However, as I learn how to work around its quirks, it is not so bad. It takes a lot of time, as mentioned it is not intuitive. Pros At first, there was not much I liked about Fishbowl. After many training hours and hiring a consultant to help with training, we are finally getting the hang of it. It is a very cost effective program compared to others out there. Cons It is overly complicated and not intuitive at all. I have worked with a number of inventory systems, a good one is hard to find that covers it all and well. If you do not have it set up properly in the beginning, it is a nightmare to figure out. Review Source Mai M. Particularly for our warehousing and QuickBooks integration. Cons NO cons so far! It's truly designed for small to midsize companies and we are very pleased with the implementation. I would recommend the product to another company. We had an issue recently that made Fishbowl feel like a nightmare. The customer support was helpful and diligent on getting the program back up and running. It is still not completely the way it was before the issue, but it is usable. Fishbowl still cannot explain what or why it happened with a good explanation or reason. We use Fishbowl a little different than the normal customer would which makes it a little more complex. Pros Inventory management is good. Wish there were more options in customizing reports. Customer support is responsive and helpful. Cons I think it is a little pricey. When something breaks in the system, it is not the easiest to reset to prior settings/mapping, etc. Review Source VH Veronica H. It would be a big improvement if Fishbowl could offer 24/7 customer service, especially to support users in different time zones and to address time-sensitive issues more efficiently. Switched from [Expandable ERP](https://www.capterra.com/p/42408/Expandable/) While Expandable offers some useful functionalities, I find the system to be both expensive and not very user-friendly. The interface feels outdated and unintuitive, which slows down daily tasks and makes onboarding more difficult. Given the cost, I would have expected a more modern and streamlined user experience. Their support has been instrumental in helping us move toward our go-live date more efficiently. In fact, they’ve allowed us to accelerate the go-live timeline by scheduling longer, more focused meetings to work closely with us. Their flexibility and commitment have made the entire process much smoother and more productive. Pros The platform integrates well with the systems currently in use, and the AI-driven reporting provides a strong foundation for generating clear, actionable insights. It also supports a wide range of warehouse operations, whether items are shipped directly, handled through a 3PL, or fulfilled via Amazon FBA. This flexibility makes it well-suited for diverse fulfillment strategies as operations scale. Cons One drawback during the research process was the lack of transparent pricing information online. While the demo was helpful and informative, it would be beneficial to have at least a general idea of the pricing tiers available. Cons Need more control over certain things like being able to send invoices with credit card payment links with our standard credit card processor. From the start, we were given an onboarding specialist who we worked with 1-on-1 to get all of our products imported and selling channels connected. They showed us everything we needed to know to use the software properly, and tailored the solutions specifically to our needs. The software is simple and easy to use. And if an issue arises, customer support is quick to answer and resolve the problem effectively. I am happy to have made the switch to Fishbowl, as it has saved us a lot of time and made our real-time inventory much more accurate than before. Thank you!!! It’s clear to me that there’s a lot of depth available once everything is configured. The inventory system has more detail than any system I have worked with in he past. Cons It can be difficult finding the correct report you need to get the data you are looking for. Learning curve is pretty flat. Support is fantastic Pros User Interface , Sophisticated Manufacturing , Purchase , Products , BOM , part modules. QuickBooks integration, Customization , Support and inventory management are pretty good as well . Fishbowls reporting and dashboards are pretty good. Support is always there whenever its needed. Cons RMA module is limited. No invoice module. Going back to the parent BOM in BOM module is not possible. We have to go to part module and click BOM and come back to the parent BOM. Fishbowl doesn't have some of the reporting tools that I need, but I hope to have this issue resolved soon with the Fishbowl team.
