Has been a bad experience for me and the staff. Cons Very difficult setup process. No phone support during hours. A wide range of reports are provided, most of which are easily configurable. Cons Very poor support when problems arise which take an extended period of time to resolve, and often end up with the customer being passed from person to person. The transition was fairly painless. We took the opportunity to clean up our inventory data and only had about 2000 items to convert to Fishbowl. Now we are regularly adding new products. Fishbowl's support has been patient and positive. Online chat is a great way to answer a quick question. The reports system provided by Fishbowl needs some improvement. There's very little ability to make or format the report to our liking. I think we've only begun to realize the potential of Fishbowl, but there is a learning curve, so we're looking forward to increasing our experience and knowledge so we can get the most out of it. We have people in our organization who have never used this type of software in the past and find it to be very intuitive and easy to learn. Onboarding the system was painless, and it synced to QuickBooks seamlessly. The support has been exceptional, and they have some great CSR's to lend a hand in a chat or over the phone. I would highly recommend FB Inventory to anyone who assembles kits. The flexibility to have variable assemblies is a great feature. One of the system highlights was how well it handles multiple locations. As a contract manufacturer, it's what sold us on Fishbowl. Great job guys! Review Source TG Todd G. Fishbowl support team is excellent. Fishbowl is a great value. Cons Setting up plug-ins have been challenging. To be able to find useful information, you either need to pay thousands for a report, thousands for a data query, or have an IT expert on staff. This is the main drawback. The software works well most of the time, though it does have enough errors to necessitate a support contract. Pros Good at organizing and processing orders. Cons Data searches and reporting. It's an economical solution to the generic inventory management tools provided in Quickbooks software. Customer support and training through the setup and integration of Fishbowl was fantastic. Their support staff is willing to help at every turn and made what turned out to be a more complicated integration than we expected, easy and pretty stress free. From start to finish, we were up and running in really short order and after a few mis-steps on our end, haven't had to worry about it through multiple updates in the 18 months we have used it. It does most everything we need without too many challenges. Cons Fishbowl freezes up on a regular basis. CEO Used the software for: ### "a robust sytsem that works well with Quickbooks" February 9, 2015 5.0 i have used FB in my company for 5 plus years and have been very happy with it. we are using the version that is installed on our server. we use the system with 5 users and high number of parts and products - several thousand. barring doing required updates we have had no problems. user support was always very prompt and professional and knowledgeable, if needed. i would buy Fishbowl again in a heartbeat since it allowed me to enable my sales guys and my shipping person to be able to look at all pertinent information online and in real time. furthermore we have developed,with the help of FB, an inventory interface to populate our company's website.
