Our small business (8 Field Techs) has been using Kickserv for about a year now. And my overall thoughts are that it's great web-based software run by great people. We were using google calendar and paper work orders before which had a lot of room for error, a lot of double entry, and a ton of work period. Moving to Kickserv has been a great decision. It has saved us a ton of time and headache. There definitely has been a few small bumps along the road but Todd and his support team are very very responsive and have added lots of new features and continue to add more. We are now completely paperless with all of our field techs using tablets in the field. Thanks Kickserv!!

Has everything you need to run your business, user friendly, customers are able to make a payment right from the invoice.

Cons

Reports more accurate on the dashboard, more features on the mobile app (accepting credit card payments).

I have been searching for a Field service software for at least a month. We are a small service based company using paper work orders that get signed out in the field and then are used for invoice creation when they make it to the office - we have paper everywhere! I needed to be able to sync with QuickBooks desktop, not spend a ton of money, and get rid of paper, Kickserv fit the bill. Their customer support is awesome! My emails get responses even at 12:30 in the morning. I just can't say enough about the great customer service. Their tech support has just been awesome, and their price point is great compared to other software I have investigated.

I have a small service business and tried quite a few field service management systems before deciding on kickserv. It provides a great value for any field service business, has the majority of features I was looking for and most importantly, my technicians find it very easy to use so getting them to complete their work orders isn't a problem. Also, I frequently receive notifications from kickserv about new features being added and updates being made to the system so I know they are actively working to make kickserv better and better. I would recommend kickserv to anyone looking for a solution to their field service management business.

Pros

Reports are pretty user friendly and makes it easier to track time on jobs for payroll. Being able to see location of jobs for technicians

Cons

I don't find it user friendly when I have multiple jobs for one person. I'd like to be able to send emails out in the system rather than text messages.

This is the first and only Customer Relationship Management solution we found that could work with QuickBooks® Online. We started building our business with web based solutions and ServerSidekick is helping us keep it that way as we grow. Without Kickserv we would have had to buy a server and get some sort of IT maintenance contract. Cloud computing is a great solution for small business. Kickserv is not stagnant, there is no waiting until the next release of the latest software version, they keep growing and developing features as we grow.

The customer service is amazing. Everyone is real helpful and able to get us situated quickly and efficiently.

Pros

Field invoicing is a great feature. It allows us to take a payment right in the app and it will directly upload to our office.

Cons

I would like to be able to view a full calendar in the app.

I own a small business and we grew past the point of being able to use paper records, excel spreadsheets, and email calendars to manage the day to day operations and job scheduling. When I looked for solutions everything was either out of our budget or not really an improvement- everything was missing something and if it wasn't then we couldn't afford it. Then we found Kickserv! The premium is about 1/3 of most of the quotes we were getting and it has everything we need. Plus, when my company grows Kickserv offers more options we can use. My techs love having the app on their phone.

Started using Kickserv over 5 years ago when my small computer repair business added our first technician, other than myself. It has been key in growing our business. We are now up to 3 technicians, plus an admin. Kickserv keeps all of us on the same page, with scheduling, billing, customer info, and upcoming work. Before Kickserv, we were writing our invoices out of Quickbooks Online. Now, since Kickserv syncs with our Quickbooks Online, only the bookkeeper and I need to have access to Quickbooks. Highly recommend Kickserv to small service companies!

This program is wonderful! It has plenty of options to allow a simple way to keep up with scheduling, and tracking jobs, costs and employees, and many other things. It also has a tech support team that you can message directly from the sight, and they respond very quickly. Our company has used a few programs, and this is by far the best. I love being able to get in contact with a real person when I have a question, and they freely give out their phone number and are willing to call. I just have so many great things to say about this!

We are a plumbing company here in Nj. We have been with kick serve since they were previous named serviceside kick. Since using this product it has aided us in becoming totally paperless. no more misplaces paper or photos, All customer service info stored in one place and always available from any email device. One of the best decisions we ever made.

