Pros: For years now I have come to know one thing. If you consistently work with multiple systems there are going to be times when you can't find something only for it to be on another system. For this reason Teamviewer is an awesome software. I have been using Teamviewer since 2011 and its uses far out scope its cost. Its free for non-business use and the features for business are great.

The most awesome thing is that you don't even need to install their software to help someone. They only need to download and run the install as software. This makes it easy to remotely use access any computer and assist friends and family. If you choose to install you can configure unattended access which keeps your system online and makes remotely connecting as simple as clicking on the remote pc's name. The VPN service make it possible to network via the cloud and share network services. Finally it can also be use for conferencing and remote presentations which can save time for those who work on the move like myself.

The most recent update have added a host of security features ensuring that your account is protected from unauthorised logins and usage. This was a well needed addition given the nature of the software.

Cons: Account Authorization can become tedious as you will need to authorise every new computer you wish to access your services from. Also their is no message or warning (as of review) that shows that your login is block by this feature.

They use to have a web browser service but its no longer available and I do miss that feature.

Overall: Teamviewer key features are VPN, Remote Desktop, Web Conferencing.

Pros: I like that it is a very simple software to use, it is easy to configure to take remote control. The remote file manager is simple. It allows access to computers even if they are blocked in their respective systems sessions in Windows. I like that I can configure a unique password for connections in the free version. I have been able to control equipment from my iphone, since the version of this program on iOS works very well, it is very stable. The stability of the application in general is enviable. I also like that it is easy to recognize when you are in the remote session and when you are in the local session. It is possible to chat through the tool, which facilitates the assistance process just as you can talk to the user using the same software. There is a record of the connections made, which gives security when using it. Additionally, it works very well for remote "training" since the remote application management from the local session is absolute. It has a very effective reconnection process when the connection is lost -for example when we connect a network cable and were connected by WIFI-. The sending of key combinations, are very useful and varied, I have worked very well.

Cons: I do not like much of the operation of the file manager, when you take control from a windows to a mac, it can be confusing because it does not look the same as the target platform. I have not seen a GPO - at least not easily - that allows us to define in what equipment and sessions it is installed and allowed, when we are using it in an active directory environment. I have noticed that it asks for a new version, to be able to make the connections and this can be a problem, because normally it asks for them when we are going to make the connection, instead of being automatically updating the software.

Overall: I have managed to help many colleagues and friends remotely. Some in other countries, just use teamviewer. This saves costs and improves the experience of our coworkers and makes us more effective as an organization.

Pros: What I like about TeamViewer is the great speed it has when making the remote access connection, the quality of the video it has is quite interesting and has a nice color quality that greatly improves the customer's view, speed with which the shared video works, it is quite good because it does not matter if you own a computer with low resources, in the same way the program will go smoothly and with excellent quality. I really like the interface that this program has, since it is compact, organizes all its characteristics and factors very well and organizes the remote connection and conferences very well.

Cons: TeamViewer is a pretty good software that gives the best quality and speed of video to its clients, but nevertheless, it has neglected the area of file transfer, remote access is characterized by communication, remote management and successful transfer of the files, and since they have made a lot of dedication to the remote connection, they have neglected the transfer of files without knowing that this factor is the most important of all because it facilitates in an excellent way the sending of information through a shared network, if TeamViewer It makes a considerable amount of improvements to this factor, this software would be the best in remote access.

Overall: This software has benefited me a lot because I have managed to maintain a remote connection with all the employees of my company and in this way share necessary information for all of them, I have also been able to make several conferences with many owners of companies abroad, and thus be able to perform contracts and agreements without having to move from my place of work

Pros: Teamviewer was one of the first remote control software suites I used that gave me an easy way to transfer files to the system I was working on. This was invaluable because it saved me from trying to download various file cleaners and virus removal tools to an infected system that had a non-functional browser. The corporate editions added further abilities for an administrator to manage the systems across a corporation and configure security policies for the clients. Then, they decided to change their business model.

Cons: Their current pricing and business model changed and now the program constantly reminds you that you are running on an outdated version of the software and you should update. The problem is, about 3 months after we purchased the software they released version 11. The upgrade charge to version 11 was almost as much as what we just paid for version 10. Shortly after that, version 12 came out, and then they moved to their current subscription model. Software changes and upgrades happen, I get it, but don't try to force the updates on your current users or cause popups to come up in the client so users inadvertently upgrade themselves to the newest version, causing their system to be inaccessible (because they weren't backwards compatible). Sprinkle in system outages on the Teamviewer network that cause my devices across my corporation to be inaccessible and I'm done. There are other options with the same functions for less out there now.

Team Viewer works as a screen sharing program for institutions but is tricky to navigate for users.

Pros: I like that Team Viewer has free and paid options for users versus enterprise, it ensures that you have a quality product, but does not then price-gouge the occasional user. Team Viewer is a great alternative for screen sharing when you are able to have the time to figure out the tools, or have an IT Staff who are able to set it up for you and then train you for a simple navigation. I have had good success with companies contacting me through Team Viewer, but never in the other direction.

