Pros: calendar scheduling, sync quickbooks online, customer database, being able to see on the smartphone, being able to have iCalendar to add to the phone's calendar

Cons: the item can't move up and down, for example, when you are doing the invoice, if you want to put a new item, you have to remove all other iteam and start all over

Overall: sync to quickbooks online

Our experience with the software is good overall.

Pros: The software is easy to use. It tells you whether a customer saw or not the invoice/estimate. It allows you to see unpaid invoices.

Cons: -quick book sync doesn't work right, it makes duplicates of all the customers.
-you can not enter different job locations for the same customer, a new customer needs to be created every time there is a new job location

Overall: We can keep track of all the customers/estimates/invoices.

Pros: It's simplicity and easy to use. Allows you to keep a lot of information for each customer. Especially like be able to search for a contact not only by name but also by house address or phone number.

Cons: Whenever you want to eliminate tags of one sort or another the software will eliminate those tags in existing completed jobs. Why can't the old tags stay in place when we no longer have use for them and want to change or eliminate?

Pros: How easy it is to use and you can update on the road via the app. Nice being able to save pictures to jobs that need to be done or for future reference

Cons: Sometimes the app stops on my phone and has to be restarted. You cannot update customer information while using the app

Overall our experience with Kickserv has been good. There are a few glitches at times.

Pros: The calendar has been easy to use. We do not use it for our installers at this time but use it daily for our sales appointments. For the most part kickserv has been user friendly.

Cons: There are times when we have issues syncing with QuickBooks. It seems this happens when we have one customer with multiple locations. We created our own invoice and estimate template. It would be helpful if this was easier to do and we did not need an HTML guru or it would be helpful if kickserv was more helpful with this. Reports can be confusing to create to pull the information needed. The reports probably took us the longest to figure out how to use. When uploading pictures it is very slow for the sales people when using their ipad in the field.

Very happy with the product, I have tried many other products & I feel you have the right value.

Pros: It works the way it's meant to, I know I can rely on it to alert me when jobs are due. Very happy with the product.

Cons: I can't use Opportunities in my business, it doesn't work inline with my business. So unfortunately this is a section of the software that doesn't' work for me,

Pros: From an admin position this product has been very easy to set up and use. Most of all we have been able to customize to fit our needs. Our clients often remark on how simple and easy to read our estimates are. We have it synced with Quickbooks to track payments.

Cons: Other than the server issue a few months back we have not had any real complaints. Tech support usually responds within a few minutes or contacting them.

Pros: I love the interface. Everything is user friendly and easy for everyone. The support is second to none. Any time I have a questions, someone is there to provide an answer in WELL under 24 hours

Cons: I am not the biggest fan of the app. The app on android is a bit buggy. I haven't had any major issues though.

Pros: The software is easy to learn and has a lot of functions that we are able to use. They are constantly updating and adding new features.

Cons: The times that we have lag issues really make it hard to some days almost impossible to run our business. Customer support is great, but sometimes when we point out problems they are not always addressed right away.

Pros: Its easy on an iphone, and can be used as well on an ipad. The reaction of the app is great and does not crash all the time.

Cons: The bugs, and if we try to tell them what to change this takes really long. and somethimes they don't change anything.

Pros: Scheduling is a breeze, I can look back and see the history of who went to what job. The reports help us look at the past few years to see if there's a pattern for busy times of year.

Cons: I honestly don't have any complaints - Its a big upgrade from Service Sidekick - I highly recommend this program.

Overall: Ease of Scheduling, Custom reports, billing is a breeze and posting payments is easy.

Of all the software that I have used this has been the best with all the features you need and more.

Pros: I can see all my jobs and days at any time any day 365 day of the year I love it... just some times when don't have internet access to the software is not convenient but its ok. Is very rare this thing happens. Im very glad to have this tool

Cons: Nothing its very efficient., some times my office make changes at the very last moments but it's not your fault. I dont know who to used all the tools but I will learn how to used soon. Some times I ask my co workers and they teach me how to do it but to be honest I have no time to learn.

