It is also nice that a few of us can log in at the same time. One thing I would improve is looking up clients. I would love it that if you started spelling out a client name the program would be able to start populating the possible names, I don't like the search space as you have to spell out the entire name and it wastes time. Pros It is easy to use and the interface is not complicated Cons I don't like that sometimes I have difficulty logging in. For some reason the address on my server changes and I can't access it. I have called support and they were able to help me, but not sure how to fix so it doesn't happen again. Reason for choosing Revver We have used it for many years and it meets our needs. Excellent experience with this program Pros It truly is just like a filing cabinet. You can store everything in its native format and retrieve quickly with date or word searches. Storing emails in native format is particularly useful because you can always review to see what attachments are with the email. Drag and dropping files from one screen into efile which we locate on a second screen is intuitive because it is just like taking a piece of paper or document and placing it in a file. Efile has reduced the amount of paper and filing Cons I wish efile had a arrow back button that would take you back to the previous screen. The eFile Cabinet allows all our users to easily access needed information, and it is easy to store and update this information as needed Pros The software was easy to set up. It is great to store, fix and change documents leaving a trail of all changes made. It allows use to easily update the system to set a new year for all clients. We have had few problems with the software, but when we did, technical support was fast and efficient to keep us up and running. Cons Because of its ease of use, sometimes it is easy to delete or move a document. However, it is easy to find and restore the document. Reason for choosing Revver It seemed a better system. It has cut down on the amount of time we were spending going back and forth between offices to share the information needed. Pros I like that I can search and locate items from any of my cabinets. It's very rare that I can't find what I'm looking for. I like that I can customize with as much detail as I want each and every drawer and every file in that drawer. I like the security that comes with items stored in eFile. Cons There is really nothing that I don't like about eFile. It serves our needs very well. I love the filing system. It helps me keep things organized. The Secure Drawer aspect is wonderful too because it allows my clients to easily get me the documents I need to work. The desktop app is wonderful as well -- it allows me to upload dozens of documents easily right to where I need them. Cons The price is difficult for me since I am a smaller business. August 26, 2018 5.0 Pros eFileCabinet is a data storage system that can store hundreds of different electronic data, such as PDFs, Microsoft Word files, jpegs, and others. It is simple to setup and easy to use. The availability of eFileCabinet in mobile, both android and iOs, makes carrying hundreds of files and data possible. A lock screen feature for mobile is also present making your files available just for you. Cons The inability to upload multiple files at times is a great downside but so far, that is the only problem I have faced with eFileCabinet. Everything is working as how it should be. It is a huge time saver for us and also eliminates the need for leaving your desk to file paperwork. And, you have easy access to their customer service team. We can chat with their team within minutes. Pros I like that everyone is my office can access all the information immediately. And, I can give permissions to each person that's individual to each of them. The not so tech savvy individual can just view while the more technical can have full access. Cons I don't like that we have to scroll thru our file to find which one page we need. There's not an adequate search function that would be helpful to us. We have eliminated the need for 9 - 10 filing cabinets. Pros I like the ease of use the most. The software allows us to easily set up and manage hundreds of client accounts with ease. Many of our clients have special requirements and this system allows us to customize each clients account record with ease. Cons I wish there was a way to file the clients information more easily. We have over 400 clients that we scan documentation into files for and this system can be a bit cumbersome with so much documentation that needs to be filed. We have eliminated 2,400 sqft of storage space, perfected offsite backups of documents, and saved ourselves hours of production time from the ease of searching for documents needed. Cons Have had some issues with recent updates that required downgrading to previous builds, which was both frustrating that we could not utilize improvements and time it took to downgrade. I would like to see more product training than rush to push out unfinished improvements. We can scan documents and looking back for them, if needed, is quick. All the documents are easily found because each person or office can set up a filing system to meet their exact needs. It is awesome. Pros eFileCabinet is so great to use and with the Sidekick button on my screen at all times searching for anything is so easy. I can look up things quickly and that is a big plus. Cons Once you look at a document it is "checked out" the documents always then need to be "checked in" It is not a big deal and we have learned to work with it. However, some features could be added to make it a better fit for Government. Pros Ease of use. Stores documents in native format. Send to feature to store documents. Secure Drawer. Intuitive. Searchability. The use of profiles are nice. Cons Very glitchy. May not always preview the e-mail you highlight. Will open the right one, but sometimes preview is wrong. Sometimes crashes. I also wish that the new payment policy included myself and my husband for a lower price as it just doubled since we are two users and we have been using this service since we began our business. Pros Keeps everything organized and is pretty easy to use. Cons The app is HORRIBLE. Needs significant revamping. It is very difficult to