Pros

very efficient and saves a ton of office work.

Cons

A bit of a learning curve but I would expect that with any new software, all positive from us!

Pros

I like that it's cloud-based so I can access it from all my devices on the go. The layout is very simple as well.

Cons

It doesn't save me a whole lot of time with scheduling. I'd rather just use Google Calendar or the Outlook Calendar for free.

If you're wanting to REALLY automate things, I wouldn't bother with the Startup version. It's not that it isn't great. It's just that the Pro version has way more features to truly automate your tasks. Their sales guy told me I should use the Pro version so I could use the bulk email feature. I signed up over the winter 2 years ago and really wanted to save money. He was right. I'm using the email blast every month and it's been a huge help to sell more work. The other big feature that I was super pumped about was the picture capture on the mobile. I saw a video where they recommend having your crews take pictures in the field of things that need to be done at the property and have the office email the picture with a note. This has generated a considerable amount of business in addition to emailing our clients every month. And to make things better, a new project management feature is coming out next month. Can't wait!

We signed up for Service Autopilot this month. I'm working with Ashley on importing our schedules. We already sync'd with QuickBooks. She asked us to review our experience so far. Ashley has been great. I also talked with Stephen and Rebecca (both were excellent). Syncing with QuickBooks was easy. We had to verify our account balances between Service Autopilot and QuickBooks. They have a report that shows discrepancies so it wasn't much work. I gave Ashley a file of leads. She imported it. We are also importing our schedules from another program. Ashley is doing that as well. We have been through the webinar training and have a 1-on-1 training session scheduled with Scott. The only other thing I can think to say is I was offered training at their office but we don't think we are ready for it. We just want to get started using the program. So far no problems and everyone has been really helpful.

I have been using Service Auto Pilot for over two years and all I can say is WOW! This is the software for anyone who wants to take their business serious. In two years I have witnessed the crew behind SA make leaps and bounds to meet and surpass my expectations of what a maintenance software should and can do. Everything from customer setup, estimates, accounting, service tracking, employee time clock, mobile scheduling, and so many things in between this does it all! I have had the privilege of metting quite a few of the staff as well as the creators, and they are very devoted to making this the best software for any business that expects more. The staff is friendly and have become extremely quick to respond to any questions or concerns. There is no doubt I would refer Service Auto Pilot to anyone who I wanted to help get ahead with their business.

My company had recently started using Service Autopilot when I was Hired in July of 2014. All of us were fairly new to the system. Especially myself. However, we all found out quickly how user friendly the system is. I found myself familiar with most of the system within a few weeks of using it and even able to teach others easily as well. The staff at Service Autopilot is always on call to answer questions. Having someone available who knows the system in and out makes learning much easier. One drawback I see is not being able to group several jobs into a "project" like scenario. I have been told grouping jobs is in the works and may be available in the near future. Overall the system is easy to learn and makes the business much more proficient. Service Autopilot is a great addition to our company and I certainly would recommend it.

### "Great Software Some Caveats "

Overall a good software with some excellent people in the company. They just need to slow down enough to ensure transitions from other software is done accurately, focus on service and resolving known issues before adding more features. I would choose this software again.

Pros

\- Automations (sending automated messages for marketing/collection etc.) - Automated arrival preferences (again, part of what they call Automations -Able to text clients from software - Setting up To Do's for employees - One report - Job Costing - has potential to make price increase easier to evaluate for under-performing accounts - Time saved entering leads

Cons

\- Closed API - so make sure you want to own and be owned by this one software - Not able to get support on your schedule (wait for a call back which may happen when you can't take the call) - Fast growth and race to add features seems to have created a back log on issues - Can't open a client account right from the calendar - Issues with the Quickbooks Online synch - Scrolling through a client's receivables is wonky (you have to click to load more transactions)

As a Husband and Father of 2 young boys service autopilot allows me to spend some much needed family time

Pros

It has so many features, as a small business owner this will cut down on labor cost and place control in the palm of your hand. Everything looks very professional to my customers to the point that it makes my company seem larger than it is.

Cons

I don’t have any cons because it’s worth more than the cost and if you go thru the training courses it teaches you how to excel through it.

In 2010 we had about 1,000 clients. Today, we have over 5,000. Prior to Service Autopilot we had to charge every credit card individually in QuickBooks. The bulk charge all cards feature has saved me days of work per month. Prior to Service Autopilot, if a client called for their balance, wanted to make a payment, or update their credit card, I had to call them back myself since no one else is allowed in Quickbooks. They had to wait until I was available, which was frustrating for our Customer Service Reps, as well as for the customers. Now, anyone in the office with permissions can handle basic accounting transactions. Many clients use the client portal and don't call. However, those that do call, I no longer have to handle every call myself.