Cons: There are several things I did not like about Team Viewer. First, Team Viewer is very clunky to use. In terms of just setting up an account, there were steps that we (me and IT) did online and on the application, which also duplicated themselves. There were authorizations that seemed unnecessary. After downloading, the launched application still had to "okay" the computer, with further steps authorizing the machine through email, which were already done as part of setup. We acquired Team Viewer to share a work machine and a personal machine, with the personal account being the initiating account on the work machine, and the work account being the recipient. Due to, as Support said, too many similar characters in the two emails, they were flagged as being from the same organization even though the domains were completely different. Even with support, the issue was not resolvable. The screen sharing is extremely slow on a fairly open (no one was working) 300 mg pipe, which flies for everything else. In the end, we decided it was easier to work with two work machines for what we were trying to do, acquired a few external HDs and just used Remote Desktop. I have had success with other companies contacting me through Team Viewer, but have never been able to initiate back to them. Again, despite supports help, it is like my account is "flagged" to always be from organization to organization with little hope of resolution.

Overall: For within an organization, the product is great for screen sharing, but outside it is just clunky.

Pros: I love the functionality and features that TeamViewer offers. I have installed it on different family member's computers so I can remote in and offer them assistance whenever necessary. I can see when their computer is on or off. I can log in when they aren't using it and perform maintenance when necessary.

I also love being able to access my home computers, home servers, and laptop wherever I am it. I can even gain access using my cell phone for those "emergency situations". Cell phone use is not great, but can get you by in a pinch when someone needs help on something simple.

I love the feature set available when you are logged in. Passing key combinations to the remote computer, changing screen resolution, chat, and lots of other items are amazing to have. I like that I can simply disconnect and know that the remote computer will get locked automatically.

Cons: I don't like that I can't remote into a computer behind the scenes. If I am at work and I remote into my home computer, anyone sitting at my desk will see what I am doing. There is no way to hide my actions or work behind a locked screen. I really want the ability to do that when the case calls for it.

The software is not easy to setup nor is it intuitive. Make one wrong move and you could end up paying for something you don't really want. The UI is not that great, but once you have it figured out, it's pretty easy to control.

We use this software to provide remote support to our users and customers on multiple platforms.

Pros: I like that it works on any OS platform. I've proven that it works very well from your iOS APP with desktop computers, to provide good support. I've noticed that in that use, it does not consume a lot of mobile data and does not demand large amounts of mobile resources. In the desktop application, I like that it is very easy to use, it is easy to explain to the remote user that he should only open the application and indicate the ID and Password, after a few sessions, when the user asks for help, he already has it open and knows the data that we will ask. I like that I can place a personalized password to the teams which allows me to open the sessions remotely without intervention.

Cons: I have noticed that in the free version, when I connect to computers that are managed and I need to type the user and password of the administrator, the user appears, but to the one who is remotely, no. This makes it difficult to install applications, since you have to use a different procedure to install the applications. In the Windows version, the installation process should be very simple, as well as the option to indicate to the user that it is only a question of taking remote control and not of an installation that requires special permits. The internal chat must be more intuitive.

Overall: We have managed to help many of our internal clients in a fast and effective way.

Pros: I've used TeamViewer to remotely access both my own computer when I'm away and an office computer when I'm at home. I worked for a sole practitioner lawyer part-time for many years and he would get very frustrated when he couldn't figure something out on his computer, so I'd get a phone call or message, and I'd dial into his computer to fix the problem remotely. Sometimes in the evening he would leave work for me to remotely access up on his computer, and his computer on and not in standby mode, and I would log in and be able to work overnight on the things he'd left me during the day. I could also dial in and see whether he was playing Solitaire on his computer or actually working, as he could be easily distracted. There's file sharing and conferencing ability. And something else that was helpful - I could dial into my home computer and access the camera and see what was going on when I wasn't there. This was very helpful for me in discovering which roommate was stealing from me! The application has to be installed on both computers, so it's not like you use this program to hack other people's computers or anything like that. And there are settings permission controls on the accessed side which allows you to set up whether permission needs to be obtained for each access or if you have full authority. Very versatile and there's probably a lot more I could be doing with it, if I really thought about it, but it's great app and very useful for remote workers.

Cons: Actually, I can't really say anything negative about it. It does what it's supposed to do, and as I mention above, helpful in unexpected ways as well.

Pros: Teamviewer is one of the best remote desktop connections i have used for my company; One of the positive side is that its free!!, using the free version to connect to idle workstations to monitor system processes; Secondly, the security, have a token to login in to to a remote pc and be able to transfer file securely between two workstations; Third, to be able to make notes for clients when audio is at the best, i can open an application such as Notepad, and type some notes for the clients of what steps i am going to follow;Fourth, Teamviewer is accessible across all platforms such as a mobile version, windows, mac, linux and etc. In the mobile version, Teamviewer is very easy to navigate the mouse using my finger.