Overall: Well is very important to learn how to use it. In the very beginning I was not familiar whit the software because Im almost 50 years old and I dont know much about technology but little by little Im learning every day a different way to used .And Im happy whit it

Pros: Email estimates and invoices to customers and get signatures while still onsite. Invoices sync to accounting software.

Cons: Customer & jobsite info do not always sync correctly. Cannot handle basic customer credits or refunds. Have to jump around multiple screens to get a clear idea of the schedule and open jobs to be done.

Pros: The software is super easy to use. I like that I can use it on my laptop or ipad. This makes working on the road easier.

Cons: I would like to have the ability to customize the invoices more. In some cases the customer's name shows up twice, in places where we would rather they not. We are also having issues getting suite numbers to show up on addresses and we use two window envelopes to mail invoices, so this causes an issue.

Fits our company's needs and overall easy to use.

Pros: It is overall easy to customize to fit our needs. There are many features we use and I'm sure many more we don't. Allowing other employees to view, create notes and have user access is very helpful for our business. Also, the search option is great. When forgetting what address is associated with what customer, the search option is a helpful go-to when looking for a random piece of information.

Cons: I wish it was easier to navigate online "help topics". While the customer service on the phone is great, it would be nice to access online articles. I haven't found them especially helpful. Also, when clicking on a customer and then accessing the jobs in their profile, it has been very frustrating seeing old jobs come up first. I don't want to see 2014 jobs, I'd rather see the ones I'm currently on, being 2018. Making the option to choose a date view and then having KickServ remember my last selection would be very helpful.
In-Progress (for jobs) tab is really confusing. We only use Scheduled or Completed. We have one job in In-Progress (not sure how it got there) and don't know how to move it to Scheduled. This is very confusing and frustrating as we don't use this feature and don't know how to get rid of it. Please get rid of In-Progress or make the option to not use, more accessible.

Best dispatching software. It's easy to use and our technicians love it!

Pros: I like that it is easy for every member of my team to use from field techs to office staff including our clients. Everything is very straightforward and for the most part able to be customized to our needs.

Cons: The mobile app is glitchy at times requiring work arounds to ensure that the guys in the field can function.

Overall: As previously stated, it is easy for my team to use and allows our clients to see the same thing we are looking at to ensure transparency.

This app is so easy to use and stores all of our job files.

Pros: I love that all of our job files are stored in 1 place, our customers have access to paperwork that we allow them to see. Also, that all of our employees can access the files they need when they need them no matter where they are, in the office or on the road.

Cons: 1 thing I would like to see changed is that it is only compatible with quickbooks and not other accounting softwares. I understand why but wish it was compatible with the software my company uses.

Overall: Our company was able to take our job files from about 20 filing cabinets to ZERO by using Kickserv. No more making copies of every bit of paper to keep in a filing cabinet, no more filing. This app is so easy to use and so flexible. I love it

Pros: Easy program. I love the estimate, invoice, scheduling, new opportunity, estimate sent and estimate viewed.

Cons: Sometimes the program is slow due to updating program. A few times I was not alerted when an estimate was approved by a customer.

Software very easy to learn and to use. Prints work orders and invoices. Attach external documents.

Pros: Really like the credit card customer payment function. Can attach picture of payments by check for proof of payment. "Stripe" is an excellent card processor.

Cons: Impossible to get off the "hold" job status. Can't modify the work order or invoice although they look good.

Overall: Ability to export historical data.

Pros: billing, integration with Quickbooks... calendar & scheduling. We now use this for our customer database for mailers, contact, etc.

Cons: wish there would be a gps integration so we could also track technicians and where they are, should be simple to do with using app on phone/iPad

Pros: It is a quick software and has all the info that is needed when searching for something. It updates as you do the work so other workers get the info quickly to know what has been switched.

Cons: I don't really have anything in mind that I like least on this system. Everything in this system works perfectly for what I need in the job.

