### "Publish2Proift Perfect Has Been Our Mainstay for 13 Years"

Publish2Profit took us from using separate programs for sales contact management, ad space reservation, invoicing and payment processing, and combined those functions (and much more) into one easy to use system, that all members of our staff could use in a consistent way. It also allows for good administrator oversight of many aspects of the business - receivables, sales goals, actions (or lack of) by sales staff, etc.

Pros

We have been using Publish2Profit since March of 2007. It revolutionized the way we, as a small regional publication, were able to do business, incorporating sales contact management, easy creation of multiple rate cards, ad space reservations, aging reports, invoicing, processing credit card payments, statements, and much more into one reasonably priced monthly package. It has worked flawlessly, with very few, if any "glitches" or downtime over the years. Any problems are quickly resolved. The video tutorials incorporated into the software make it easy for administrators and users to master the system. As a third party system which we access via the internet rather than being housed on our own computers, we never have to worry about installing upgrades and we can easily work remotely by just logging in from home, the same way we do from our office desks.

Cons

The software isn't "pretty" - it resembles older "DOS" programming. It may not have a modern look, but it is a workhorse!! We don't need a lot of "bells and whistles" - reliability, functionality, and reasonable price are the qualities we deem most important.

1) Price 2) We did not need all the "fancy features" of Magazine Manager and it was more expensive. Their response to our initial inquiry was much less personal than Publish2 Profit. 3) The video tutorials which were embedded right into the Publish2Profit system and a free trial in order to try it out in demo mode made a big difference before committing to it.

### "Data Management for Advertising Sales and Subscriptions"

The modules are easy to use. Production use is easy for layout. Billing process is swift and easy. The payment process is very easy and reports are so helpful for to monitor revenues and aging reports. Emailing invoices has streamlined invoicing our clients. Online billing for subscriptions has saved staff time and allowed our subscribers an easy method to sign up online without having to call the office to renew or subscribe. Customer service and support is a key to being with P2P for over 5 years.

Pros

Helps our company track our clients year to year, and review reports for comparisons. Billing is a breeze, email component is great, and online payments are easy and safe. Record keeping at your fingertips! Scheduling program is very helpful as ticklers to remember to contact clients 3 months or even a year from now. Support is always responsive and helpful and is appreciated.

Cons

Although, P2P has been very supportive with any problems we have encountered and are prompt in helping to resolve our lack of understanding or forgetfulness... I think it would help to offer companies an hour-long free training session every 6 months, or two-hour free training session once a year, in case new staff members come on board or just as a refresher training. In our publishing business, it would be helpful to have a tool that we could use for ad updates. We currently do all of our graphic update requests by individual emails and to be able to view a created ad and provide update comments to ad design would be an awesome tool to add for publishing clients.

### "Wonderful System!"

The customer service is prompt and a above and beyond. Implementation was easy, and we were able to move without a hitch in our schedule.

Pros

The ability to see who the donors of gift recipients are on the main search result screen. We also like the ease of entering new orders into the system, and it's ability to drill down for list pulls.

Cons

I would love the ability to pull reports for a date range, but that doesn't hinder or workflow at all.

Every platform we looked at was very similar in terms of our needs, but for us, it came down to price. As a mid-sized publisher we looked for the most bang for our budget, and found what we needed in P2P.

### "Adaptable and supportive"

The support team is amazing! There has never been a system outage - strong, consistent and effective. They respond within hours when we have a question or and idea of something we would like to try/change.

Pros

We use the Subscription and Advertising elements of this software. The implementation was straight forward for both, and the support team is quick to respond to questions. P2P can handle multiple currencies and payment platforms. I can see that there are many options we do not even use - it is more powerful that we know.

Cons

Not knowing what else it can do for us. Tutorials would be helpful.

### "P2P use"

It has made tracking our business easier and less time consuming.

Pros

The features I like the most are the flexibility of reports. I can pull them so many different ways to meet my needs. Also I can train new employees easily on the system. It is very user friendly and that makes it quicker for me to train them and get back to other work.

Cons

I really haven't come across anything that has been difficult to do. I can always figure out a solution for what I need.