Cons: One of the downside is, the support i think Teamviewer's support is at the best since the customer reps lack the knowledge to the product. I wish they better trained thier ppl about the product and the common issues that come up using Teamviewer

Overall: The benefits of using Teamviewer is the security, ability to download Teamviewer across all platforms, the speed and reliability, easy of use, its free, and more importantly its one of the best remote desktop connections out there in the market. Teamviewer always make improvements in the product such as updates to fix any issues that come up. I recommend other users to use Teamviewer.

Pros: TeamViewer allows you to take remote control of equipment quickly, easily and efficiently using two types of communication methods. The first consists in taking remote control of a team by means of a dynamic IP and Password assigned by the same TeamViewer, thus guaranteeing a reliable and stable communication between the involved teams. This connection method is highly recommended for a temporary remote control. On the other hand, if a fixed remote control is desired on a team, TeamViewer offers a second method of connection that consists in the creation of an account on the page of this tool, allowing to establish communication with the desired equipment through the login of the user's account With this second method of connection, a fast and practical remote control over equipment that is used constantly is guaranteed.
In addition, TeamViewer allows the transfer of files between the involved teams, it also offers the option of transferring quick commands between the teams, which facilitates the user's remote maintenance and support.
The installation of TeamViewer is light, does not take up much memory space for all the functions it offers, including administration and backups that can be done between computers.

Cons: TeamViewer communication between teams is unstable in case of using the communication method with IP and Dynamic Password, because if communication with the Internet is lost, another password will be created automatically, blocking the previous connection.
It is not possible to use this tool without access to the internet.
The equipment remote control is limited to two connections.

Pros: Teamviewer is a fast remote control software and made remote administration easy. I have tried other remote control software and each have their own distinct issues but remote control, file transfer, and connectivity is fast.

Cons: During the trial period TV was seamless and connects to any client without any issues. After the version change, the same install would all of a sudden became problematic when connecting behind the firewall. I find it really strange that none of these issues are apparent during the trial but once we purchased the software and the version became older we started to experience connectivity with the remote hosts. It's really picky and we had to open up ports on the firewall even when it worked with the same configuration before.

Then software constantly nags about it being used illegally. We purchased a commercial license and it doesn't like when the remote host is running a full version of TV (even when running the same version number, eg. all version 11). We need to install a host version of the software instead of the full version for it to stop the nagging.

Overall: Ease of remote administration.

Pros: I love that I can even use the phone app to control my computer. I can access my files from anywhere and not have to move them from computer to computer. Plus, I update it in one place and the changes are there. No more multiple versions of the same file. I also use the remote control feature a lot to show end users how to perform specific tasks when I introduce new procedures or documents. It is far and above better than trying to verbally walk someone through something and both users operating blind. It has expedited tasks tenfold which frees me up to do other things. The meeting feature has become one of my newest to test and so far I have had positive responses all the way around!

Cons: Sometimes when I am using my mobile device I can experience a lag but it is hard to determine if that is because of TeamViewer or may be a connection issue. Otherwise, I don't really have a con, so to speak.

Overall: Remote access saves a tremendous amount of time driving from place to place, plus I can connect with people out of my general area, out of state, or even out of country and it is like we are all right in the room!

Pros: Makes collaboration very easy across multiple locations - cost efficient and straight forward. Allows you to remotely control, transfer documents, or even 'monitor' operations on various devices as long as everyone has stable internet connection! Easy solution for small business owner who doesn't have a big budget for collaboration tools, also has a trial period to test out the features. Lets you communicate through a small chat between devices.

Cons: Doesn't have an 'invisible' monitoring feature so that the remote device can't see what your doing/looking at, but it's not designed as a big brother monitoring tool anyways. Would be nice to have integration with video if needed for additional meeting features. If you don't have reliable internet connection, then connecting between devices is troublesome and sometimes a little slow.

Overall: Makes my job easier - I don't have to wait for other team members to email me documents or reports - I can access all my locations easily from any of my devices. Relatively straight forward for my team members that are not very tech-savvy while still having features for the advanced user.

Our organization's tech contractor has me use Team Viewer to connect daily to a computer remotely.

Pros: With only a few clicks, I've made an easy connection to a remote computer. The session box and action toolbar are easily hidden to get out of my way. It seems to have a lot of features, that if I learned them could be useful. I like the "Reboot" option, so I can easily, remotely Reboot the computer -- and Team Viewer gives me a pop-up box to tell me how that is working.

Cons: First, the disconnect X to close the Team Viewer session is in the same location (upper right corner of the screen) as any other windows X to close. So I often accidentally close my remote link when I only wanted to close a document!
Second, I cannot reset the size of my remote computer screen - it seems my email is in 6pt font. Recently, Team Viewer offered an upgrade that changed so much of how I see my remote computer screen. I get an increase in size but is not viewable correctly (text runs off the screen, so I need to scroll to see it). I reverted back to the older version, because the scrolling was disruptive.

Overall: I am able to connect to my remote computer without having much technical knowledge/experience.