It is Organized , simple to use, a great business operations tool.

Cons

Requires to have some sort of internet connection for it to be used.

We love using Kickserv for our business! I don't have anything bad to say about it. It's easy to use, has great functions and is very affordable. It took all of the manual processes we were doing away and replaced them with a very efficient way of keeping up with labor hours, billing, jobs, etc. The only con is that I wish under logging labor hours, it was set up to where you clicked time in and time outs and it calculated the hours for you. Other than that, it's a great system and I would recommend to anyone in this type of business!

I have to commend Kickserv on outstanding customer service. I only went through the trial testing but any question or need and they are right on it. I think this software is really great and priced right.... maybe a little on the low side for all of the features that are included. We have a particularly unusual outsourcing needed that just doesn't quite fit or I would be using Kickserv daily to run my field service business. I haven't given up and know in the near future the few little features we need will be there and I will be back.

Kickserv has made my life and the running of my business so easy and stress free! After using a different company, I switched to Kickserv on the basis of having everything I need from scheduling, invoicing, tracking and many other things all in one place. And I was not disappointed. The customer service is outstanding. Any time I have a question or need help in the process of learning to use the system (which is very easy to use I might add) I am immediately helped. It is nice to have someone that cares. Highly recommended!

Pros: Easy to implement, enables low overhead/admin costs, customers love it, easy estimating, quick invoicing and payments, great support, cloud based (no IT infrastructure to maintain), scalable, integrated credit card payment system, employee buy in, dashboard, job history, employee timecards, great value, minimal unbillable hours or missed billings. Cons: No integration to Quickbooks online (yet), scheduling module can be tricky, slight software glitches once in a while, would be great if it had a job costing module.

Easy to use but but powerful. Covers all areas of our business operations. We were using spreadsheets and separate processes but Kickserv puts all these into one for an affordable cost. Saving us loads of time and money. I would definitely recommend this to any business looking to automate most part of their operations. We are a removals business based in the United Kingdom and Kickserv work just fine for us. Thanks to Josh Anderson who guided us through signing up and implementation without a rush or pushy sales tactics.

We tried several other field serve mgmt software programs out there, but none of them compare to Kickserv. Our plumbing company been using them for several years now. They keep adding new features and improvements, and really care about their customers. Their customer support is AMAZING. Whether you use email or phone support, they are always right there, ready to help. Their Quickbooks syncing service has been updated and works seamlessly. We could not run our company with this awesome software. Highly recommend!

We have been using Kickserve for the last year or so and it works great for our plumbing business. The software is customizable enough to let us use it the way that works best for us. Todd and his crew were great at working with us to bring our old data over and making it work with their program. It also works flawlessly in the evenings on my Ipad when emergency calls come through. I would highly reccomend it to anybody looking for great scheduling/dispatching/what ever you need software.

Before Kickserv we had a hard time keeping track of our customers, managing our technician's schedule and sending out invoices. Kickserv helps us manage the details so that we can focus on providing excellent customer service and running our business. No more double entry since it syncs with Quickbooks! We recommend Kickserv to all our franchise owners. It just makes sense! If you own a service based business and want to make your life easier then give it a try!

We're a Glass and Mirror Shop that is upgrading from the traditional paper and pencil method of doing business. We found the program forced us to become more organized and helped us identify inefficiencies in our system that would not have been exposed with the software. We eagerly look forward to the improvements to the platform. It would greatly enhance the experience to be able to track employees in real-time, but hopefully they already working on it.

Pros

Kickserve works great for small businesses who are managing schedules for a variety of people! We are a garage door company and we use Kickserve to schedule where and when our technicians need to go. We are able to input customer information that is accessible with just a click of the mouse. Kickserve did have a few glitches along the way, but they were always fixed quickly.

Cons

I think Kickserve is a new product, so they are constantly making small changes. They were always good changes, but we have to constantly learn new things.
