I have been using TeamSnap for about 4 months for my daughter's cheerleading squad and it has been very helpful for navigating scheduling and communication with the team as well as with the coach and parents.

Pros

I think that team snap is a good app for coach and parent communication,team management, and scheduling is a breeze with it as well.

Cons

I do not like that that it can be difficult to read the header information. I also think that the timing is off with the time zones.

Positive - it is an intuitive app. As with all areas, things are managed across multiple platforms, so there is not always the need to use all features in each platform.

Pros

Ease of use. Adding events, changing details and functionality when or when not to notify others of the change. Reminder features are also helpful. The tracking functionality is also helpful.

Cons

Not aware of any feature to poll members for specific items. Signup lists are also managed outside of the app.

My experience with TeamSnap was generally positive. Definitely better and easier than using E-Mail and Spreadsheets.

Pros

Easy to use as both coach and parent/user. Easy to track multiple players and communicate with parent.

Cons

On-site advertising is annoying. I found the Mobile App a little harder to navigate as coach. It was fine as parent

Positive, one stop shop for all things team management related. Schedules, reminders, team personnel, stats keeping, etc all in one place

Pros

I liked the calendar integration, Rosters functions, stat tracking, scheduling and communication functionality of the app. Probably best suited for bigger cities and places with larger leagues, where I am from, the software doesnt seem as relevant with the community, but overall I did like its functionality when helping my team coordinate throughout the seasons

Cons

Not really anything against the app, but it was hard to get team engagement of buy in for the app. Probably just due to the size of our location demographic here,

I wish someone would develop a competitor product that was more intuitive and less clunky.

Pros

Very little anymore. Once I switched from an individual team account to business, almost everything I liked became worse.

Cons

The rostering, clunky chat feature, mis-information when switching from the individual team account to a business account, lack of timely customer support (1-5 days later they respond and not with a call but usually with links to their website or a generic answer).

I haven't had to contact TeamSnap so I don't know how their customer service is, but because the product is solid, it isn't an issue. I play on a team that uses TeamSnap and find it never fails to do the job.

Pros

TeamSnap is easy to use and navigate. The app works well and since TeamSnap has been around for awhile, they have worked out all the bugs and glitches that some of the newer formats are having trouble with.

Cons

The only reason I rated it a 4 was because as a Canadian, the exchange rate for the use of the product is expensive.

My overall experience is that it is a learning curve and not very easy to get your roster activated on the app

I liked how it was laid out once you got all your roster onto the website

Cons

Setting up your roster and getting the parents onto the app was the hardest part