Pros: We like Teamviewer due to many reason. Firstly, it is secure, your sessions are always encrypted AND it had 2 factor authentication. Secondly, it is fast, so what you see is exactly what the other person does without any lag. Third, it is reliable. I want to know that when i need to get onto a computer to support the end user or do maintenance, teamviewer will be running and that i can get on to the computer. Four, it has clipboard copying and file transfer. Five, you can add all your computer to your account so you don't need to remember hundreds of Teamviewer ID's and shows when computers are offline and offline.

Cons: I don't like the new pricing Teamviewer has used on Teamviewer 13. It used to be that if you purchased the version, you can continue to use it forever as long as you stay on that version. (Teamviewer 12 can log in to a computer running Teamviewer 12). With 13, now they are trying to do a subcription based license so you HAVE to renew every year to continue using Teamviewer.

Overall: Fast, Secure and Reliable remote support.

Pros: There isn't much NOT to love about TeamViewer - it is truly one of the most well thought and laid out remote assistance programs I've ever used. If I had to narrow down some favorites I would have to say that the speed/ease of which a client can be connected AND the ability to log into my saved systems from my account are my favorite features. Obviously when someone is having a problem, the last thing they need to go through is an overly complicated connection process. TeamViewer makes it very fast and easy to get loaded and connected with your client. I operate off several desktops in my office, each with TeamViewer on them, and I love the fact that my saved systems are only a single click away AND are updated across all my systems.

Cons: As I'm sure is the same for everyone, the price is what always kills me with TeamViewer. There are so many great remote support applications out there, and inevitably I always have a few customers a month that can't get running on one or the other for some reason - so maintaining 2 different subscriptions to 2 different remote support applications (minimum) is a must for anyone serious about client help. The high cost of TeamViewer is the single biggest issue I have with them. Their software is great, no doubt, but at that price I always question it.

Overall: Nearly flawless remote support connections to clients.

Pros: i have been using this software for debugging issue with customers via desktop sharing and taking control of customer desktop. it works good i can send or receive the files as much size as i wanted and didn't face any issue with respect to file size to be shared till now. Sometime it become slow(desktop sharing) but if you have good internet connection then you might see this issue. it is easy to use also free versions are available. it is secure and sessions are always encrypted. We can add all our computer to our account so we don't need to remember Teamviewer ID's and shows when computers are offline and online. It is also available as an APP( i am using on Android).

Cons: Price is high making it an expensive buy that many companies cannot justify also it is little heavy software in terms of resource usage on your machine as compared to other software in the same category which in turns can make your other task slow running on your machine. otherwise its a good to go with.

Pros: You are able to assign computers to your login id, making remote access quick and easy as well as secure (multi-factor authentication, can set up passwords to gain remote access, etc). Furthermore, you can record your session, pop out the monitors of the remote computer if you have a similar number of screens, and, lastly, their app is very well made. Regarding the app, the UI is both simple and surprisingly functional. This is the only remote connect app that has allowed me to easily perform tasks on a remote computer. As an extra bonus, there is a TeamViewer quick support app which allows you to access your phone from your computer which is sometimes handy.

Cons: The price is high making it an expense that many companies cannot justify. Also, TeamViewer is a bit heavier than other products in terms of the computing resources it requires (i.e. requires more of your computer's processing power than other remote connect options which can slow down your other tasks).

Pros: TeamViewer is a great remote desktop (RDP) tool that works well on Mac and Windows. We have used it for some time now and find it to be a great tool for remote desktop management and web conferencing. - TeamViewer is great to remotely log into a desktop anywhere in the world as long as you have the login credentials - TeamViewer has an easy to set up process and you can be logged into a host pc within minutes once you pass the learning curve. All you have to do is enter the credentials of the host PC and you are in. - TeamViewer's web conferencing feature is also great as you can decide which "side" is in control of the screen, allowing easier access to both parties. - The chat feature also works great when used in conjunction with the remote desktop feature, especially when training someone or providing support for a specific problem. All in all, TeamViewer is a product that is best for IT support staff and those who do a lot of remote desktop management. It works well for occasional use as well.

Cons: While TeamViewer is generally good overall, there are some flaws about it that you should consider: - Host to Client connection can be very slow at times even when both sides have a fast internet connection. - Losing client connectivity can be an issue as the screen just freezes up and you may not see any indication that there is a connection issue. - If you are using the Personal version of the app, there are limitations on what you can do, and the pricing for a Corporate license doesn't justify itself unless you provide IT support on a full time basis.

Comments: There have been general qualms about pricing from our company internally as well as the community at large. But let me tell you: it is worth the money. We purchased TeamViewer licenses which were a one-time fee, but today TeamViewer offers monthly subscription pricing which may be better for small businesses without a lot of cash. I have used LogMeIn, VNC, etc. and TeamViewer is the best!

Pros: - True "console" access to a remote machine with absolute simplicity; no other tool can come close - Feature rich: file transfer, chat, drop-dead simple session recording, easy monitor switching - Multiple users can connect to a remote computer at once - You can customize/brand the installation with your own logo, etc.