understand the symbols to click on in order to open things in the app. Also, the software on a laptop sometimes malfunctions when uploading documents to storage and the only way to get E-file working again is to restart the entire computer which is frustrating. Having the option to preview documents helps speed up anything the firm is doing to reduce how many open files are sitting on the computer. The support staff is also great with any needs that we have. Cons It is sometimes slow and archaic as we have not seen a lot of new updates or new features since the time we have started using the software. We are hoping that more services will come out that would help with our normal day to day activities. Pros The software keeps the documents in a easy to follow format. You can easily search for the files you need and also save the files you have from emails or other office products. Cons The speed of the software can be sluggish at times. This might also be due to the amount of data we have stored and the speed of our internal network. Pros We recently centralized our overall Human Resource function, with personnel at multiple location, to one central location in California. We needed a solution that was easy to implement, provided ease in accessing and storing information and cost effective. E file cabinet provided all of this to us and more. Cons Set up was a little difficult in not having a dedicated individual who really knew the software to guide us. I wish that the customer service was a little more helpful in fixing the one major problem that we keep running into, but overall we will continue to use this product in the future. Pros When changing over our computers a few years ago, we moved all client files and office operation files from our computers to this cloud based efile system. The move over was easy and did not take long to upload. It is easy to organize and create new drawers and files. Also, the efile buddy is helpful and easy to download onto anyone's desktop. Cons We have had problems of files being deleted. When calling to efile customer service, no one has been able to help us. This has been going on for a while and no one seems to be able to give us an answer. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is random and has deleted all kinds of files including PDFs, Word documents and Excels. Review Source JG Jeff G. Pros We use it as an engineering document management system to store revision controlled engineering documents and it does a great job. Could start importing file immediately. Very intuitive on how to set up Cabinets and drawers and load files into them. Cons There are not any workflow actions in the Toolbox that address our unique use of this software so we need to have a process outside of eFile Cabinet to manage the approval process of making a change to a document. Reason for choosing Revver It did what we needed at a price that was much less than engineering document management systems. It also allowed me to import the files into it much easier than the other systems. I was able to use it right out of the box without any modifications and could start importing files immediately. Pros Pretty good functionality (within application only). Like the built-in OCR and full text document searches. Cons It is sealed off from the world. Other competing software packages integrate with other programs which is HUGE. Consistently says document s are checked out when they aren't. I suspect this is a "clicking" problem with end users but the software should still recognize the user from which the command is coming. Pros It is so easy to use, i can fins a document and a few seconds, my bosses are impressed, keeps every document, important or not, all organized, we reduced the paper copies considerably. Cons It is nothing that I don't like about this product so far. But I just need to know if is any way that I can check my files from another device, I understood that all the files are safe in the cloud, so in case that my server got damaged I would like to know how I will be accessing to all my efile cabinets? Pros I like the search option. You can search for a client by first name or last. Customer service is incredible. They really know their product. Cons We have issues with permissions. We store a file and you can't see it listed. This is getting better. Templates are a little bit complicated to do especially since you have to apply to drawers individually. We also didn't know there could be an issues with too many clients in a drawer. We had to set up more drawers to spread them out. August 24, 2018 3.0 I have used this system for three years and until June of this year it worked well. There was the occasional hiccup but it was always addressed and addressed quickly by tech support. In early June files would randomly become corrupt and unusable. Although I have contacted tech support again and again it is now the end of August and this has not been resolved. Initially I was told that I was the only user experiencing the problem. I was later told that many users were having the issue and that I am now the only one still experiencing it. I have been told multiple times that the issue has been 'escalated' to some department or other and then I get an email asking for some piece of information or two and then nothing. No follow up, no correction. I am losing data on a daily basis and this is costing me untold $$$ in billable hours while my staff spends time recreating files and data instead of supporting my clients!! Pros There is no predesigned formatting or folders so I am able to set up my files exactly as I wanted them to appear. Pros When working the software is easy to use. When working the features are flexible enough to meet most data management needs. Cons I spend to much time with support. The software (securedrawer) is not stable. The user interface changes frequently. The user manual is often not up to date. When Windows 10 is updated the software stops working correctly. As you know Microsoft updates their software often so it means I'm contacting eFileCabinet often to fix the software. The is no convenient place for me to determine what changes update make to the software. Too often when one issue is fixed other issues are created. Reason for choosing Revver Product was recommended by my Broker Dealer.