Pros: What I like most about Kickserv is that I can do all scheduling, invoicing, and quotes through the same system as well as keeping all of our client's information in one place.

Cons: I wish you were able to do more financial reports through the system as well as put other non job-related expenses into the system. I do not like having to use two systems to do this.

Pros: Makes scheduling my jobs super easy. Keeps my customers informed with automatic email and text messages and also does the same for my team. Easy editing of existing customer and also to create new customer.

Cons: Not the ideal platform for logging pipeline deals. It is also difficult to process reports for an individual team member.

Pros: There are so many great features to kick serve it's hard to pick what I like the most. Uploading job pictures and documents has been extremely valuable to our business

Cons: The the only complaint I have about kickserv is that the mobile app is not Android friendly. If you download it and try to use it it shuts down and closes every time

Overall: It makes keeping our books very easy. Sending invoices and collecting Monies is so simple

Kickserv has made my life as a business owner so much easier. It's literally an employee and a half.

Pros: What I love about Kickserv is its ease of use and how organized it keeps myself and my fleets of trucks. At all times my crew chiefs can access their most up to date schedule of jobs and no need for me to call them or text them anything.

I also love the consolidation. I can use it to schedule jobs, dispatch crews, collect invoices and payments. It almost does everything that a business would need.

Cons: I wish that it also included the ability to send out agreements for signature. That is the only thing missing.

Pros: Easy to use. The mobile app is very useful and syncs very well with the online app. We have used kickserv for over 5 years and have grown our company using the easy-to-use customer relationship management software and scheduling tools kickserv offers.

Cons: We really would like to see a more comprehensive search engine so that we can lookup anything such as "other contacts," and keywords to locate customers such as "problem," "re do," or any other notes we used to describe our customers.

I am extremely happy with Kickserv. There is a bit of a learning curve but I am very pleased.

Pros: Field invoicing is a great feature. It allows us to take a payment right in the app and it will directly upload to our office.

Cons: I would like to be able to view a full calendar in the app.

Comments: I have recommended this system to a friend of mine who needed a simple scheduling software and a way to keep track of construction based limited touch business.

Pros: This system is very user friendly right off the box. It is easy to schedule and input data as well. It is very helpful in allowing you to view your schedule on multiple devices at any time you need to check it.

Cons: I feel like it lacked in depth tools no tear sheets no followup scheduling. It was very simple which worked but you could say it had a limited reach.

Pros: Very easy to use, many reports available based on data we enter into system. The custom reports are awesome, you can build any that are needed. For a small company, 3 years old that I just started working for 1 year ago, they needed the push to use it to its capacity and we are now getting information out of it that is very valuable for growth.

Pros: Intuitive user interface makes it easy to learn and adjust to updates. The customer support from the KickServ team is one of the best in the industry.

Pros: Pretty user friendly and it syncs with Quickbooks desktop. Customer service is awesome too! Like the calendar

Cons: Wish that email addresses were easier to enter when emailing an invoice. Also wish there were more formats for the receivables reports.

Pros: This software is easy to use and some really great features... I like that I can drag appointments from one day to the next if needed. And contact customer service if needed easily.

Cons: I wish there were more alerts that would come up - such as an alert that will come up when scheduling someone that has an open balance so that we can let the customer know when scheduling, also what would be really helpful is if there was an alert that pops up stating that there is already a scheduled appointment open for that customer to avoid potentially double booking a customer (sometimes a wife will call to schedule and the husband may have already scheduled and it gets confusing). When scheduling multiple days on jobs I wish it didn't go on top of the calendar but blocked out the time. Also wish that there was an alert that would come up if a customer address is already in the database to avoid duplicates. Also, wish that email reminders were able to customize so that we could change time frames as we schedule in 2 hour increments - so we are really not able to use the feature which is one of the reasons we picked this scheduling software over others.

Hello Leeann - thank you for your time and feedback. To help avoid duplicate bookings our best practice is to search customers by street address prior to booking. Street addresses are very unique and will display any prior events for that location.