Cons: - Upfront pricing is a little steep for commercial use - There is a user session ID which is useless to me, it doesn't work when the remote user logs out, TeamViewer should just provide the console ID by default - Intermittent connectivity errors with little explanation, but these have become less and less common over time

Pros: This product simply works great! The tools built-in to help work on the remote computer are great. We also love the built-in chat feature. It really helps when I need the client to enter a password or perform a task. On the rare occasion that we are unable to connect to due to an internet issue, we're forced to walk our client step-by-step through the troubleshooting process, which reminds us how crucial this program is to our department and company as a whole.

Cons: From time to time the connection can lag, freeze, or drop. It rarely happens and isn't much of a lag but there's not a whole lot of things I can say are a "con" so I figured I'd mention it.

Overall: Trying to remotely troubleshoot our clients PC and/or network issues can be a challenge but this product makes it 100 times easier. We work with many different operating systems so us being able to remote in to find the solution ourselves versus having to try and walk them though it, makes all the difference in the world.

Pros: We use Teamviewer to log onto servers maintained by us, and to provide remote support for customers. The simplicity of connecting, and the power of the remote viewer once you are connected are a huge advantage.
Using a customised support client, which the user can download from our website, we can be on the customer's device and helping them in seconds. Once on, the ability to see all of their screens, upload and download software and maintain full control allows us to support them effectively.
For server connections, the ability to have a library of server details saved, so we can connect easily is a huge boon.

Cons: The price per connection is fairly high, but you get a good service for that. It can sometimes be a pain to get a connection from a customer PC behind a firewall, however you can usually talk the person at the other end through setting it up easily.

Pros: TeamViewer provides a reliable secure connection to screen share, host online meetings, and control pc from remote locations. It even includes a mobile app. The software downloads and installs quickly. It does not create a lag in the system or hog bandwidth when running. TeamViewer also offers a free version for private use that is wonderful to use to problem solve computer issues for grandparents or parents. It can be used for students to work on projects and many more applications. One of my favorite features is the ability to create a login and save your devices. This feature makes TeamViewer my go-to program for online screen sharing.

Cons: While TeamViewer is a wonderful program, installation can be a little confusing. There are multiple versions available, making it difficult for novice computer users to understand what exactly to download. As well, there are different tiers in each release which adds to the confusion. Once installed the user must also identify their username and password in order to confirm the share screen. Another con is when using the phone app it is hard to zoom in to see the areas of the screen.

Overall: I was able to consistently troubleshoot an entire office from my couch saving gas and parking fees.

Pros: Product works great and does exactly what it should do. License structure got fixed and makes a lot more sense now compared to two years ago.

Cons: We wanted to switch to the new license structure but the Support during this switch was with the right intentions but consistently frustrating.

Frustrating experiences:
- I did not get replies to several Emails.
- Replies to Emails were consistently not sent as reply on my Email but as new Email.
- Replies were consistently not sent to my address but to other Email addresses not managed by me.
- The replies were consistently not addressing me but another person not involved in the conversation consistently (After 5+ contact moments in a couple of weeks)
- Agent did not take ownership for decision but blamed his/her boss.
- When calling I feel like I have to press sales to get someone on the phone, pressing Support does not get me help.

Pros: It is the most reliable remote desktop solution I have ever used.

Cons: The price.

Overall: I'll start out by saying that I have used several different remote desktop solutions over the last several years and have watched them evolve. I have used them to access personal computers and also for business, so this is one review I feel the most qualified to write.

What I will say about Teamviewer is that it is expensive (free version is great, but has limited LEGAL use - thanks for trusting your customers, TeamViewer). If you can handle the large upfront fee, great, but it wasn't practical for me when I needed to finally invest in a solution.

With that said, I will also say that TeamViewer has bee the most reliable solution I have worked on. It runs almost flawlessly, is rarely interrupted, doesn't lag, even on slower internet connections, and runs quietly in the background, always prepared to be used. And depending on how you are using it, that is potentially invaluable.

As an accountant, I have had to access client desktops to help remote clients with training, troubleshooting, etc. Reliable software makes a great impact on customer service! TeamViewer ensures your customer service will rock and it has great options to choose between unattended access or requiring end-user permission, so clients can feel safe that you are accessing their computer only with their consent.

Overall, I would recommend team viewer free for personal use and teamviewer business for business use if you can handle the large up-front (but one time, I believe) fee.

Pros:
Using this software for debugging issue with customers and technician via desktop sharing and controlling their desktop. Can send or receive the files of bigger size as well as much i wanted and didn't face any issue with respect to file size to be shared till now. Sometime it respond slow while desktop sharing i think this can be easily fix with a high speed internet connection such as in my case it works. Easy to use, available in free versions, secure and sessions are always encrypted.Contacts can be added to our account so we don't need to remember Teamviewer ID's and shows when computers are offline and online. It is also available as an APP( i am using on Android).

Cons: Price are high comparative to others software in the same category. Heavy software in terms of resource usages and that makes your PC sometimes slow.

