The founders have many years of experience in this industry and knew what type of software we needed. We reviewed at least five software companies and, when considering price and performance, Fishbowl was a perfect match. Our IT company had experience with the Quick Books side and our cost account to be has experience with Fishbowl. We are new purchasers and have not even received the software yet. However, the company personnel made a very impressive sales presentation and covered all of the trigger points that sold us. I will be able to give a much more detailed review once we have put the software through a thorough workout. If the software performs anywhere near the presentation it should satisfy our needs. October 29, 2018 5.0 Pros The support team has been very helpful, the workflow is pretty intuitive and the reports included are great. The customer representative helped us get set up and gave us a few tutorials. Overall great product! Cons It's pretty pricey compared with some other inventory management software on the market but you get what you pay for. Pros It allows us manage the inventory in our warehouse and integrates with Quickbook pretty smoothly. It is user friendly and doesn't take much training before we can get started. Cons The customer service has some room for improvement and the report function is not very easy to use. Other than that, the software works great. They provide a free demo and followed up with phone calls and emails to answer any questions. That's excellent customer service. I'm seriously considering going with Liberty. I've checked out other similar companies who didnt even return my calls, and if they did, they were very unprofessional and rude. That shows me the customer service I can expect from them in the future, should I have problems. The Internet was also filled with complaints of the companies who provide terrible customer service. I suggest everyone to google "consignment Software" and read it. There is a lot of truth there. Thank you for being so professional and following up Fishbowl. It is user friendly and customer support is great. The trial period was very helpful and allowed us to practice on hand. Cons It is not specific to food manufacturing, so it made it a little difficult to adjust. And then we got the software! From the start the software took a while to get installed and to a usable state. Once some inventory was uploaded, it was very cumbersome and hard to use. it took many steps to go from order status to order fulfilled status. We were sold this would simple and seamless order fulfillment with inventory management. It was not! It took many days to get set up. And it took many steps to get orders fulfilled. The software was very hard to use and did not provide the functions that were presented. PO batch printing, batch shipping, automated order closure and email sent to customer. We like the program and have had minimal problems with it. This program is very user friendly and easy to navigate. We have had a few issues with inventory getting stuck in the system, but the support team has been very helpful, and usually has the problem taken care of within the day. Efficiency is now at an all-time high. Pros What you see is what you get, there are no surprises and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