Pros: The calendar and resource views and functionalities are the best features of Kickserv. We have 7 vehicles on the road and we need to know where they are and how each job went. Kickserv allows us to communicate in a cloud based system that all of our techs can access in real-time. When a change is made to the calendar, all office staff can see it. Technicians can leave job notes before they leave the job site, and customers can pay online after they are invoiced by email.
The newer look of KickServ was a real step up from the original Service Sidekick. It has grown with us and continues to get better everyday. It has really begun to feel like we have a real business and we are happy with the way KickServ has grown into theirs as well.

Cons: The technicians cannot see the description of charges in the itemized list of charges while using the mobile app on their phones.
Some issues with recurring jobs - I have found that most of the issues get resolved as soon as we mention them to the KickServ customer service team. If there is an answer, the team is willing to try and find it.
When KickServ lags or goes down it slows our company down to a crawl. It was worse before, and only keeps getting better.

Good experience overall, customer support time is frustrating tho...

Pros: This software offers great functionality and customization, so far has been the one that adapted the most to our requirements. New functionalities are added on weekly basis which is really nice. Price is very accessible for small business. Is easy to use once that you get the grip on it which takes time because some stuff is somehow counter intuitive, I seriously recommend getting the paid support/training sessions otherwise you will get very frustrated.
integration with QB and use of credit card payment is solid.

Cons: Customer support time is frustrating, they take at least several hours to get back to you then sometimes they will reply and stop answering for another several hours, this made us almost regret our decision when setting up our account. They offer documentation for the software but a lot of topics are mere drafts and do not contain a lot of information. Despite the fact that they answer really slow they are very helpful with the answers provided and you can be sure your problem will get solve 90% of the time or a feature request will be placed.

Sometimes the system gets really slow , specially on Monday mornings and end of the month, contacting support and letting them know seems to fix the issue most of the time...

The Android app could use some improvement although it has improve a lot in the last 6 months.

Overall: We boost productivity big time with this software!

Pros: What i like most about the software is the ease of the program. When i input an address it starts to give recommendations and it fills in the blanks for you. You can also view a map of the location. We use this software everyday throughout the day and is a great program for the office to communicate with people in the field without having to call them.

Cons: We have used kickserv for a few years now and i really haven't run into any major problems with the software. The few times i did, the tech helped out immediately to get my issues resolved.

Cons: Not enough instruction on how to set up invoice information (some of the fields do not seem to work). Overall documentation needs work as far as more detail information and maybe examples.Would be nice to have something to keep track of how much you charge and collecting money. Would like to click on the Work Order in the calendar view and bring the WO up. Have to exit invoice screen in order to log a payment.

Pros: Reasonable pricing. Good set of features. Great customer service. We've used this program for at least 10 years.

Cons: It's looking better, but still a bit "clunky". Not very intuitive if you're new to the system. Screen views are stretched out and take up a lot of room. You have to scroll a lot to find things. It could be more compact and easier to maneuver. The Android version is the same way - multiple screens to find things. You have to learn all the workarounds to be productive.

Overall: Let's us keep all customer data in one place. Syncs with our bookkeeping program. Internet based lets us work from anywhere. Good value for the $$$.

Cons: Thy have a feature to add pictures but the load time is extremely slow so I use another service provider for that function.

Pros: I love how easy it is as admin to add users, customize certain fields and see who has what on their calendar, emailing invoices to customers from the software, integration with QB.

Cons: I can't progress invoice, therefor I can't take advantage of really knowing the money in the pipelines. Certain custom fields for a customer's location don't carry over when you create a new job in that location, creating double entry.

Overall: The benefits are countless and far outweigh the features that we still don't have. What I love is that Kickserv is constantly adding new features and increasing the software's functionality.

Pros: I love that I can keep all my clients and everything in one place. Customer service is awesome to deal with.

