### "Makes managing employee timesheets easy"

Overall 7shifts has helped me to run my business more efficiently.

Pros

Helps to manage employee timesheets and to match my business needs with the amount of employees I have during busier times

Cons

I would like to see a report that I could download to calculate hours worked on each individual day for my entire two week payroll. Currently I have to download them one day at a time

Cons

We used to be able to start off with a template from the previous week. Not able to anymore. Would also like to schedule out further.

I have no choice but to use this software for work, but I’m happy it’s 7shifts! Aside from a couple of glitches, it offers a smooth experience with easy to read information.

Pros

I love the overview scene where I can see all of my shifts at a glance. It’s also helpful to see who’s working on days when I’m not scheduled. Very convenient and easy to use.

Cons

I wish there were widgets for iOS 14 that give a scheduling summary without having to open the app. I often find notification icons not going away after I’ve opened a message/bulletin.

### "It’s the right fit for us"

I use 7Shifts 99% as a scheduling tool and so my staff can put their shifts up in the shift pool and communicate if they do not have each other’s phone numbers. 7Shifts does exactly what I need from it and the cost is well worth my time.

Pros

The ease of use is the first thing that comes to mind. The interface is simple to explain to people who are not technologically inclined and this app is not missing any features that I need.

Cons

I cannot think of any complaints I have. Maybe if I tried out a few more of your competitors I might see an area of improvement...but I like it better than the competition I have seen.

I love how all my employees information is in the same place and easy to access. Employees can easily view shifts, co-workers for the day, the shift pool and contact information for everyone.

Cons

I wish the manager log had a few more options that would be useful for our company

Pros

Love the ease of scheduling, copy and pasting, using shift to copy the same time and adding it to another employee.

Cons

The mobile functionality is a little bit more difficult to use. Will not let you do some simple things that online will allow you to do.

Pros

I like the shift flag feature --- would like an attendance report option.

Cons

Announcement feature is faulty at best -- would like the option to send announcements company wide without having to select each zone which results in multiple emails/notifications for a single message. Would love to see a feature where you can pin announcements and a place where you can make attachments more easily accessible

Overall really great. I use it daily and have no serious issues.

Pros

Managing all scheduling functions in one place is great. It also integrates with payroll and the pos. The app is great too

Cons

The reporting is missing something. There are some things that require manual entry that I don't believe are necessary such as marking people late or absent

Pros

Makes scheduling easy. Staff can trade shifts. Very good communications platform to keep the team in the loop.

Cons

Sometimes has trouble with POS integrations. Tge support are super helpful and will back fill sales if there is a problem.

I have been using 7 shifts for over a year and I am quite pleased with the ease of use as well as the reports it offers.

Pros

7shifts gives me the ability to compare my historical sales data with my scheduling so that I don’t uber or over staff in any given day.

Cons

There are a few parameters in reports that I would like to adjust. It would make it easier for me to pay out tips.

I really love this app. So simple & easy to use.

Pros

It’s so easy to use, very simple but has everything we need. I love all the different features & it’s just very simple & self explanatory. We’ve very few few problems using it for the last 2 years.

Cons

It sometimes takes a little long to load & can time out but it’s not very often that it does happen & it’s usually only one persons app at a time that it glitches on.

Overall I'd say I have a positive opinion of 7Shifts and may prefer it over HotSchedules.

Pros

We mainly us the software for scheduling, Log Book, and messaging. Employees can set availability and request off as well. The program works fine for these options.

Cons

Wish there were more user friendly options available. We had a manager that quit, and even though he was deactivated, he was still receiving notifications from us and schedules.

Great experience - have a decent customer service team too!

Pros

Would not be able to track time and schedules in the same way without this software. Need the ability to have accurate time tracking for payroll and this software does it.

Cons

Sure wish it calculated the average daily wage for employees that work stats - but that's asking a lot!

This app is a very flexible platform to allow employees manage their shifts in a collaborative environment. Very transparent and easy to use.
