Pros 1) They have an amazing Support team that has answered and fixed every issue in a timely manner. 2) The month to month cost has been one the best prices for the volume we have. 3) The implementation and our migration process where handled quick and made easier with the help of their support team. Cons I cant tell what we do not like as we have not hit an issue or problem. November 29, 2018 2.0 We are a large multi national corp with 3 divisions, and approx 50 trading partners, using Dynamics GP as an ERP. Integration and transition: We have been trying for almost a year to get up and running. The teams are inexperienced and have never encountered a company our size. Things that work yesterday don't work today. Programmers are overwriting each other, and there are no standards for how stuff is done. There is no project plan, source code control, issue tracking, or anything else that is standard for a project this size. The response time is days not hours, and many issues they ignore hoping they go away. They have not encountered many of our scenarios which are standard for any company our size. The software: There are two parts to the solution, one is the web based portal the other is the GP Integration. The web based as a standalone solution is slow and cumbersome, but basically works most of the time. However, the "Raw EDI" is not truly that, there is very poor reporting, and no integration verification. On the GP side, it many times does not work, doesn't produce the expected results, and "loses" transactions. Being multi-company, many transactions overwrite each other and causes loss of transaction data. The export is slow, ie; I exported 3000+ ASN's and that took 3.5 hrs. There is little in logging and visibility to what is happening behind the scenes. Pros We were promised the world and got delivered peanuts. Pros Our company has been using TrueCommerce EDI solutions for one and half years, only when we first went live, we needed to reach out to the customer support for some small issues, the support process was very easy and the response was very quick. If I had the choice/opportunity, I would dump them in a heartbeat. Pros It is SUPPOSED to be "seamless" from EDI to ERP and it might be IF you can get TC to actually take the time to make it work Cons While in theory the software IS good, the lack of co-operation, concern, care, service, from True Commerce is abhorrent. I'm over 8 months from signing on an not a single partner is working anywhere near acceptable level. Pleasant with sales team, who responds and informs he escalated the situation, for the 2nd time. Pros We had great presentation and conversations with the sales team about the features and ease of use etc. Cons Once we signed up and paid the initial payment of 100s of dollars, there is no implementation timeline. There is no response to emails sent by our trading partners for status. Dead silence on the implementation, but keep charging the credit card for monthly fee for over two months. Left legal as the only option to recover our money. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions Sales team demo on the EDI platform and there seemed to be an ease of day to day working with the platform. If it was my choice we would be looking for another option that did not result in so much lost time and resources. Pros Easy to use after it has been setup. Fairly low maintenance after setup, as long as nothing needs to be changed Cons Customer service and Integration from HighJump is terrible. It has taken them well over a month to perform one single integration. Often we go days if not weeks before customer service and integration team responds to emails or calls. Our most recent encounter with them has resulted in a fine from the company TrueCommerce was supposed to integrate. I have been using TC for many years with multiple companies, with many different sizes. My current company uses TC for 80 partners for different channels. Their support and functionality sets the bar. Pros I love the visibility and ability to monitor your system, to monitor orders, and even make changes as needed. Their support though makes life easy as an IT Professional to ensure that orders are flowing. EDI is the lifeblood of any new business, and as result without a functioning EDI, issues will arise. TC is not set it and forget it, but it is set is and watch it. I equate TC to smoking meat. You put it in, watch it carefully, and enjoy the ride. Cons The only issue I have with TC is the lack of ability to automate connections and information into ERP for item information. Meaning that when a change happens in NetSuite, you have to update every trading partner. But with the future, they are looking to amend this. Review Source SN Shari N. It can be straight EDI or .ftp, you can connect everyone and access just one portal with True Commerce. Cons We randomly have issues that come up when maps change and we are not made aware. Seems high turnover of technical support, integration specialists and programmers may have caused issues where clear mistakes have been made on multiple occasions causing rejected documents and chargebacks from our partners. Pros I like that you purchase the partner plug-in and never pay again for any updates made by said partner. Also, the ability to integrate with SAP. Cons That over the last few years it seems that the updates being made to partner plug-ins have caused us chargebacks and I no longer feel confident in the validity of the documents we are sending out to our partners. Now I have to carefully scrutinize every change notice to make sure something hasn't been done that will cause a rejected document and subsequent chargeback (i.e. making a previously mandatory field optional when it really is mandatory...at least for us). EDI management has now become far more time consuming and frustrating. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions The belief that once we purchased the plug-in and completed testing, we would not have to worry about future expenditures for any changes the partner might make. August 22, 2019 5.0 They have helped us with two different ERP solutions and have made daily EDI tasks effortless. We are about to migrate to a new ERP solution and I have had discussions with TrueCommerce and their integration with the new ERP solution will make EDI even easier for our daily processes. (I didn't think it would be possible to make it easier!) Pros They have the people to help make EDI easy. Not 100% hands off, but it is so much easier when you have a Customer or Vendor who wants to do EDI and you get some basic information and then the TrueCommerce steps in and next thing you know you are certified and using EDI with your trading partner. Cons Any dislikes seem to be addressed by the support staff. Usually it is just a lack of knowledge or misunderstanding that quickly gets explained and there is nothing left to dislike. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions Other EDI companies have approached us and we have reviewed their offerings and from what we have seen NO ONE ELSE offers what TrueCommerce offers for features and overall ease of use and best yet, TrueCommerce always seems to win at the pricing model too!!! It is more user friendly than it has been in the past before this system was updated. I allows me to do most of our EDI turnaround without much issue. Cons There have been at least 2 times, that come to mind, where the system has been down for breaches in security which had prohibited us from accessing our daily orders for 36 hours. We have stringent timelines to meet with many of our customer that upon not fulfilling we are subject to hefty fines. A lot of the EDI turnaround is automatic and wish New dates for customers could auto populate instead of having to enter the same information each time. I have tired numerous times to set certain criteria to default and it does not seem to stick. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions I know price is certainly a factor but after the security breach and being unable to access our orders we have certainly looked elsewhere for EDI services. Daily order processing has become way more efficient and accurate with the use of the True Commerce software. Cons Because it is so customizable, it sometimes takes a while to implement new uses for the software. The support team is generally helpful but it can be hard to track down the individual who has the knowledge to assist you with specific tasks. I read other bad reviews and thought to myself that cant be true IT IS every last word. Terrible service, no one follows up its hard ot get in contact with anyone and they have continue to take our money. Pros We can say there is absolutely no value in going with TrueCommerce. Stay far away. Cons We were promised a product and then later found out that they could actually not deliver that product AFTER we had signed a contract and been confirmed multiple times with their sales guy. It took 3 months for them to go back for forth and we were patient as they tried to figure it out. They said our fault we will give you a refund and cancel the contract/service. It has now been 6 months and we have had to argue to get a refund which we HAVE NOT received, no one can seem to figure out how to cancel the service so that we dont continue to receive more charges. every month we get charged and every time we reach out and have the SAM conversation. Unfortunately, the program appears outdated, aside from the look and feel of the UI, there are limitations to certain functions in the program, which can sometimes spend more time than what would generally be required. Should some of the features be refined, the EDI could be quite good. Pros The functions and reach of the program was good, many options are provided in terms of the task you are trying to complete on DiCentral. Extensive records are kept, including a user history, which is convenient to recall when you need to trace prior steps. Cons While there are numerous functions, those functions are sometimes dysfunctional, if that makes sense. For instance, creating and submitting advanced shipment notices is rather antiquated, as you need to manually type out the dimensions for each line, as opposed to entering the dimensions for each item and having those dimensions applied to the relative items on the relative lines. The UI is also fairly outdated, but this is more of an aesthetic preference, but it can sometimes lead to navigating being rather complicated. Vice President Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Exceptional EDI package" September 19, 2017 5.0 Being able to trade EDI purchase orders, Advance Ship Notifications, Invoices, and a few other misc documents with over 60 different EDI trading partners. Previously we were spending many hundreds of hours per year trying to maintain EDI maps ourselves, and TrueCommerce has taken that load completely off of us. Pros HighJump/TrueCommerce has already made the connection and EDI mapping to many hundreds of EDI trading partners and they maintain the EDI maps so we do not need to worry about trading partner EDI map changes. Cons TrueCommerce has an automation component called Scheduler, that works wonderfully if you have less than 500 documents per half hour. Above that amount Scheduler sometimes has issues, but 500 per half hour is an immense amount of POs, and the system always works if you export POs by hand (which only takes a few seconds to initiate). Overall, this is a very minor dislike, and won't affect 99.9% of customers.