Cons: The mobile site doesn't function as well as the desktop and we're out and about a lot!
Also, for months there have been ongoing issues of different sorts, this doesn't help me or our business, when I need client addresses and phone numbers and the site is down.
Quickbooks syncing hasn't worked right in awhile. At this point I'm not sure why I'm still using kickserv or quickbooks, i'm thinking of what else I can do at this point as it's not worth the money.

Overall: I can keep my clients and all jobs information in one place.

Worked with customer today on the phone and screen share. We found that her item list needed to be updated from Quickbooks first. We cleared the item list and ran the sync again. The invoices are now sync'ing to Quickbooks successfully.

Pros: Keeps all of my office and field workers on the same page. Love that it can also sync to my QB Desktop software.

Cons: Can't edit invoices on Kickserv after they are synced with QB. A lot of steps to email the estimate after it's prepared. Downtime during the day when I'm trying to pull opportunities up and provide customers with a quote. Can't easily view line items on invoices on the Android Mobile app. Support takes a day to get a hold of you sometimes. I also don't like that the IP of the customer is not included when they sign an invoice, as my lawyer advises it may not hold up in court for the signed contract without it. I also wish I could integrate payments with my Authorize.net account. pany sets) for credit card use.

Overall Kickserv is very easy to get up and running quickly.

1. Connecting the Software to Bank Accounts can provide several advantages. I know doing this will cost a lot of money but it will allow the administration department have a better connection with the finance department.
2. Noticed you changed background color from red to blue. Red makes people think aggressive and self confidence. Blue makes people feel safe. I think Red might go more with what you are trying to build.

Pros: We like the syncing capabilities, customization options, reports, and task/reminder functions. This app was truly created with the intention of giving you peace of mind that you've never forgotten something. It makes us feel truly organized and gives us the ability to keep our processes working smoothly.

Cons: When Service Sidekick got switched over to the new platform, Kickserv, we were excited for the new features, but the downtime and constant account issues have been frustrating. Support is sometimes difficult to get ahold of, as well. That being said, the incident report updates that we signed up for, have been great during these circumstances and Pete is always very helpful when he's providing support.

Pros: The software is very organized, easy to navigate through, I like that there's more than one way to search for something. I think the Dispatch View is an amazing concept! I am in the service industry and have technicians that I send all over S. OC, having a map right there and not having to switch back and forth with google maps would be wonderful! I really hope they will be able to fully incorporate it into the software. The texting concept is another wonderful idea I recently saw added. A lot of my customers ask for texts because their at work and in meetings etc, so to have this feature fully functional would be another efficient bonus!

Cons: There really isn't anything I dislike about this software. Recently, the Kickserv Team had to do a massive switch over, customers from their old software switched over to the new one and it caused problems across the board. However, our business didn't suffer too much and Kickserv's tech team was on a solution right away! I also really appreciated their update blog while they were fixing everything. We also had a problem with syncing to Quickbooks and Quickbooks locking our ability to change contact info from Kickserv. But that's been fixed as well!

Pros: I love that you can do many things with this software, but my favorite is that it keeps in contact with my customer sending out emails the day before I arrive and again on the day of my appointment. Amazing, it has cut down the to almost 0 of customers missing our appointment.

Cons: The thing that I do not like is when using from a smart phone in the field, you open the program and a number tasks close down the program and restarts. It never lets you use these tasks. Wish they would fix it so the phone can access the program. Love it if I could email their invoice from smart phone.

Overall: This software helps my business stay very well organized. My last business I used just an accounting program and had to hire 2 office personnel to run the back end of my business. With this program, I can do my back end with the help of my bookkeeper. I authorized my bookkeeper as admin personnel and from his office he keeps me organized with my quarterly's and end year.

Pros: The ease of use and ability to sync with Quickbooks (although not seamlessly) are the best attributes.
The search feature and ability to use custom fields are nice to have.

Cons: The software is unreliable. I have been using it for 3 months and am surprised how many problems there are. The program encounters numerous slow downs or problems and it takes hours (sometimes longer) for the support team to fix the problem. Never had constant problems like this with Service Sidekick. It is frustrating to wonder if the program will be functional from one day to the next.
The program does sync with Quickbooks, but the data doesn't transfer completely. After the sync, we have to go in and manually input data or amend items like the customer name and terms.
The android mobile app crashes constantly and is unreliable.

