It is a good app if you just want to have your medical consultation done using provincial medical service plan. For your private insurance claims, I would not use this app. Otherwise, I do not have any issues using it.

Pros

It is easy to book appointments and get medical consultations virtually. I don’t have to enter my saved information over and over again whenever I have to book an appointment.

Cons

The claim process is not good at all. Such a long process to file a claim and claims’ approval always gets delayed.

Sales forward, but less than completely transparent with pricing. The price that I was quoted was within my budget. What was not explained was all of the add on fees that would be required to transition to this product and make it fit my needs.

Pros

The support team is US based and are friendly and polite. They are quick to respond to emails and concerns.

Cons

This was sold to me as quoted price. I didn't learn until later that in order to get a complete product, I had to pay addon fees. The fees continued to increase and are not refundable. Be sure that you understand all pricing before signing any contract with this company.

John, we’re glad you had a good experience with the Azalea support team. We take pride in providing responsive, U.S.-based support. We also aim to be clear and upfront about pricing, including what’s included and what may be optional based on a practice’s needs. It’s clear we didn’t create that clarity in your experience, and appreciate you letting us know. If you’d be willing to share more about your specific experience, we’d welcome the opportunity to learn from it and improve our process moving forward. Please feel free to reach out to info@azaleahealth.com.

very poor functionality overall-it is more like a billing word processor than a product to be used in clinical work.

Pros

I found the product lacking in basic functionality-need to look in multiple aspects of the chart for incoming information, lack of chronological integration of notes, labs, imaging. prescribing thru DrFirst is cumbersome.

Cons

Visually cluttered, prescribing platform with too many clicks, poor basic functionality -lack of chronological organization of the chart, data coming in from multiple interfaces not integrating

We requested to get out of the bogus 5 year contract because of all of the problems and breaches that they caused us but they of course wouldnt let us even though the person who signed it wasnt authorized to do so. I wouldnt get into any long term contract with them. Guerrila tactics, poor customer service (really none at all)

Pros

I do not like Azalea Health. they purchased my practice management software and then got someone in my office to sign a 5 year agreement. then they pretty much almost made me go bankrupt by setting it up all wrong. we didnt get paid for almost 5 months! it was a total disaster. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

Cons

We would call them and no one would help. no customer service no personalized service. just a horrible company in my opinion. we had to hire outside people to help us get the system working (we didnt have a choice) and they finally got it hobbling along but their reports are lacking and the software is still sub par

I have had a good overall experience using Azalea Health. It is easy to use and keeps all information needed on file for patients.

Pros

Azalea Health is a good source to use for recording and keeping patient information, appointment details, as well as their insurance on file.

Cons

There are times when Azalea Health will glitch and some of the information on a patient's profile does not load correctly the first time.

Positive. Support staff are great with helping to resolve issues or coming up with work arounds that will make do.

Pros

The ease of use for the most part. Also, like several of the features used for scheduling. There are some aspects that could use an easy fix to resolve annoying little issues, but those aren't priority for Azalea at this time.

Cons

Slow to implement updates that were to be done in 2024. Several new clients requested appointment reasons to be visible instead of having to hover over the appointment slot to see detail. I was told engineering would work on this for 2024. Haven't seen anything yet.

Azalea bought out PDS and made the transition, cost-wise, better than going to a new vendor.

Software purchased by Azalea and then forced to move to Azalea program. Would not set up new templates. Very clumsy notes. Not near as professional in appearance. Not helpful with adapting. Not good for small practices or specialist. Told we we retiring and would only need 2 year contract. Our error, we signed a 5 years contract with auto renewal. I find them dishonest. Now locked into paying for a program we can not use.

Pros

Effective sales team. MIPS included in pricing of program, though that helpful.

Cons

Were not honest when we purchased. Was told no auto renewal with contract. Not true. Told could retire and could end contract. that correct, but with 90 days notice. told could have lower fee when practice slowed down. not true.

Awful. I am suing them over my medical records that were in their system for 6 months. The will not provide me with a readable version of my medical records and I have been locked out of 6 months of patient records for almost a year. Pathological liars and cheaters. They are trying to extort me for $7500 to get my medical records that I paid a fortune for to begin with!! Do not hire this company or get involved with them in any way. They they tried to get me to sign a gag order to not tell anyone what they did to my practice.

Pros

Nothing. From the set up the rep lied about all the benefits of using this emr and billing service.

Cons

Constant lies. They almost bankrupted my practice because bills sat in the queue for over 2 months until I hired another biller. They were being paid to provide a full rcm product. They were getting paid a ton of money and asked for money up front so they had no emergency to get us paid. The did NOTHING!!

over priced and no service on 10% of claims that were not paid. Had to hire an additional biller

Beyond terrible! DO NOT SIGN UP.... there is no trial which is a RED FLAG. We only want out of our contract and were willing to cover the rest of the year... i will continue to share my experience until they do what is right.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. There is a reason they want you to sign up for 5 years without a trial.

Cons

Their customer service was terrible and they locked us into a contract for 5 YEARS.... promised services that were not actually able to be integrated..
