Since then the personnel at Northland IT have been exceptionally accommodating while helping us to customize the jail management software specifically to our ever changing needs. Moving from our antiquated "green screen" software to their highly intuitive web based windows system has given us the ability grant numerous state and local entities access to our software and in doing so has also helped us to streamline all the aspects of the jail management process without having to pay for each additional user we add. Matrix's ability to utilize multiple facilities has given us the ability to automate all our facilities under one software to the point that we are considering utilizing Matrix as a regional/multi-county jail management system so that we, and other neighboring counties, are able to transfer and share inmate information such a demographics, contact information, photos, criminal history and disciplinary history, just to name a few, while under one comprehensive system thus helping to remove the ever increasing amount of redundancy of inmate information which we have become accustomed to while each county continues to utilize separate jail management systems. The only negative comment I have is that Matrix JMS is only view-able in Internet Explorer. They need to update the software so it can be viewed using all the common browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Then, it will truly be the most comprehensive JMS on the market.