Cons: there are way too many glitches for the price tag & support is never anywhere to be found. The "glitches" or downtime he is correct. They were to numerous during our migration of customers from legacy to our new Kickserv platform in April 2017. We have since corrected all those issues inherited from that one time event. We apologize very much so that we did not anticipate those issues better.

Pros: The calendar is the biggest strength of this program. I like being able to use colors for different types of jobs. Also when you move something on the calendar it automatically updates. Our new software does not do that and I miss it. Service psychic used to be very easy to add people into the system and get them scheduled. Kick serve was not. The quick add was a great function when we were at tradeshows or when you're on the phone with a customer.

Cons: The reporting is near worthless. None of the reports are ever accurate, and trying to get someone to help you make them accurate was like banging your head against a wall. The system was incredibly unreliable It is constantly going down. For a web-based system, businesses rely on its functionality during business hours. We had many days of inability to use the system. They're always seem to be some reason why it crashed. The system was much much better when it was service sidekick. We had to build a salesforce software system because it was so dysfunctional. The customer service was also incredibly bad.

Overall: During the service sidekick years, many. During the kick serve years nearly 0 other than scheduling.

We migrated hundreds of our original customers from our legacy system to Kickserv starting in April 2017 through May 2017. We inherited some issues that we certainly should have anticipated or planned for. We did find a couple processing issues bringing on all those older accounts so quickly. We have since cleared those problems and added many more resources to handle much more growth. We sincerely apologize to all our loyal customers for enduring those weeks of processing delays.

Pros: Mobile app has great features, QuickBooks desktop integration is a plus, ease of reports. Overall the design of the software would be very good, if their servers could handle the volume of hits it was getting.

Cons: VERY slow at times, been a lot of downtime recently (sprint 2017), horrible customer service - can never get a human. Very passive to answer questions and help train end user. I feel as though their growth is outpacing their development. Further, quickbooks desktop integration has become very expensive.

Pros: Everything, but there is no canned notes on jobs. The software is easy to use, it embeds into my website great, and every other feature I can think of works great!

Cons: No canned notes. Lots of other software has this, it can't be that hard to integrate this into the programming.

Cons: hard to view light green new jobs. editing is difficult unless I add in the notes file. prone to mistakes since the cursor is too sensitive causing errors and much lost time.

Hello Ron, Thank you for your time and your comments. I wanted to see if can clarify for you and perhaps help the issue you repeated about the cursor. What type of device are you using where the cursor is sensitive? Have you tried not to use your cursor or mouse while in the Kickerv screen or forms and use the TAB key more? If you cursor is moving around fast you can adjust that speed from your laptop if that is what you are using. Here, this may help: Open Mouse Properties by clicking the Start button The Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type mouse, and then click Mouse. Click the Buttons tab, and then do any of the following: To swap the functions of the right and left mouse buttons, under Button configuration, select the Switch primary and secondary buttons check box. To change how quickly you must click the buttons to perform a double-click, under Double-click speed, move the Speed slider toward Slow or Fast.

Overall, I like Kickserv. I rely on it for my business, and the product continues to improve.

Pros: Their web site when used on a desktop computer is great for scheduling and dispatching. We use it throughout the day to line up jobs for our technicians. Previously existing customers are easy to find using their search feature. I can add a new job, and then click a button and it sends the technician a text message with the job description and address. The technician can click on the address link and get the GPS coordinates on their smart phone. The workflow is logical and consistent. When things go wrong, they are good about communicating what is happening.