We are a full service maintenance company. I hate to admit it but we are at a point in our business we would be lost with out SAP. Everything about it is great. We have used several other programs for running the business and none are in the same league. As with anything that is as complex as SAP it does take some getting use to. Its not going to be easy to use at first but after you are comfortable with the system it very easy. When we hire someone new it usually takes them a week to get use to the system and by 2 months they are proficient. Nothing in life is easy though and I expect there to be a learning curve with everything, that's what is great about the free customer service. I could go on and on but bottom line is this is the best match for our business!

I was a Service Autopilot user for several years starting around 2011. We switched from ServiceCEO. I recently sold my commercial cleaning company. #1 Positive 'Frequency of Enhancements. The system improved a ton over the years we used it. #2 Positive ' Really good customer service. #1 Negative ' Our managers used Surface tablets and Service Autopilots app only works on Apple and Android devices. We had to use their mobile version that required constant internet service because we didn't use apple or droid devices. Inside some of the buildings our people couldn't get internet service. #2 Negative ' They need inspection forms built in to the system. I don't know how they can't have this feature. I was told it is called forms and it is coming.

EDU Lawn Service is a nonprofit service that teaches students how to run their own business, using lawn service as a tool to achieve that goal. We searched over the course of months for a program that simplified as well as saved time. We now use SA as a teaching tool for our students learn and see concepts in action, such as job costing and implementing a rolling day to day cost benefit analysis. Students have been able to come up with their own solutions using SA's tools to become more efficient and bring their own ideas to the business world and test them. We are excited about our future with SA and implementing even more tools it offers to help us achieve our goals as well as provide a top notch service.

Simply if you are still operating your business out of your notebook, spreadsheets for scheduling, paper scheduling, spending hours and hours doing invoices, trying to look over your notebook to see what service or property needs to be done; STOP! This software will completely change they way you do business. It saves us from having to hire at least one full time office manager maybe two. We wouldn't have thought we could grow to size we are without having this software. I can't wait to see all the new features that is coming in next 12 months as well. It just keeps getting better and better each release. Being greedy, I hope my competitors don't find out about this for another five years!

I have been using Service Autopilot for just over a year. We do not need or use all of the features of Service Autopilot. Even thought we probably only use 1/3rd the functionality I have found the core features to be a huge help and worth the money. We mainly use the system to generate manual invoices, charge credit cards, estimate, to dos, phone calls, notes and customer and lead management. I am really happy with the mobile app and the new employee section is a huge improvement. I recommend Service Autopilot even if the amount of functionality is overkill for your business.

The small group atmosphere of the training was very good. It made it very easy to ask and get answers to each of our specific businesses. I appreciated the insights regarding projects SA is working on and the apparent priority of many of the projects. It helps me align my goals and needs with what the software capabilities are and will be in the future. I would suggest that anyone attending this type of training be required to go through the intro 1 & 2 before they can attend. Some questions were basic and would not have been asked if everyone went through that training first.

I have been using Service Autopilot for more than 4 years now for 2 of my completely separate service businesses. Both business are 95% self sufficient in part thanks to what Service Autopilot has been able to do in streamlining many day to day functions. It is easy to navigate and learn even for non tech savvy people like my self. When and if there is an issue or a minor glitch (like with any technology) Service Autopilot is very responsive in handling issues. There can be glitches from time to time but over all this software has been instrumental in building my businesses.

Service Autopilot is easy to use, intuitive, and visually appealing. Their support is top notch. They constantly update the software to sort out bugs, add new features, improve existing features. The one downside we find is that they are targeting a wide audience - from small to large companies, and different service industries. This spreads their focus which means some of our needs and requirements cannot be met or take a long time. But, on the plus side, the owner of the company has worked with us at times to get us what we need.

One thing I would love to see if we had the opportunity to visit again is a tour of City Turf to see how they are living in the system. Very difficult to pick up (still in learning process), which I think makes it difficult to implement because I (as the owner) am not confident in how well I know the program. I can see difficulties training future office help with this program. With that said, once learned the program is amazing, customer service is great, and the people at service autopilot listen to our needs and I feel try to implement everyone's needs.

Once I located Service Autopilot and started implementing this program my life was changed. I started to enjoy my business again.
