Their software has honestly changed how our City manages grants. Pros We are a local municipality and AmpliFund hit every one of our wishlist items. It is compatible with Oracle, we were able to customize almost everything, and we could use it for grant making and seeking. AmpliFund is a must-have tool for any organization that is managing a large amount of grants. It is user-friendly and the AmpliFund team is amazing! The implementation process was the smoothest process I have been involved in during my 10 years in local government. Cons Most everything is customizable, however there are some standard fields that cannot be removed. Cons Sometimes the system runs a little slow. The search feature is not user friendly. We found the Amplifund team to be committed to finding resolutions, committed to ensuring we understood the training and committed to our organization's satisfaction with the platform. Post-implementation that has not changed. Pros The tool's expense tracking portion was our organization's main selling point, but tracking goals has been an added benefit when writing grant reports. Cons In the beginning, the expense importing was a bit challenging because of the system limitations of our accounting software. Integrating that software with the grant management tool would greatly help this often time-consuming process. It is easier to run a report of active and pending grants and track annual grants over multiple years. Without AmpliFund, we were relying on spreadsheets and paper processes which took much longer and left too much room for error. The support staff of AmpliFund has been amazing and very responsive. Pros AmpliFund has allowed us to create a permanent grant record that multiple users can access. We depend on the workflow and tasking features to maintain compliance. This has allowed us to manage over 100 active grants with better consistency. Cons AmpliFund continues to build out their platform with more features. When we were building our grant management page, we had to conform to the template and then build out added features. This is helpful but isn't always the most user friendly for our departments to complete. Reasons for choosing AmpliFund Cost and ease of use. Our organizations Grants Department is small, and AmpliFund has helped us expand our capabilities without having to hire additional staff.