Cons: We are really only able to use part of the service. While it is excellent for scheduling, it is not useful for invoicing unless your invoicing needs are very basic. The product is not compatible with Quick Books groups. I don't use their mobile app. I prefer their mobile web site, but recent changes have made their mobile site less useful. Their server sometimes gets overloaded and the software becomes unresponsive. Tech support is inconsistent. Sometimes very helpful. Sometimes condescending. If a customer has an email address, it will automatically send this customer a reminder notice. There is no way to turn this feature on or off. For recurring jobs where we go back to the customer again and again, this is a problem because we don't always schedule the customer on the same day every month. It also gives the customer a link to the customer account center, which we also do not use, since we are unable to use Kickserv's invoicing feature.

While Kickserv continues to make improvements to the service, I frequently find myself frustrated because improvements are often not fully tested, resulting in unpleasant side effects. Example - recent formatting changes have made the scrollable area of their mobile web site very small and difficult to work with. Another change awhile back formatted all of my old customer data in such a way that their addresses would fail to appear in the text messages sent to my technicians. I am having to manually change all of these.

Overall: It helps me manage four irrigation service technicians and keep them going where they need to go.

Kickserv is a great app that I have used for my Piano Service Company.

Pros: All inclusive connectivity of all the data needed to run my (Piano Service) business. I consider myself a fairly expert user of kickserv, using it from its early inception, then called ' Service Sidekick'. I am totally on board to help bring it to its fullest potential, so dont take the cons section too hard...I use the system every day, all through the day, and my entire operation depends on this most awesome application.

Cons: Software is gradually degrading. Latest update published makes KS sluggish, screen freezes constantly during scrolling. Reports have been altered to the point of useless.
Quadruple redundant data entry, creating and closing an event, then a job.
No auto fill on repeated fields.
Phone numbers require dashes be entered. Format the field for straight 10 digit entry.
Area code, city, and state are almost always the same in my service area. Why dont these fields hold and auto fill the last data entered? Internet standard these days is that the state is a 'state' field, only accepting 2 CAP characters in verified state identifiers.
No notification if email is successful, and no notice when messages fail. This has caught me with my pants down with customers...( yes customers, not contacts) emailing time sensitive invoices and opportunitys.... guys, they are ESTIMATES, Not opportunitys!!
Stripe send a payment received email notification...Awesome.
The text is the problem. First words of auto generated notification says Congratulations!.
Congratulations? We are small businesses....we take money, every day, all day. It is inapropriate, and smacks of a Condesending viewpoint.

Miss labled fields: My customers are my 'customers' , not my 'contacts'. New address verify is great on service address, Why does it not verify billing address? Getting paid is a very important aspect of small business. Makes no sense.

Hello Scott, We agree that April and May were not good months for Kickserv. We are so very sorry. We did correct the couple of issues that were inherited from the massive migration of hundreds of original customers from our legacy platform. We regret not anticipating those issues prior. I would like to clarify some points you made: 1. We do not require dashes in phone numbers fields. 2. We do indicate if an email has failed in your Dashboard > email activity page. 3. Opportunities is a way to make our program more applicable to more people. When you do send out the template it does say estimate. We can help you with how it looks if you need something custom. Let me know. 4. Regarding your comment about the billing address, typically we are not verifying the address so much as we are just indicating on the map where that service address located for routing purposes and driving instructions.

Pros: i like the fact that we can use it on multiple devices. the newest thing is entering the address. it automatically pulls up info based on web searches.

Cons: 1. i'd like to see is multiple reminder entries. there have been a few instances where a caller has called in a few times and i put in a second reminder but it doesn't always show the 1st reminder (or initial call) i have learned now to take a second step and jot it in the notes section. 2. when i do put in a second reminder on the same customer, it doesnt show up at the top of the list, so if i dont physically write it down (cause i sometimes go straight to kickserv when on a call) i sometimes forget who i just talked to. 3. ive been having issues for months now syncing with quickbooks, and all i get is we undergoing a software update.

Pros: It's easy to use and it looks very professional to customers when they view estimates, invoices, etc. The customer portal was a great selling feature for customers with multiple properties.

Cons: Frequent server downtime causes costly and frustrating downtime for office/field staff. Customer service isn't the most responsive, and one request took 4 months to get an answer. Custom templates sound like a great feature, but they don't respond very well within the program and are difficult to create. Mobile app is buggy and practically unusable.

