Pros: Easy to use. Quickly get in and generate a proposal from a template. Can easily see what is active and how often the customer has looked at each page. Templates and the library are great tools for making new proposals go quicker.

Cons: Not great on mobile at all. Would like an option when making a change to a line item to save that in the library. Formatting can be frustrating at time with no way to really insert page breaks or line up items on a single page

Overall: Fast way to generate proposals. Can sort by sales person to make it easier to review only my proposals or find a team members. Search function has gotten much better and gives good results.

Once you know all the 'quirks' Proposable is reasonably serviceable.

Pros: The Proposable support team (and especially Gabe) is the best. They have always been very responsive.

Cons: In general, Proposable workflow is weak. The entire 'filing' system is confusing with little ability to search, auto-populate or sort effectively. Can't search by 'quote number.' Editing is not WYSIWYG. Pagination is haphazard.

Overall: A centralized repository of all of our quotes. Very attractive proposals.

Pros: I can make changes from any device and deliver electonically to my clients

you can save templates, upload photos for future use and share across the Team

Cons: The website interface takes a little bit of time to getting used to and I still have issues navigating sometimes

The software does what it is supposed to do. It delivers a multi-media, online proposal.

Pros: It makes the person sending the proposal look very professional. It's an enterprise level product that can be used by an indivdual, small or mid size business. Being able to incorporate multi-media, like video, without bloating someone's inbox is a definite plus.

Cons: Being able to easily mass upload client contact information is not easy, Only one format will work; and, all fields must be filled in apparently, even if you don't have the information. Creating an itemized invoice within the proposal is not very easy; and, the font changes, even when the master settings have been set.

Overall: The ROI is high; and, it separates us from our competitors.

Pros: I love the ability to store templates and the entire library of line items I have been able to create!

Cons: Sometimes there is a little glitch where when I add a photo to an estimate area and save it, it does not save the photo. Repeating once saves it properly. Also, if you have a REALLY large "page" in proposal, it can get a little laggy.

Pros: How it allows me to present my product professionally. I also like the read receipt which tells me when my client read it and how long they've been on it.

Cons: The cost of the product is my least favorite. I only use one template therefore its not providing as much value.

Overall: I do get to present my proposal professionally as it offers alot more information than my clients expected.

Pros: The software makes the creation of beautiful, compelling and actionable proposals a synch. Once created you can easily share with your clients and prospects and gain insight into their interactions with what you have created. What's not to love?

Cons: It is a bit glitchy, but overall it's great. Specifically it suffers from the issues that a lot of browser based document editors suffer from in that they are not perfect.

Overall: Helps me close deals, what else is there to say?

Pros: I love the constant updates in real time that it gives you. As a sales person, there are few things better than knowing a potential client is viewing your proposal. I love it!

Cons: The template options when creating a new proposal aren't the best, obviously every business is different and you can't create a template that will work for everyone, but I wish that it came with more prebuilt options for proposals.

Pros: i like that everything is built all into one solution. this makes life simple when tracking proposals signing etc...

Cons: The editing page is difficult to navigate and there should be a cleaner way of moving boxes from one section to the next. Also a suggestion would be if you could add very simple CRM features like tasks, calendar invite's etc.. that way if your a company like ours and dont neccesarily need a big CRM you can use your softweare exclusivly.

Pros: It allows me to send proposals from my own email address. It logs recipient view data. It looks nice.

Cons: It's not flexible enough. For instance, the text editor is rudimentary - you can't even indent. The pricing page does not allow you to move elements, change fonts, adjust font size, etc.. So unless you happen to share the same tastes and vision as the designers, there is going to be a notable and jarring disjuncture between the rest of your proposal and the pricing page. The owners are unresponsive to repeated requests to address this. A simple way to fix this, in my opinion, would be to break out the key data fields (e.g., "Grand Total") as Tags and allow the user to place them anywhere in the proposal. I have suggested this to the owners, but they do not seem interested, particularly. It would also be nice if there were freely definable Tags whose data could then be queried in Reports. As it currently stands, the Reports only query data fields that Proposable developers have decided are important. This contributes to the overall inflexibility. It would also be nice if were possible to place hyperlinks in the proposal to other pages of the document. The file management system is a bit laborious, too, for the user. For instance, if I want to print a PDF of a sent proposal, I need to click through a number of different pages to arrive at a non-intuitive cloud icon next to the URL for a given recipient. Why can't I just select the proposal checkbox and then click a "print PDF" command? Other folks in my company who have previewed Proposable actually make jokes about this!