Pros: The best part of teamviewer is its remote desktop control. This is a great program whether you chose to use it in a professional setting, personal setting, or both. I've used it on a personal level when I need to help my parents with a computer issue or I need someone else to help me. It's so much easier to just fix a parent's computer problem by taking control of their laptop instead of explaining the issue to them over the phone. In the workplace it's great because if I ever need IT support the service center can quickly access my device and remedy the issue. I'll also use the program with co-workers if they aren't in the office so I can show them cool software tricks or help them with other program issues they might be having.

Cons: No real complaints, I find it fairly straightforward and user friendly. The only con is that if your internet connection or your peers internet connection is poor, the shared screen will be very blurry. This is expected, but it can be frustrating if you're giving a presentation from your computer or trying to get IT help. Also, and this might be obvious, but make sure not to give someone remote access to your desktop that you don't know!

Pros: You can work with multiple systems. The application is rich in features. You can conduct remote presentations, video conferences, chats incorporating screen sharing and whiteboard tools at a great speed. The service desk integration helps users in the management of their tickets. You can control the remote system and its printers from your mobile. The user interface is very compact and organized. Allows creation of demonstrations and provide interactive training to your team members. You also can check and monitor the health of your machine. The installation and linking process is very simple. It is compatible with almost all devices.

Cons: The team viewer client wouldn't start at times. Default printing options are absent. You can¿t import bulk files. The customer service takes quite a lot of time to answer queries.

Pros: Working in a support department and needing to control the end-user's machine quite often, TeamViewer is a dream come true.
We tried many alternatives. None offer the options, ease of use, stability and especially speed of TeamViewer.
Session recording, switching screens on a multi-monitor setup, remotely rebooting (and automatically reconnecting afterwards!), you name it, TeamViewer does it. Sometimes you almost forget you aren't working on your own local machine.
Brilliant product, really.

Cons: The prices are quite fair for what you get, but still somewhat high. This, combined with the release cycles sometimes coming rather quickly, means we're not always immediately updating / paying for the latest version update.

When you then fall behind a version or two, you get the inevitable customer who didn't open your QuickSupport app, but downloaded Teamviewer from the official website. Cue the dreaded "Your partner is using a newer version of TeamViewer" error message. Asking the customer to close their TeamViewer application and to download your QuickSupport app can be a bit cumbersome at times.

Overall: TeamViewer allows for full control of a remote device with close to 0 need for setup.

Pros: Allows for remote Support or connection allowing someone else to use your computer thereby saving them and you the cost of the trip to be onsite. Has many options that are not always apparent to allow others to log in remotely with out your explicit consent. While this is actually a feature of the software and promoted as such it's never sat right with me for use on any computer that isn't made for a specific kind of use. While this software is the go to application for a reason the need to actually use it i fand can just as easily be accomplished by something like Google Hangouts or Skype with your desktop being displayed. Very useful for onsite service situations where an engineer needs to connect and help to which ever machine or network in question, but for personal use it's simply not built for this and thus leaves to many open ended questions

Cons: Allows for remote Support or connection allowing someone else to use your computer. Has many options that are not always apparent to allow others to log in remotely without your explicit consent. Has many default settings which i found to not put my security and informations privacy as a top priority.

Pros: I likely cannot offer high enough praises for this piece of software. It is something I use every day for both personal and business applications. It can be used for remote tech support, file sharing, cloud computing, or even administration. I have tried almost every remote computing solution and come back to teamviewer every time. It simply cannot be beat for speed, quality, and reliability. It is perfect for me and my team.

Cons: This is the hardest part of this review. Trying to find a con with teamviewer is like looking for a nitpick in a hay stack. I would say that its only con is that sometimes it needs a reboot before it will work. This happens so sparsely though that I only offer it up because of a need for a con.

Overall: Both personally and professionally teamviewer is both the only option you need and should use.

Pros: This software allows me to create a list of my most "frequent" clients/machines and save them for easier connection down the road. Then all they have to do is provide me with their PIN and not the entire Client ID. Once connected the quality of the remote session is unbelievable, I never have had issues with lagging or image quality. It also includes an awesome toolset including Chat, FileBox, and File sharing so I can remotely transfer files to a client machine without a remote session or have them choose to download them within a remote session.

Cons: The price is a little bit high in my opinion compared to other remote assistance services but the quality and feature set makes up for most of that.

Overall: Quick and painless connection with my clients to assist them with their technical support needs.

Pros: TeamViewer is a great software for quick access of any file that I did not save on the cloud and desperately need. I usually use it to manage my home computer when I am out (and when It is turned on, obviously). Furthermore, being an experienced user, occasionally I use it to help family and friends with PC issues that I am able to solve. I migrated to TeamViewer from LogMeIn Free, and I am completely comfortable and satisfied with it! The developers' policy about the free version of the software are very smart and generous. Based on it, I believe that most people that do use it for commercial purposes indeed invest in a paid license, as it worth each penny.

