This is a great program that coincides with Quickbooks. At first, it is tough the learn. The tutorial can be hard follow at times. It is highly effective at keeping track of parts, costs and products. Counts are always right. Inputting everything is a breeze. It's when you need to change something is when the flaws come into play. Once you have a price set in inventory, it is difficult to change. I'd also like to see better customizable aspects built into the reports. In all, it's a great add on, just have to get used to its minor quirks.

Pros

Once you get familiar with how it works, all modules work similarly. Entering data manually is easy, as is importing data.

Cons

The features aren't all documented well enough so we spend a good deal of time asking questions of support.

We have multiple inventory locations and warehouses and being able to quickly efficiently track and manage quantities and locations has saved us tons of time and headache.

Cons

The graphics and user interface could be modernized a little, but overall we are happy with it.

If you have any problem or questions you will have to wait 5 hrs for someone to call you back and there phone support you can not get ahold of anyone you just have to leave a message sit around and hope they call you back. So if your a fast paced business and cant afford a day of not being able to fix something def not recomended to go with fishbowl

We've been using Fishbowl since 2009. We have a distribution company and needed an inventory program, because we were making use of excel spreadsheets and check sheets. We love that items come in via purchase orders and go out via sales orders, which gives us a good handle on our inventory. We also make use of the manufacturing module because we assemble some of our products. Another feature we love about Fishbowl is its integration with QuickBooks. The training tutorials were very helpful and the live chat is invaluable!

While I work on Fishbowl, my questions were not answered soon enough. The training scheduling is happening late. It did not go well.
