Cons

It was a little tricky confirming our booking page.

Scheduling your clients on the go, or in the salon. On your phone/ tablet or PC. Use for one, or use with a team of stylists. The client can pay through the site also. Easily block time off for breaks or days off.

Pros

Great for the beauty industry, easy for us to use and easy for clients, much more reasonably priced than other scheduling software.

Cons

Need to be able to automatically schedule clients more than every 4 weeks. Some clients want to come every 5-6 weeks. But your options only go to 4 weeks for automatic scheduling. We need to be able to require a deposit from clients. Have a spot where they can pay a deposit to hold their appointment.

When I first discovered it I couldn't believe how easy it was to use and what a prefect fit it was for my business. You can pay to upgrade some functionality but I've been fine with the free version.

Pros

This software is a great alternative to a paid application. I run my whole personal training business with it.

Well, if we didn't have Setmore we could always use Outlook in some form but we wouldn't get the updates part of it that I like.

Pros

It's reliable, it saves automatically. I like that it gives you updates on what people have done to the appointments since I'm not the only one that uses it to book. You can see when an appointment was canceled or confirmed or just running late.

Cons

That when you click any part of the screen even if it's a gray area on your calendar, it thinks you want to enter an appointment when all you want to do is exit from another one. Another think I don't like is that Mondays come first on the calendar on the top of the screen. I wish you could change it to a normal calendar with Sunday first.

Frustrating, lack of confidence, irritating. Do recognize eventually when they are at fault and will financial compensate. When it works it's great BUT all to regularly it doesn't work and can impact the bottom line of your business. They are not financially compensating for that, just your subscription fee

Pros

They ha ve recredited my account for the failure of the service meeting the agreement I paid for. When you insist on being escalated. You will eventually get through to an English speak who can fully understand the nuisances of the language. There by getting "what is" and being able to provide customer service.

Cons

Setmore online calendar is slow, restricting and inflexible on phones. It is most flexible through the google calendar BUT that connection of syncing between Setmore and Google calendar continuously breaks down. I had to wait 2weeks to get the fix done. It has continuously failed over the past 11months of subscription, and adversely affected my business. The first tier of customer service support do not have English as their primary language, and a substantial amount of frustrating time can be spent speaking at cross purposes. Thereby failing to resolve anything. All customer support contact is through texting

Setmore is a brilliant booking system, it's one of the few free versions that I have used which offers many features without having to upgrade. The customer support is excellent.

Pros

You can access your diary from any device. Clients can make their own bookings. It sends confirmation of bookings. Saves all of the client info & history.

Cons

You can't create multiple service bookings for a client unless the client books from our bookings page. You can't create a buffer time per booking instead of per service, this can accumulate when booking multiple services. The app often doesn't show all the bookings that have been made. The online version has a tab that says today on the calander but when you change the date it doesn't change from today to 'Tuesday' for example. You can't type to search for a service when using the online version but you can on the app. If we decide to open on a certain day during peak season we can't just book that specific day without allowing bookings when we have time off or changing our business hours. We can't book time off for multiple staff members at once, it needs to be done individually.