Cons: The nag screens on the free version sometimes bothers me, but I know that it is a minor issue for such a great software offered for free for non-commercial purposes. It is the way that developers found to sensibilize people about their need to make the software profitable to support their business and for further software improvement .

Overall: Easy and efficient access to files stored in computers that are not locally available, as well as to provide online support to other people experiencing PC issues.

Comments: TeamViewer is a very practical and easy to use software, it is a very good software for conferences and it has helped me to communicate with each of the employees in my company, providing them with help, suggestions and many other things.

Pros: What I like most about TeamViewer is remote access, I think TeamViewer has done a lot of work in perfecting the remote access features. Through this function, I can connect with anyone immediately regardless of the distance where I am located, just with a simple ID and Password, I would have the successful connection.

Cons: Conferences in TeamViewer are very bad and very poor video quality, even, the amount of network connection it occupies is enough, I would like TeamViewer to add a saving of data in the conference section, and improve the quality of video that they represent in each one of the conferences.

Pros: It is a good tool, it can be worked with different operating systems, the option of remote control with audio and microphone is good when working remotely with developers, this allows communication to flow better. It is very simple when you support functional users, because it is not complex to provide the information for the connection.

Cons: For the latest version of the application they removed many features that you could do with Linux environment. The commercial price is expensive, taking into account the amount of licenses you should acquire. The chat control with the user, is not Versatil. Your recovery after a disconnection is slow and in many cases is lost, therefore, you have to try again.

Overall: Significantly supports in streamlining the issue of support to users who are far away or in foreign offices.

Comments: Overall, this software is terrific. It is not cumbersome. It is a light and easy software to use for both sides. It handles video and voice calls easily. Grant only the access you want them to have, and I recommend NEVER to allow anyone to have Windows Sign On access for your own protection - even if it's a family member helping you.

Pros: clear screens no lagging switch sides with viewer easily send large file transfers easily from computer to computer great for shared screen training great for computer tech management Handles video and voice calls easily FREE for personal use and much more

Cons: The commercial price is expensive The initial learning curve for the novice is medium A few too many bells and whistles for the novice

Pros: With this PPP I support my clients, they sometimes do not have the computer skills or knowledge, but with this application, I have access to their computers, of course with the permission they give me when providing the password that the program gives, so I don't have to go to their offices to do something simple. I also use it to access the servers I have in the office, they are only CPU's without monitor or keyboard or mouse, I enter with Team Viewer and everything is ready!

Cons: LAG, LAG, always the LAG, if the clients' connection is not fast we have LAG... . . Of course it's a minor problem for this application, I fully understand the bandwidth usage as we are looking at the other person's full screen. I like the application and this is not a handicap.

Pros: Its main feature is to allow easy remote connection through a user ID and password which varies from one user to another, thus ensuring a connection without major problems.
Additionally it allows the easy management and transfer of files between computers.
With a simple and quite friendly desing, it allows easy interaction between the application and the user.
Undoubtedly one of the indispensable tools when it comes to remotely support other users who require it.

Cons: One of the main negative points that this application can have, is how limited is the remote connection time in his free version, since it force the disconnection of the session afeter approximately 10 minutes.
Anothe point that could be considered negative is the fact that it is an application that must be installed, perhaps having an application without installing it would give favorable points.

Overall: The easy interconnection when providing remote support to other users.

Pros: The Best RDP app ever I have used , This meets my all expectations .. Its really amazing to get connect to . client computer and show them the demo of our product very easily..Remote Desktop & Web Conferencing was major challenge in our business but when Team viewer came in our scenario, The Major challenge was solved so much easily. This have increased our overall throughput as well as increase in sale.In No Time Setup , We were ready to go .. This is really a innovation to classic remote access.. even now I can access client system from mobile as well in case I am out of office.. So I am always ready to Go.

Cons: It would be better if it provides a chat window between the partners, so that it becomes easy to communicate each other. The main drawback in this is, by using ID's and passwords, the system may registers all key-presses and clicks, which in-turn has a chance that our PC may gets hacked.

Comments: TeamViewer is my favorite free remote access program. It's filled with features you don't normally find in similar products, is very easy to use, and works on pretty much any device. All-In-One is the name of the full version of TeamViewer. It's absolutely free and is the program you need to install if you wish to set up a computer for constant remote access so you can always make a connection when you're away from it, otherwise known as unattended access. You can log in to your TeamViewer account in the All-In-One program so you can easily keep track of the remote computers you have access to. For instant, spontaneous support, you can use the program called QuickSupport. This version of TeamViewer is portable, so you can run it quickly and immediately capture the ID number so you can share it with someone else.

Pros: Completely free to use Supports chat (text, video, and voice over IP) Remote printing is allowed Supports Wake-on-LAN (WOL) No port forwarding configurations are necessary Spontaneous support Works with multiple monitors Portable version is available so no install is required Can control a remote computer through the desktop program, a mobile device, or an Internet browser

Cons: Cannot be used for free in commercial settings

Pros: TeamViewer is a fantastic application, which allows you to remotely control computers or devices anywhere, just obviously having internet and the active application on the destination computer, allowing you to manage it, work using the files and everything you normally do in front of the computer. It is very useful and the possibilities are infinite according to what you need to do, it also allows you to manage servers remotely since they are also computers, you can have a network of computers that you need to manage and be aware of and with this tool you will not need to do it. physical form, but leave the program active and you can enter when you want is fantastic.

