President Food Production Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Fantastic EDI Providers" January 8, 2026 5.0 TrueCommerce has met all of my needs. They keep the process working and issues are very rare. We have been with them for many years and have never experienced any down time. Maintenance has always been done during non productive hours with no impact our our communication with our trading partners. Pros True Commerce has meet and continues to meet all of our EDI needs, integrating will all of our Trading Partners. Issues are rare but when one does come up they are quick to handle it. Tech Support is knowledgable and pleasant to work with. They are quick to respond to emails and for emergency issues they are only a phone call away. The system is secure, we have had no issues with security or data breaches. I feel we get good value for the cost of the service. The integration saves me considerable time and is worth every penny. Cons I have no complaints about TrueCommerce. Any short coming is on my end with a lack of knowledge to understand the complexity of EDI and the many ways it can benefit my company. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions True Commerce was quick to respond to my inquiry and were willing to fix problems created by the previous company. The best EDI provider to work with!" January 8, 2026 5.0 My overall experience with True Commerce has been 10 out of 10. I have worked with True Commerce EDI Solutions for about 11 years! Through this time many of the staff have offered their knowledge and helpful tips that have not only helped to maintain JTM's excellent partnerships with our customers and brokers, but also helped me advance professionally. Pros The support staff and user-friendly platform is what I like most about True Commerce EDI Solutions. The knowledge regarding integrations with JTM's specific ERP system is extremely helpful when we run into integration issues or certain mapping difficulties. The platform is so easy to navigate that the other users on the platform had no issues learning how to process transactions. Cons I do not have very many negative things to say regarding True Commerce EDI Solutions. Probably the only issue I have run into is when a support case gets picked up by the team in a different country. It is hard to get issues accomplished sometimes when we cannot communicate in real time. That is a VERY small issue in comparison to how many support cases we log. Review Source MB Michael B. Their knowledge and expertise is ever present on each need presented. Pros TrueCommerce software is easy to use, simple click and send solutions for our order processing. Combine the ease of use with visibility to the data and their services are unmatched. Cons Honestly, it is difficult to find something that is a not a positive experience with TrueCommerce. EDI Specialist Food Production Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Migration success with True Commerce" December 10, 2025 5.0 We took on a massive project with moving from our old ERP to an SAP system and working hand-in-hand with True Commerce to develop and test the mapping for over 80 trading partners. At the same time a migration project was taking place with getting trading partners off our old VAN and onto True Commerce in a limited amount of time. I've been pleased with the success of both projects. Pros The integrations team assigned to our migration to SAP did a fantastic job with mapping, partner set-ups, and customizations. Now that we are live, the True Commerce customer support team has been quick to respond with resolutions. I feel like their Foundry product offers very good value for the cost. Cons Since going into production, there is a limitation I've noticed. I would like to see an option developed to automatically move specific file types for specific trading partners from the Inbox to Received without exporting them. Review Source GA Gabriela A. We haven't had any downs. I do not have an IT background and they all have helped me undestand how everything works in a language I can understand. Pros It's easy to use, the support team is amazing as well. Cons A part of the support team is overseas so you need to mark the even as urgent someone in the US can help you. Our mapping was making a transmission cutting out a decimal than the original invoice. We did not discover it was doing that until after 2 years of operation. Pros 1) They have an amazing Support team that has answered and fixed every issue in a timely manner. 2) The month to month cost has been one the best prices for the volume we have. 3) The implementation and our migration process where handled quick and made easier with the help of their support team. Cons I cant tell what we do not like as we have not hit an issue or problem. I love the features, ease of use, responsiveness from the support team, etc. I would recommend this solution to others looking to add EDI capabilities or switch from an EDI solution they are not satisfied with. Pros Very easy user interface, similar to any mailbox. Cons It costs to include a broker or 3rd party email address if someone needs to receive PDF attachments of POs, invoices, etc. This seems like a very simple thing to add so I'm surprised there would be an extra charge. You really get the most bang for your buck when it comes to functionality, features, ERP/business system integration, and overall customer support. Pros One of the best aspects of TrueCommerce is the all-inclusive support that is offered at no additional charge. With an easy to use and intuitive web client interface, submitting a help ticket is simple, and the response time on getting answers and solutions to problems we encounter has always been top-shelf! Cons Integrating with our ERP system was a very technical process that took a bit of time and a lot of testing and validating to ensure everything was working properly, but with the continued support we received through that integration, we a functional and stable solution with little to no problems. Pros There is a lot to learn and \[sensitive content hidden\] were great teachers and took the time to show us how to use the software. They