It enables multi-professional team operations and information sharing can be done in real time and you don't have to use just one program. You can send a message to a colleague, call a customer and not have to type in a number - the program itself enables the smooth operation of apps on your phone. All essential information is carried safely and reliably and you don't have to use just one application at work.

Pros

I like that the system allows home care documentation just by typing in the necessary menus and it is also possible to add information to them by writing your own text. I don't know what the problem is when sometimes the menu covers the text field, so you can't see what to write in the text field and it's made it difficult to correct typos. I can't say if this is a general problem or just a bug in our system. I recommend that new employees be trained in the use of the system so that the nursing work itself runs on schedule, according to plan, so that practical nursing work runs smoothly and time is not wasted "fighting with the system". For the new user, retrieving information, recording information and multi-professional cooperation would run smoothly in a way that does not cause additional inconvenience to the client and nursing work can be done naturally, reliably and with professional skills, and the client would not have the impression that the nursing staff is not communicating, things are not progressing and the client can trust the person caring for them.

Cons

too many menus, finding the right information can be difficult, logging takes longer when you can't find a suitable option in the menus, and searching for a single item (the menu) is tedious and time-consuming. It would be good if there was a more structured logging form made specifically for our use.

My overall experience with EPIC is AMAZING, I seriously love using it and think it has changed the medical game.

Pros

I love epic and how easy it is to use, and you can customize your colors and the designs of your DAR report of patient's for the day. The Clinic practice moves so much easier with this software.

Cons

My least favorite thing is all of the updates we constantly get on EPIC, the updates are worse in my opinion.

My over all experience has been smooth, easy user friendly system keeping all medical software together in one place. Eliminates many different systems.

Pros

I really like EPIC it truly packs a lot of information and processing through A EHR system turning it a stream flow from the beginning at scheduling to finalizing claims and submitted statements to patients.

Overall, Epic is a powerful and reliable EHR system that delivers on performance and usability. It streamlines clinical workflows and helps staff stay organized and efficient. However, the high price point is a barrier for many practices. If budget is not a constraint, Epic is a solid choice for healthcare organizations looking for a dependable, fast, and user-friendly platform.

Pros

Epic stands out for its intuitive interface and fast performance. Despite being a feature-rich platform, it’s relatively easy to navigate once you’re familiar with the layout. The system loads quickly and handles large volumes of patient data without noticeable lag, which makes a real difference during busy clinic days.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the cost. Epic is one of the more expensive EHR solutions on the market, and for smaller practices, the licensing and implementation fees can be a significant financial burden. The value for money doesn’t always feel justified, especially when some features go underutilized.

Overall, my experience with Epic has been positive. It’s a powerful and reliable platform that effectively centralizes many aspects of healthcare operations, which helps improve organization and coordination. While there is a learning curve and some workflows can be time-consuming, the system becomes much more efficient with regular use. Its robust features, strong data management, and wide adoption across healthcare organizations make it a valuable tool despite some usability challenges.

Pros

What I liked most about Epic is how comprehensive and integrated the platform is. It brings together patient records, scheduling, billing, and communication in one place, which really streamlines workflows and reduces the need for multiple systems. The user interface is consistent across modules, and once you get familiar with it, it becomes very efficient to navigate. I also appreciate the strong reporting tools and the ability to customize certain features to fit different organizational needs.

Cons

What I liked least about Epic is that the system can feel overly complex and difficult to learn, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always intuitive, and it often takes significant training to become comfortable using it efficiently. Additionally, some workflows require too many clicks, which can slow down productivity. Customization options, while powerful, can also make the system inconsistent across different organizations, leading to confusion when switching environments.