Cons: The downside is the security breach that leaves the program, as it is a port open to any intruder, it should also be noted that if you use the computer and someone sees, he can steal the id and enter later, violating your privacy and security so you must use it with care.

Overall: Excellent to operate computers remotely, you can be anywhere I enter one or several computers far away from you, you can do everything and has no limitations, it is fantastic.

Comments: This application can be used to access your systems from anywhere in the world. Easy to install and use, and sometimes does not require installation. But you should be extremely careful with the use of this product, due to past identified security problems.

Pros: First of all, I would like to note its cross-platform Windows, Linux, MacOs, and the ability to use on mobile devices and their operating systems Android, Ios. Does not require installation, for example on Windows you can download the Portable version and use it even without installation. Pretty simple and intuitive user interface. There is support for video, voice and even text chat. Excellent quality of video image transmission tolerant to network data transfer rate drop. TeamViewer has such cool features as a transfer of control and drawing on the screen in real time. Nice I can use on systems with multiple monitors.

Cons: The free version has limited session time, and the free version is for private use only. Of course, it is much easier to install than the same VPN, but due to recent security problems, many companies have banned their users from using this product.

The UI for managing several machines means I can easily use it for work as well as troubleshooting problems remotely on other's computers.

Cons: Their licensing system is buggy. I've seen it incorrectly flag accounts as being used for commercial purposes, forcing the paid upgrade. You have to use a form on their site to fix it, and it can take a few weeks to get resolved.

Overall: I can be out without worrying about any work emergencies since I can still access my computer from anywhere.

Pros: Perhaps the most obvious feature of this software is the remote access to which computer equipment (PC, LINUX, MAC, IOS including Android), but in addition to this has other features such as online meetings, video conferencing and transferring files. It is fast and very stable.

Cons: Like most successful software, it has been severely hacked. For this reason they have seen the need to restrict their free use to a certain number of sessions (since the program detects the number of times we connect to a computer) and warns us about its use (applies only to the versions ).

Overall: The biggest benefit is and has been a stable software that can connect me effectively and efficiently with my clients in a secure way (RSA 1024 bits), and with the freedom and simplicity that the tool allows.

Pros: I LOVE being able to access my computer from my phone, no matter where I am! I have used it to help my Mom and Dad fix or even find things on their computers and even taught them how to do things by going on to their computer and showing them. Was as helpful as being there! Would be GREAT for Work, but I try to keep work and home time separate.

Cons: I have left the program open on a computer at someones house... and forgot to log out. About the only addition I can think of would be a timer to log you out automatically if not accessed in a chosen period of time

Overall: I have assisted my parents in using their computer on a number of occasions, using the Free Version. I have also downloaded/Transferred pictures and recipes to and from my parents a number of times

Pros: Team viewer was one of the first remote control applications I used for fixing my families pc's while im away from home. I like that its easy for someone to install it and I can tell someone that is not handy with computers to just go to the website and download the free version. After that I can help them remotely by just getting there ID and password. The ability to get the sound from the remote pc is also great when your troubleshooting sound cards on a oc.

Cons: Great tool for remote control, and there is not a bad thing I can say about it.The free version is limited to home use and the paid version you get more features like you can customize the client software to with your business name and logo.

Pros: In my work, Teamviewer has accomplished a remarkable job. Remote access is fundamental for the incorporation of new financial perspectives made by our research department, fully empowered to evaluate new visions and accounting perspectives worldwide.

It is also important to highlight the transfer of files with the highest security standards from this software, generating trust among the workers, the bosses and the network where they are interacting.

The displacement of technicians and staff from the research department to our headquarters to incorporate softwares and administrative tools is a thing of the past, since with Teamviewer, remote assistance is performed without mishaps, reducing the problem resolution time.

Cons: One of the percanses found in Teamviewer is that you can not do remote assistance on more than 2 computers, requiring the solvency of the technician to finish as quickly as possible the problem of only one of the PCs and then address the other partner's problems.

Overall: Teamviewer is one of the applications that I most recommend to companies. It is very practical and easy to use, does not require much knowledge in the computer area, and best of all, you save time, money and performance, to be able to perform remote assistance.

Pros: I can make a list of every computer in my company that I need to connect to. I can make a quick launch file that can be downloaded by whoever needs support, that includes my company logo, that also adds them to my remote control list. I can remote control mobile phones that are set up for it.

Cons: It's a little expensive if you don't qualify for the free version, and the cost doesn't get you free updates, or even a year of free updates. When I purchased my license an update came out a month later and I had to pay for that update to be able to use it. The newest version is subscription based and is still very expensive. I'll be staying on version 11.

Overall: Being able to give remote support to over 50 computers at the click of a button.
