April 4, 2019 1.0 At first they supported their product well, but over time the technical prowess needed to support what I would consider a very incomplete WMS or ERP waned until they avoided our pleas for help entirely. As a multichannel merchant, this software cannot do what basic WMS software could a decade or more ago. I'll not even put our company name on this for fear we'll get less help than we're afforded now. Pros It does a great job of keeping inventory and an OK job of creating orders. Cons There is basically no support. Nobody ever answers the phone and emails often never get a response. Fishbowl as of 04/04/19 cannot support Nexus (tax law) states for us and their integrations for Shopify and Avalara specifically, are incomplete. Review Source RC Reynaldo C. We produce and resell quality products and supplies that help a practice be more efficient. We mostly deal with smaller practices; however we do deal with big medical hospitals and schools. Our goal is to partner with practices in order to provide everything it needs and grow together with them. Our last ERP software required double entry into two systems that were not connected. It also didn't fit our business practices anymore; we had outgrown it. So when we went looking for a new system, we knew that we wanted one based off of QuickBooks and started there. We narrowed it down to two software packages. Fishbowl's ease of use, excellent documentation, and use of wizards were key features we fell in love with. We have been using the software for two and a half months now and have never looked back. If you're thinking about going with Fishbowl, keep this in mind: they have database specialists that work with you to get your data entered into Fishbowl. The trainer came to our business, which gave them a better understanding of our business than just talking to someone over the phone. The support is great. Once everything is setup correctly, the software integrates seamlessly into our EDI, shipping and accounting software. We are about to integrate the eCommerce plugins Cons If someone accidentally reconciles a PO prior to the landed cost being entered, you can not adjust the unit cost of the lot. Easy sales order entry, easy invoicing. Cons You have to purchase every module that you will be needing. If later on you expand and need more functionality, you have to foot out more money. I was looking for a solution to give all my employees an easier option to request raw-materials, manage multiple types of inventory levels, and create economic reports with ease. We still currently have an in-house database-driven solution that does not connect to QuickBooks with a lot of the WIP inventory control, but it is slow and makes the day less productive. My review is simple, if you have an existing company with thousands of SKUs and you try to integrate and use this software with QuickBooks I would stop. The customer service and technical team after a purchased technical set-up help has completely let me down and is unresponsive because they to can not figure out the solution to why income accounts are going in as expenses when transferred between systems (this is just one of many account transfer errors). Its sad because I was looking for a system, and still am today, to streamline and make order processing/inventory control easier. The technical team is lacking and have not responded to any of my questions. Be careful, is my only suggestion when considering this software package because it is expensive and difficult to set up. It "supposedly" can do all of that stuff but it just isn't... Support = worst I have ever dealt with (I know more than they do after trying to figure it out for a few months). They take your money (Thousands of $$) for the initial purchase and then leave you hanging. Pros Ideologically it is the solution to all your business logistics/needs.