Pros: It makes my life easier. I can drag and drop our services so they do not have to be re-written each time I go to do a proposal.

Cons: I would like to see it cost a bit less. We do maybe a proposal maybe once a week and I think it would be better if it was tiered for smaller companies.

Pros: inexpensive and has basic elements I understand how to use. I enjoy that it's an online service I can send via email and the analytics of the viewing are helpful.

Cons: i can't seem to understand how to fully customize the proposals and make them more appealing on a design level. there are some bugs I run across when trying to change fonts and spacing, and centering. so I end up settling for a look I'm not excited about. I don't understand how to custom from the template, like the backsplash or graphics. it would be helpful it the platform was more user-friendly, like weebly the website builder, where you can just drag and drop elements with ease.

Pros: Generates and monitors a proposal for ease of approval and review. Once someone creates a library of content, then it's easy to combine the sections and send a proposal to a client.
A client can approve electronically. Collaboration tools help to keep comms both internally and with proposal recipient regarding comments and changes.

Cons: Creating the content. Difficult to use tools for editing. What you see is not what you get. Seems to require a knowledge of HTML to get formatting right.

Overall: Quick generation of proposals once the library of content was developed.
Easy to send proposals via email.
Easy to approve or decline proposals.
Archive of proposals such as approved, declined, draft, in-progress, and so on.

Pros: I like the auto populate feature for contact / account information. I also like how easy it is to add or take items away from each proposal if needed.
The tracking feature is by far the greatest part of the system. Hands down.

Cons: I dont like how if you enter the same email in a new proposal it changes the account name to the previous one. For example. I have business partners that are the in between contacts and if I want to send multiple over to them it wont allow for the new company name if the email address has been used for another prior.

Overall: Convenience and ease of use to build proposals for new clients.

Pros: We love the way our proposals look, the ease of use and how cost effective it is for our company. It is simple for anyone on our sales team to create and send proposals, as well as view previous proposals and the current status.

Cons: Unfortunately the software does not link to our vendors for quoting purposes, nor does it integrate with our CRM. This is why we use proposable as a back-up option. Our primary quoting tool intergrates with other platforms which allows for seamless transition to CRM and invoicing.

Pros: Easy of use. To click "duplicate" and find the contact (from HubSpot) and be able to have a proposal created in seconds... that's just awesome.

Cons: My biggest complain is the search capability... Sometimes I want to find a proposal across multiple statuses, or find a proposal that contains something specific, and currently, I can't do that... I need to put everything I could ever want searchable later, right in the proposal's title, which means I can't use that within the proposal. Also, when I use the date shortcode, it includes the time, which is weird when I'm using it to say "this proposal is good for one year from {date}. And sometimes I have issues with page breaks when I have a lot of text in a single text area that spans multiple pages.

Overall: Tracking to see when a client opens a proposal is by far the biggest benefit. And I like that they get a reminder as the expiration date is approaching, but I'd like to get reminders too.

Cons: It can be buggy. They add features but often those are for a much higher price point. I'm at the median level and think that for the monthly cost, it could be a little better. Additionally, to add team members, it's the full monthly cost per team. I feel it should be an add on.

This easy to use web-based proposal software helps save our team time in preparing proposals and contracts for our clients. We also love the e-signature function which increases our ability to close on a proposal instantly rather than wait for a paper copy.

Comments: Having been responsible for producing quotes for software and consultancy deals for many years I was always looking for that next best proposal software. Started with Quoteroller (Pandadoc) which is OK, not great and the support was never really there.

Have recently moved all our operations globally to Proposable - it's great, easy to use and the support is excellent.

Comments: "We have been using Proposable for several years. We find that being able to track your prospects interest level in the different categories of your proposal offers a huge advantage. But the ability to add video is state of the art. Video provides you another opportunity to provide one last pitch of why your product or service is superior. I highly recommend standing out from your competitors and using Proposable."

Pros: - Professional presentation - Keeps branding consistent - Video usage ability

Cons: Every concern I had was rectified in new version.

Comments: One of my most used applications, simple enough, good templates, easy to modify, and minimalistic UX, old version is still available, new one is improving each time more.

Pros: Easy to use, awesome Customer Service from Gabe. Very stable, if you know HTML, CSS, you will be in the heaven.

Cons: No Electronic Signature Need fancy templates for Marketing Agencies Clients
