Great experience. He was able to answer all of my questions and was EXTREMELY patient and helpful. I give Travis 5 stars for sure. I'm giving the overall FishBowl experience a 4 because we keep encountering issues that even the customer service agents agree are strange...mostly not being able to delete or change certain items/names etc.

The best thing about Fishbowl is their online remote access help. If you have a problem they can easily assist via your computer. The time it takes is usually quicker for them to help navigate through your computer/set up and then you are back working in no time. For a first time inventory user, I have found Fishbowl to work quite well.

For manufacturing, this software just makes great sense. The features fit the needs perfectly and the pricing is right. Customer Service is quick and always results in us understanding more and finding better ways to get the job done. Now that I use email instead of calling it seems to be easier to get help . The only thing for me is that I am not always sitting in front of the computer when I get the return call so it may be easier for me if a time was scheduled for the call. You have come a long way with support over the years I have been working with you..

Pros

They are your best friend until you make the purchase. After that good look getting someone on the phone or even getting your problem solved in a timely manner.

Cons

Their customer service stinks. I was relayed from one person to the next then to another company who in the end told me they think Fishbowl directed me to them because they don't have "trained" employees that are specialized with my needs to help me solve my problem. Very frustrating

We have been experiencing unit costing errors for over a year. Customer support said they are aware of the "Billion dollar" bug but unable to fix it. They had us reinstall clean database and upgrade to Fishbowl 2016 in early January. Problems continue to exist. Customer Support no help. Software is buggy.

Highly Highly recommend this program for inventory management.

Pros

The menu's are made in a way that makes it easy to find what you need. Product images on your items list a plus , low inventory alert a plus. Easy instructions and templates for import and exporting data. Many shortcuts to do more tasks in less time!

Cons

The Gray, black, White and Green layout theme seems a little serious and I think my workers would appreciate a more cheerful color scheme.

If you are considering using Fishbowl, be sure you understand your requirements before evaluating the software to make sure it will meet your needs.

Fishbowl is user friendly and customer service is always a pleasure to work with. When I came to work for Signal I knew nothing about Fishbowl but it was very easy for me to learn. We had a server crash and the customer service folks helped me to rebuild our data so we didn't loose any information.

Fairly easy to use; support is great. The cons are that I have a van route service with 5 vans. These vans use Lilypad as the remote program which ties into Fishbowl. There is no way to set the customer lists up on routes, and no way to subtotal an invoice when a customer has multiple cabinets.

It has a lot of functionality to it. Fairly easy to use. Do consistent upgrades to make product better. Con: custom reports are necessary to purchase for easy formatting-SHOULD NOT BE THIS WAY! Have to sometimes wait for support to call you back which could shut you down temporarily.

Limited reports and lacks customization for layours to cater to specific company's needs. Hard to navigate and doesn't allow to correct mistakes. I believe this is the biggest issue, when we make a mistake and can't go back to void and fix, end up having to do many more steps to correct.

Cons

What I like the least about Fishbowl is the look and feel from this tool. It looks a little bit old to me.

We are now six months into our Fishbowl deployment and I must say, our expectations have been surpassed. May it be functionality or support, the Fishbowl team delivers. I would also like to note that the support team goes the extra mile! Garret has been great!

Pros

Ease of use and scalability.

Cons

Though the product documentation and wiki are excellent, there are some holes that require the support team to answer. At times, clear answers are not provided upon first inquiry.

This is a great inventory system. The upgrade process needs improvement and the POS needs work. Support is always excellent.

Pros

The inventory system is great and richly functional. It is good for manufacturing. The plugins are excellent. Support is great!

Cons

Upgrading the system is problematic and usually requires support to address problems. The checkout program is slow, cumbersome & not designed for transactional retail stores.

Fishbowl pretty much does everything we need it to. It would be nice to have a little more flexibility in choosing the data that we need to see when running certain reports. We learn more and more every day what it can do for us and it has improved our operations.

Pros

This product is terrible for inventory, especially when it comes to manufacturing. I would strongly advice any to steer clear of Fishbowl. It is very time consuming and hard to manage.

Cons

The training took forever. The software trainers did not understand our product nor try to understand our product. It was very hard to manage and took a huge amount of time to get things into the software.