also explained what they have to do to complete the project, which was also very helpful. Cons The software is a little confusing to get around, but the tutorials help. If there was a print out of every time from A-Z that would be extremely helpful. Maybe there is and I just don't know! I have been using TC for many years with multiple companies, with many different sizes. My current company uses TC for 80 partners for different channels. Their support and functionality sets the bar. Pros I love the visibility and ability to monitor your system, to monitor orders, and even make changes as needed. Their support though makes life easy as an IT Professional to ensure that orders are flowing. EDI is the lifeblood of any new business, and as result without a functioning EDI, issues will arise. TC is not set it and forget it, but it is set is and watch it. I equate TC to smoking meat. You put it in, watch it carefully, and enjoy the ride. Cons The only issue I have with TC is the lack of ability to automate connections and information into ERP for item information. Meaning that when a change happens in NetSuite, you have to update every trading partner. But with the future, they are looking to amend this. Review Source MO Michael O. I purchased their Transaction manager as well as their Pack and Ship software. Pros I love the software when it works. However setting up the system and fixing any issues is near to impossible. Their support department is split into multiple departments, so if you call in no one can actually help you because "thats not their department". As a user I know more information about their system then most of their customer service reps that answer the phone (which is not much). Sales reps over sell their quality of customer service and give false information about how easy integration is. I dont mind running into issues, thats expected with software. But the lack of help you get when something does go wrong is brutal. They have one or 2 people on the team that actually know how to help and if you get in touch with them KEEP THIER DIRECT CONTACT INFO! Cons customer service and integration specialists. It took over a year to integrate their "pre built connections", like amazon seller central, walmart marketpalce, and shopify. Once I signed the contract to start implementation in May 2020, it took 4 months for a rep to actually reach out and begin the project. I told them i had a deadline of November 2020 to be fully integrated...that did not happen. Fast forward to Nov. 2021 I finally have my trading partners set up but not all of them are complete. Integration team has stopped following up with me. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions The sales rep knew they system in and out and the product sounded flawless...until I began integration. Then I saw how uninformed the implementation specialists and customer support people were. Software system works well although about once every 3 months needs to be "reconnected" with quickbooks. This is fairly easy to do but frustrating the first few times because I didn't know how to do it on my own and customer service was not available. Pros The software is set up similar to email with and inbox, outbox, sent etc. Fairly intuative and toom almost now training to start using. I think the cost is inline with other providers. Cons I have had a few bumps along the way with the implementation, customer service and sales team. When I oringally signed up the sales team told me I could use the system with one of my customers but that wasnt true. After quite a long time and a lot of follow up they did give me my money back. This year we changed from quickbooks desktop to online so we had to go through the implementation of the Truecommerce EDI software all over again. The implementation specialist over looked a key step in the processes causing a delay of about a month in the implemation. I ended up sending hundreds of transactions that failed due to this oversight. Truecommerce still charged me for these failed transactions which I felt was unfair. I spent 3 months following up with cuatomer service to try to get a refund. I did finally get a refund but it shouldn't have taken that long or required that level of follow up on my part. IT Manager Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A winning partnership" August 21, 2019 4.0 We wanted a solution that was better integrated with our software, much faster, simpler and cheaper to launch new trading partners. We found that a typical partner is up and running at a fraction of the previous time and cost with very little effort and rare to never do we require actual code changes. Pros There's a great deal of consistency in this product and in the company which is gravely important when dealing with a plethora of trading partners with diverse requirements. Cons There is a trade-off between great working software and feature rich capabilities. In this I found that it does 90% of what we need it to do well and then 10% it handles in a round about way that in order to make it work would be a tremendously costly undertaking. Reason for choosing TrueCommerce EDI Solutions The methodology behind the EDI solution put all of the heavy lifting in the cloud, completely behind the scenes which made the integration approach extremely light-weight. This is how we were able to move faster with the product and cut down on costs. We were looking for a team that could handle the migration of existing partners and implement new ones while we were still running at full speed. They have been able to pivot throughout the project to overcome problems by thinking outside of the box and listening to us, the client. It´s important to mention that 95% of our Purchase Orders arrive by EDI. There are few suppliers that work with Sage Business Vision (Our System) and True Commerce has worked excellent for us. "Their support team is small but very efficient. " Pros It´s easy to use, it integrates very well with our system and is very reliable, we have been working with this software for more than 8 years and 95% of our orders arrive by EDI, so it is very important to us have a tool that is always working.
