Pros What I like most about this platform is that after uploading my video to the platform, I can easily publish it to a number of social media accounts. Youtube is THE (unwritten and unofficial) video website and the traffic on there absolutely smashes what I see on my Vimeo account. Pros In my opinion the personalisation of the channel page is brilliant, you can play around by embedding slide in order to make a sexy presentation of your body of work. I used it for awhile to host many of the videos from my Squarespace account. Like many products, I suggest trying the free trials of all the similar products until you find the one that best suits your work style. Pros Love that it can handle all forms of videos. You have a lot of storage if you use Vimeo Pro, which is a very reasonable price. It is a great place to hold all of your videos. Vimeo also works with many Website services, for example: Squarespace, so you can host your video through Vimeo. Cons The only thing I would worry about is that a lot of your audience may not use Vimeo. It has unlimited bandwidth, 4K, and HDR support. There are so many features you can have, like password-protected links or website control. You can also sell your videos. Cons I don't really like sometimes how the showcases are arranged. The interface isn't that intuitive in certain aspects, like the search button on the top that always confused me.
