Pros

How user friendly it is as a inventory system. I came in with no experience and learnt what I needed to fairly quickly

Cons

There was an update that wiped our system so we aren't sure what we could have done to prevent that. I cant really say that its a con ;moreover an inconvenience

Excellent! Customer service is very responsive, and the overall program is solid!

Pros

Ease of usage and ability to be flexible with our operations. We run custom electrical panels and this allows us to use the Bill of Materials module as a base, and add/delete parts in the Manufacturing module for the customs.

Cons

Some reports are not readily available and have to find work-arounds. Like annual part usage to date. I can't seem to find or modify a report that will tell me how many of a certain part I have used that is filtered by dates.

Overall great, really useful for SMEs and with interesting pricing. Also offers a wide portfolio of functionalities and applications converging together

Pros

Simple and straight to the point, for small and medium businesses getting into more advanced stage than spreadsheets, but not yet ready for costly and complex ERP. Flexible software, well integrated with QuickBook and cheap.

Cons

Old user interface and limited native extracts and reporting capabilities, aside core strength inventory management functionalities

It's pretty good. It's harder to correct mistakes (such as clicking too fast or on the wrong key) and some things I wish the software was better geared towards software such as QB when it comes to Accounting related subjects.

Pros

I like that the FB system doesn't allow you to do anything unless Inventory shows the product and that you need to make the necessary adjustments to be able to move forward with an order.

Cons

I don't like that our mistakes are harder to correct.

Good so far. We enjoy the customer support.

Pros

Compatibility with Quickbooks and ability to do both Inventory and accounting.

Cons

Weird connection between Parts and Product. Doesn't always correlate. Very confusing.

Switched from

Pros

The integration was simple and quick to do. Very helpful staff.

Cons

The amount of clicks to get the account set up. Some of the processes and names of should be able to be changed to fit your person business.

### "Great Experience "

Our experience was great, the team walked us through the systems capabilities, and showed us the in's and out's before we committed, and it has worked great for us! Thank Fishbowl!

Pros

Helpful Integration Team, we are using the system primarily for manufacturing inventory management, and were able to find ways to use functions in various ways to give the outcome we were looking for.

Cons

Time: the whole process took about a month, which is about what i had expected, but wish we weren't down without a system for such an extended period, but that is partially because we had some hiccups on our end!

It seems to me a well developed application in which you can do multiple processes. It is very easy to integrate with other applications which makes it very user friendly.

Pros

I like its multiple functions. It is also designed to be easily integrated with multiple platforms.

Cons

Upgrades. They are very frequent which makes the work difficult.

Pros

Fishbowl is user friendly to first time inventory software companies/users. It allows for a lot of customization which is great for organizations that have warehouse practices outside the standard norms. The remote assist is amazing and super helpful (never had a bad experience with this).

Cons

It is not MacBook friendly (crashes on it's own, command features are different from the norm (ex. cant copy and paste with ctrl+c or ctrl+v)

We've been using Fishbowl for years and while there have been some limitations, we have found a way to work around those issues.

Pros

Great customer service. Fast response time is appreciated. Nice being able to email sales orders and transfer orders.

Cons

Managing inventory in our sales channel has been a challenge due to the way Shopify reconciles returns/exchanges.

### "Terrible Service and Program"

HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time and headache with no help. Do more research and avoid fishbowl. The system needs probably 2 more years before it is really ready for use. They just want money so the rolled it out.

Pros

You can see inventory levels on what is actually in your warehouse, what has been allocated and what is also incoming.

Cons

Everything else about the system. They have the worse customer service i have ever seen. The system is extremely limited on its abilities to do anything. Drive is new and not ready to be used.

Its a very good system especially for production. Learning tutorial is very handy.

Pros

Data Tables where you can make your own reports. Feature Like in BOM where you can set the Manufacturing to Auto Create. Support Team is very prompt to respond.

Cons

Charges for customize report. Using data sql and utilize to make your own report feature missing. When Updating sales orders not updating in Manufacturing module instantly.

We weren't successful in integrating Airtable and Fishbowl.

If I want to compare it with other ERP systems, I can say that working with Fishbowl is really understandable and straightforward for users. But as I said, if we had visual reports for the other modules and a better graphical view for the workspace, it would be great!

1- Cost Calculation 2- Inventory Updates

Cons

1- Report Gadgets for the modules like Manufacturing and purchasing. 2- The view and work space could be more user-friendly.

### "Boxstorm to Fishbowl"

I've only been using it for a week, and so far so good.

Pros

The switch from BoxStorm to Fishbowl has been fairly seamless.

Cons

So far, the inventory valuation report is not able to filter by "tags" and the location. The emailing PO option does not have a savable "standard" message.

We spent a pretty penny on this software, being lied to purchase it then was still asked to renew it. I would not recommend using this software or paying this company a dime to use this product. They do not have the best interest in their customers. They just want to receive their money and move on. It is sad they took advantage and manipulated of a small business to receive a check. So ethically wrong.

Pros

Ideally, it was a great concept. The sale representatives are money hungry and will do anything to make a sale even when it will not work for your company.

Cons

Our company was lied to so we would purchase this software back in 2020. When we entered the training, we realized we had to manually import and export our data from Quicksbooks to Fishbowl. Something that was not going to work for us. We made this clear and was overlooked. We then kept receiving emails asking to pay for the new year's subscription. Still no way to fix this issue for us nor refund. We paid thousands of dollars for a system that was promised to work for our company, was lied to, no refund and the kept getting asked to pay for the upcoming year... talk about unprofessionalism and money hungry.

Sometimes the software can be laggy along with the fact that integration doesn't work a fair amount of the time.

the customer service was amazing. There was very little wait time and the person was able to walk me through the process clearly. It saved me possibly hours of my own time.

Pros

customer service was the best part. very direct and clear

Cons

aren't really any cons at this point. There are a few things on fishbowl client that are not that direct. example- when adjusting the inventory, there is no option to just adjust. You have to hit the "cycle" button. It's just getting used to the lingo of the software.
