Easy to use and access. Support is top-notch, with very knowledgeable and friendly technicians that will patiently ensure your system is running smoothly.

Pros

Customer support is very helpful and timely. This was the first time I had scheduled a call with a support technician and it was a very pleasant experience.

Cons

Nothing, everything has been great. The security used to access the system is good, and it is an efficient inventory management tool.

Fishbowl has had a lot of ups and down for our team. It has been a great tool to track inventory but not the greatest tool to develop quotes in a fast quoting environment. Some features are fairly easy to use but it is a lot to learn about and takes time becoming an expert in the system.

Pros

I like that Fishbowl is a great inventory system and shows a lot of material data and revenue per item being sold. I do enjoy the ease of placing orders inside fishbowl and developing transfer orders to process our additional locations. I also enjoy the ease to fulfilled a order in fishbowl as well.

Cons

I do not like how unforgiving Fishbowl is when a mistake has been made after an order has been fulfilled, adjusting any errors seems pretty difficult to do in fishbowl on processed orders after they have been fulfilled. It is also very hard to develop reports inside of fishbowl as well unfortunately fishbowl spits out a lot of reports per item and not by per order or quote. I also am not a fan of the constant restarting the server when it comes to setting up new location groups. It requires all of our team to log out and restart the server in order for fishbowl to update and process the new location.

[NetSuite](https://www.capterra.com/p/135757/NetSuite/)

Netsuite was very expensive and they did not have very good support and it was a very difficult tool to make any adjustments in

I am going to be using the program form the first. I have had 2 demos and have been excited to start. Now the time is here and I cant wait.

Pros

I appreciate the inventory, order, and value. I find the ability to connect all aspects of our needs with ease the best part.

Cons

For now, I have no issue with the program. I am overly excited to work on it further. If at a later point if I find something concerning, I am confident that your team can assist.

I wanted to share that the new system is working very well for us. It does wonders in keeping track of our inventory and purchases. Having this level of clarity on our logistics and technical specifications has been incredibly helpful for the team.

Pros

It is a great program and was very easy to learn how to use. Previously, we didn't have a way to track our inventory, and this program has helped us to do so effectively. We are very pleased with how it has streamlined our processes.

Cons

What I like least is how long it takes to open to login. Additionally, it seems to kick users out too fast if the system isn't being used for a little while. If there is any way to adjust these timeout settings or streamline the login process, that would be very helpful.

It is a good and stable system overrall and the phone support is excellent. I had two cases where our data was messed up due to mistake on our end and I contacted Fishbowl and the support team was able to solve our issues in timely manner.

Pros

Inventory mangement, Export and import. I especially like the fact that the export allows to save in Excel formart. There are also plenty of reports avaible.

Cons

There is no customer credit (balance) managent, and it is difficult to management payment across sales orders. Although the system has price rules but it doesn't our this simple requirement: setting up a minimum price for a product and any sell price under the minimum can not sold.

Now we no longer have to deal with a million messy spreadsheets for the warehouse. At least it keeps most of our numbers somewhat in sync with quick books, so I don't get yelled at.

Pros

You can mess with the template but it's all about how much time you've got. But surprisingly it did manage to handle batch numbers when doing bulk uploads.

Cons

The error message when an upload failed doesn't tell me anything. I wish there were a way to sort and filter my basic stock quantity on the product availability page through excel rather than having to go out of the application. Cancelling our subscription has been by far the worst experience ever. They make sure you never find the cancel button and force you to contact three separate people (sales) before allowing you to quit. This reporting thing is terrible too.

Initially, our company was a little disappointed with the initial implementation experience as they weren't well versed with these types of software and wasn't sure exactly what to ask for. However, after I was brought on board into the company, I was able to connect with Fishbowl Support for a retraining with our GM and was pleasantly surprised with the support team in walking us through explicit scenarios to ensure that we make the most of the software we currently leverage.

Pros

I like that it conveniently integrates with our Quickbooks Pro alongside it's ability to allow us to continue tracking our inventory, BOM, and overall Manufacturing needs as we are scaling quite a bit. It's nice to continue using the same software for our needs in the process of growth. It's perfect for small to mid-size businesses.

Cons

Fishbowl's interface could use some updating and modernization for UX purposes within all of the modules. Additionally, the software itself can a smidge complex with data migrations; however, that's not necessarily unique to Fishbowl and is a common pain point across similar software of this caliber.

We no longer run out of products in the peak seasons. In fact before Fishbowl, we would consistently oversell items we didn't even have on hand because the paper records always got messed up. But since Fishbowl keeps track of all the movement of those parts/products, I no longer have to call upset customers telling them their orders have to be canceled. I can view my inventory at home. We did have to find a way around how fishbowl handles work orders. It won't allow us to create a circular reference if we're making one product with another product. I no longer have to keep track of what my next purchase order number will be.

Pros

It has worked well enough, I use it every day to scan parts. So far it has not crashed (which is surprising since many of the pieces of software we purchase are complete garbage). Their tech support has been pretty good too, they respond right away.

Cons

The mobile app is super slow. And I hate that when you go to zero in a part's quantity, it removes the sub-location entirely. When I finally receive a shipment for the item I need to put into the new bins, I have to spend hours retyping the bin locations. It is a huge waste of my time. The process for doing bulk imports with serial numbers took forever.

We are currently transitioning from QuickBooks to Fishbowl, and so far we are very excited about the additional features and capabilities the system offers. Fishbowl provides much greater flexibility and customization, allowing us to adapt the software to our company's specific operational needs. The inventory management tools are robust, and the platform offers a level of control and visibility that goes beyond what we previously had. The transition process has been smooth, and we are looking forward to taking full advantage of the system's versatility as we continue to grow. Based on our experience so far, Fishbowl appears to be a powerful solution for businesses looking to improve inventory management and streamline their operations.

Pros

Its flexibility and the wide range of inventory management features it offers. The system can be adapted to fit our specific business processes rather than forcing us to change the way we work.

Cons

The initial learning curve was challenging due to the system's extensive features, but the Fishbowl team has been very helpful and has made the transition much easier.
