Helps me with my documentation process and keeps it extremely safe; Makes my boss happy. It's not 100% perfected, but when you are dealing with data without losing your mind, it's game changing. We value highly the people who steer clear of the whirly twirly of paper! Pros This software is pretty neat in that it works mechanically for us. Before Revver, a ton of data was entered into manually from PDFs and my brain was melting. The magic of data extraction just seems to be happening now. Easy to use and extremely quick. The other is that the help desk is great, helpful too, when I was stuck with a workflow setup they helped me right away. Cons May create confusion if the document is untidy or has unusual writing. I need to have to go in to correct it manually which will be a bit of a pain in the ass. Cons There seems to be a lot a lag time when uploading files. I've had a file sit with the buffering wheel and never upload. It's frustrating to have to logout and back in to reboot Revver to get it to upload, which sometimes it uploads and other times it doesn't. June 4, 2026 5.0 All in all, I believe that this SaaS tool is a fantastic companion of my work. It contains few bugs on the mobile side, yet the desktop version is magnificent and highly powerful. I no longer have that stressful experience of forgetting essential things to do. You should also give it a go, should your everyday employment be fraught with hectic scheduling and paperwork. Pros I personally like the way this software is able to put everything in one location. I am always messy in my job taking care of the calendar, monitoring of client files and appointing meetings on behalf of the \[sensitive content hidden\]. I used to open ten to ten tabs every morning before using this and seemed to have gone crazy. I simply open this one platform now and all the things are there. The automation section is also quite useful. I will be able to create reminders to our team, and I will not have to continue to email them to get updates. It saves me at least 4 to 5 hours a week, which is tremendous to me. Cons The mobile app is the only part that I dislike. It is extremely sluggish and in other occasions it simply shuts itself when I attempt to upload a document in the road. Travelling with the \[sensitive content hidden\], I have to look at something in a hurry on my phone, and the mobile version is simply not as convenient as the computer site. In addition, the query box within the system may be somewhat perplexing. However, I have been typing for hours describing each file today and it would be nice to be able to automatically categorize them, however I was happy to see that Revver has the option to limit who accesses certain folders within the system. Pros Revver eliminates the need for sending massive emails back and forth containing attachments and reduces the risk of creating multiple competing versions of files. We store all of our on-boarding documentation, contract templates etc., securely in a central location that individuals may access from remote locations. This essentially solves the issue of fragmented data from failing local drives since everyone works off of a common base. Cons I hate when the desktop sync client freezes up for reasons that seem to be random. When i go to resolve duplicate versions of a file, it's a nightmare. During large file transfers, it uses up a ton of system resources causing my entire computer to slow down & become unresponsive while i try to complete other tasks. Another little annoying thing i've noticed is that when external agencies send us things via their own systems, it displays in the web view extremely cluttered. Review Source AS Avira S. There are some minor bugs and there is a learning curve involved of getting started, but the time some of these tools saves me weekly is more than worth it. It's definitely worth a try if you want to overcome routine, repetitive work. Pros My everyday work is so much automated, I really love such software. I used to spend hours on everything doing it manually also making lots of mistakes on my sheets, before using this. In this case, I simply press a few buttons and the system works for me immediately. Overall I think the dashboard is pretty clean and see all of my project data in a single place without opening 10 different tabs. Also, the day-after-day automatic email alerts are fantastic since I do not need to continuously chase them to ensure they remember deadlines. Cons The only issue there is the set up part and it was a bit confusing when I was just beginning this. I had almost 3 days to learn how to attach my old data correctly, and still ended up having to call for help twice. March 11, 2020 5.0 We have had an excellent experience with eFileCabinet. The customer service team is very responsive, our sales person is well informed on the product and can easily direct you to the team member who will be able to assist you with a problem. The trainers are patient and are willing to advise on the set up of your files. Our trainer, Kevin, knows EVERYTHING about the product, and is willing to do multiple sessions for us to make sure that we understand how to use the product. Pros eFile Cabinet and the associated Rubex software make moving from paper files to digital files easy. The various add-ins provide access to the system from your email, PDF, MSExcel, and MSWord. Once uploaded, the files (and their contents) are easy to search. An additional feature that is particularly useful for our team is the ability to allow a "guest user" to access files for a limited time. This is a lifesaver for managing audits and allowing employees to access and view documents in their file. The best feature in this software is the "help" automations that literally walk you through the different activities you may want to accomplish in the software. Cons This software can be used be a team that does not have a "plan" for moving to a digital platform, but that is very unwise. It is easy to begin using it right away; the biggest challenge comes in the set up and administration. There is a definite learning curve, and the training that is offered should be readily accepted -- it will be needed, and it is very helpful! Alternatives considered [Microsoft SharePoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/1167/SharePoint/)[OneDrive](https://www.capterra.com/p/161304/OneDrive/) Reason for choosing Revver eFileCabinet provided us with an on-line repository that was secure, easy to use, and we felt would last for quite a while. Nothing may last forever, but we feel confident in the security of our files and our ability to access them. The Microsoft Products often change (without notice), with features being updated or dropped with little or not time to make alternative plans. Additionally, they can be confusing and often require the use of a Developer. I set up the eFileCabinet account, the organization of new files, the governance protocols, and the upload of old files. The customer service is phenomenal, and I don't think I could have gotten this level of service and competence anywhere else. Was long-time customer with them and was much more cost affordable and easy to use. Pros Easy to use, support is good, feel safe and secure. Easy transition from E-File Cabinet. Security for sharing files with clients. Cons Price very high for one man operation (retired) like myself. File sharing is difficult for me to figure out and use: not sure what to allow and not allow so as not to open up files to everyone else. Pros The flexibility allowed for the workflows - there are several different attributes, and selections you can design when creating Workflows which allows you to get really granular with how you want to use Revver. Cons There are glitches sometimes, when I upload a PDF sometimes the preview is incorrect. Some days (rare) Revver does not work at all, and I need to wait a few hours to go back and use it.
