Pros The video quality is awesome compared to Youtube also the audio is really good, you can customize and put your own branding on the website if you go pro, making your website not miss the identity it has, the interface is nice as well. You upload, edit and share. It's that simple. And if you are techy, then you can do a lot more. I am using the basic account because I don't really make long videos. Once I need to start making those, I would definitely stick with Vimeo. Cons I have only used this for a year in making short videos, but so far it hasn't disappointed me. Pros What I like most about Vimeo Pro is that I can look professional and customize the player like removing buttons and the Vimeo logo as well as being easy to use and giving me more insights from those who watched it. With large files it is often hard to share with clients, but vinemo pro gives enough space to both upload high quality video and give a sharable (and downloadable) link to clients. Cons The link sharing service is a little flawed, and I wish by giving a sharable link to someone that they could download the video without being made a "creator" on the dashboard. There are great features like end screen CTAs, etc. to get the most of your premium subscription. Pros We needed to switch to Vimeo from YouTube and haven't looked back since. It's a super clean UI and easy to navigate UX with tons of features. When watching documentaries shared online, they're often shared or streamed via Vimeo. I'm guessing that the audience for Vimeo is more for professionals, as opposed to the vlogger/influencer/home video content that Youtube has. Pros I found Vimeo when I was looking for an easy way to record something on my screen and it seemed as the easiest way. It is online tool, so It is not necessary to install anything into the laptop and the use is very simple. Cons Unfortunately, loading the recorded video is quite slow. I've even experienced my computer getting stuck and even losing the video. But that was just a one-off experience, most of the time it works fine. Vimeo provides a powerful, easy to use solution for sharing video content with our supporters. Cons While Vimeo is useful, they should offer more plan options for non-profits and schools. We hesitated to sign up with Vimeo because every penny counts for us.