Overall: More efficient work flow management from estimate to invoice.

Awesome daily management and dispatching.

Pros: Web based simplicity. Does generally most everything we need. It's mobile accessible (with apps). Has GPS but needs constant tracking. Has API.

Cons: Could use some more customization options in lead form, equipment scheduling, work type colors, more system defaults, etc. Some inconsistent workflows across desktop and mobile. Mobile Sync issues and workflow improvements. Can use more user feedback and contextual information in the right places. Native apps and limited api.

Overall: Fairly mobile agile job management. Online payments. Quickbooks integration.

It's almost perfect for our needs if recurring feature was properly implemented.

Pros: Auto emails and text reminders are most important even though it's not implemented properly. Message size is incompatible with wireless networks.

Cons: Recurring jobs feature is a lifeline of our business and it's so poorly implemented. I had provided details of what's wrong and what can be done for quickly fixing it but it's been 2+ years and I am still waiting. My office staff hates this software and it's waiting on me to find a better alternative or build it inhouse.

Pros: I love the intuitive layout and design of Kickserv. It's very easy to navigate, and extremely easy to train new users on.

Cons: It lacks some basic functionality you'll find with other SaaS Field Service software out there. The API is not reliable or robust for anything more than very simple queries. No webhooks. Very limited notification capabilities. No good dashboard.

Overall: Ease of use and a great price

Work ok for us but loads slow, when editing multiple appointments lags, crashes too

Pros: Creates an easy to use platform to manage hectic schedules and clients. Prior to finding the little ninja guy I was losing my mind trying to keep things organized.

Pros: When it works, the ease of adding appointments and new contacts.

Cons: The fact that it stops working frequently. We are really hoping that ends soon or we may have to go with a different program. Also, we used to be able to change addresses that were synced over from QB, but as of a month or so ago, we can't. Which makes things very difficult and we have to jump through hoops.

Pros: Its versatility. It does a lot of features and the cost is very affordable. It has become usable with a tablet in the field which we hope to use, once we get all of these kinks worked out from upgrading.

Cons: I have enjoyed the app, but support , in my opinion is not timely.
The flow is very difficult.
Needs a contact block for when a business is the customer.

Overall: Information on customers and jobs that my accounting software doesn't have fields for.

Pros: I like the price point, I like that there is relatively little down time. And I like some of the features the software has

Cons: There are several complaints that I have had from day one. First the reporting is terrible, building a report is often a trial and error endeavor. Even after successfully building a report there are time that it just breaks. Seeing the "Ah, Nuts we'll ninja the heck out of that error" leaves me with nightmares. There are simple reports that should come standard that every business should use. Other than the reports, I find that the software was built to fit many businesses which make sense; however, it makes it harder for my specific business to work with a higher functionality. I cant attach cars to work orders instead I have to print it out and highlight it for my guys. There are other issues like this.

Overall: It has helped me keep track of customers but painfully so. The only reason I have not switched is because I do not have the time to learn a new program. If all of my complaints are resolved before I have the time to implement a new program I will stay; however, service has yet to make me someone who will recommend people or be loyal to this program.

I think you put a product out that has NOT been throughly beta tested.

Cons: When it works. The app is horrible. But, everyone know that already. You really need to hire outside help to figure out how to permanently fix it once and for all. I have put in numerous requests and have even had Customer support representative
out to my house to discuss the problems. He left with a punch list of about 14 things none of which have been fixed to my knowledge.

Overall: When it work it is great, however I have been on the new system for about six months and it still is not working properly.

Went to customer's place of business and met with him one-on-one. We spoke for a couple of hours on what the issues were. We found some issues that were certainly areas that I made a list of to get addressed by my product manage as well as fixed by the development team. We also discovered a couple processes that were being done incorrectly and I did my best to clear those steps up with the owner of this business as well as his lead field tech.

Hate this new layout. It is very confusing and seems to take too many steps.
