### "Epic very efficient "

April 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Epic has been positive. It’s a powerful and reliable platform that effectively centralizes many aspects of healthcare operations, which helps improve organization and coordination. While there is a learning curve and some workflows can be time-consuming, the system becomes much more efficient with regular use. Its robust features, strong data management, and wide adoption across healthcare organizations make it a valuable tool despite some usability challenges.

Pros

What I liked most about Epic is how comprehensive and integrated the platform is. It brings together patient records, scheduling, billing, and communication in one place, which really streamlines workflows and reduces the need for multiple systems. The user interface is consistent across modules, and once you get familiar with it, it becomes very efficient to navigate. I also appreciate the strong reporting tools and the ability to customize certain features to fit different organizational needs.

Cons

What I liked least about Epic is that the system can feel overly complex and difficult to learn, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always intuitive, and it often takes significant training to become comfortable using it efficiently. Additionally, some workflows require too many clicks, which can slow down productivity. Customization options, while powerful, can also make the system inconsistent across different organizations, leading to confusion when switching environments.

### "EPIC Review "

March 24, 2025

3.0

For serving a hospital of over 1,000 employees, it worked well. I had no issues with it but did come with a large learning curve.

Pros

This was for a large hospital practice and it absolutely served large massive customer bases. We were able to do cloud hosting, it was used with Epic Practice Management super easy, and had no issues with EMR charts.

Cons

Very expensive because it is used in such a large capacity.

### "Powerful and Easy to Use, But Comes at a Price"

April 18, 2026

5.0

Overall, Epic is a powerful and reliable EHR system that delivers on performance and usability. It streamlines clinical workflows and helps staff stay organized and efficient. However, the high price point is a barrier for many practices. If budget is not a constraint, Epic is a solid choice for healthcare organizations looking for a dependable, fast, and user-friendly platform.

Pros

Epic stands out for its intuitive interface and fast performance. Despite being a feature-rich platform, it’s relatively easy to navigate once you’re familiar with the layout. The system loads quickly and handles large volumes of patient data without noticeable lag, which makes a real difference during busy clinic days.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the cost. Epic is one of the more expensive EHR solutions on the market, and for smaller practices, the licensing and implementation fees can be a significant financial burden. The value for money doesn’t always feel justified, especially when some features go underutilized.

### "Best healthcare software"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, the experience was good. It is made to be an all-in-one software where referrals and records are easy.

Pros

I like how everything is included in epic, and other places use it so it is easy to see other records.

Cons

It is definitely made for bigger companies because cost is higher. Set up also takes a little while.

### "No complaints, it's a timesaver!"

January 22, 2026

5.0

Unlike other similar systems, Epic is super easy to set up and maintain. Patients can access their information easily from the clean interface, which saves a lot of time for the nurses and doctors.

Pros

The user-friendly design makes it easy to access medical records, upcoming appointments, prescription information, and ways to contact your doctor or nurse.

Cons

I have no complaints! Overall, I dislike the idea of having my information stored by 3rd parties, but so far I haven't had any issues.

### "Elegant Patient Interface"

March 29, 2026

4.0

Overall: good! Once patients are logged in, navigating the system is easy: adding data, contacting doctors.

Pros

Adding patient’s family medical history is the simplest I’ve ever seen in an online platform, which means patients are more likely to fully fill out the data.

Cons

It’s not always easy for patients to find the sign in portal. It doesn’t pop up via search engines, so clients need to save it.

### "Epic : Making work hundred times easier."

January 2, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Epic is great. I really like it and it suitable for larger organization. Work flows smoothly using Epic. It works really well after training. I hundred percent recommend epic to everyone.

Pros

My experience with epic have been wonderful. It works very easily once you know how to use it. It performs good for large hospitals or health-care facilities. Large and complex work management can be done using Epic. The customer service is also very responsive and helpful. Honestly, i have used Epic for four months and never faced any bugs and issues. It is good value for large hospitals and health-care facilities.

Cons

It does require training to use as it is little bit difficult to use in beginning. It is not made for small organization due to high cost.

### "EPIC is the Best EMR IMO"

April 15, 2025

5.0

Overall, EPIC is my favorite EMR. I have used AllScripts, WellSky, etc., in both my clinical and healthcare quality roles and found that EPIC was the best.

Pros

EPIC is probably the best EMR that I have used. I find the interfaces are intuitive. I do quality audits and I find that data I need to review is easy to locate in the EMR, it's location "makes sense." EPIC is probably the closest to a physical chart logistically for those of us who spent most of our career using paper charts.

Cons

The reporting side of EPIC is not as intuitive as the clincal/charting side. I'm a really good computer geek and I found that I had to reach out to support often when trying to build a report in EPIC.

Pros

Care everywhere helps to maintain a strong continuity of care for patients that are seen across multiple health systems. It benefits the patients to have all documentation in one platform to provide the best patient care.

Occasionally there is some information that I would like to customize in my own areas for ease of use when looking for patient information.

### "Great system for medical professionals "

June 30, 2025

5.0

I use EPIC in my job as a trauma data abstractor, so daily I am using this software. It holds all of the medical data I need and I can easily search for patients and the data I need.

Pros

Very easy to search and find medical info I need for my job. There is precise diagnosis and notes from providers which helps me clarify and misunderstanding I may have.

Cons

It does crash and freeze a lot. When I pull up documents it does time out pretty quick which can be a pain for me.

### "Big tool, deep pool "

May 20, 2025

5.0

Epic is big hospital beast, runs deep with all the tools but can drown you if you're not used to it.

Pros

Charts load full, I can check vitals, meds, labs, all stitched tight. Messaging the team or sending orders don’t take ten steps.

Cons

Login is a maze, pages stack too long, and searching past records means scroll-scroll-click-click. Not for quick coffee‑break use.
