While the platform works well initially, the risk management and compliance process can result in sudden account closures and prolonged fund holds. My account was closed on Feb 28, 2025, and even after more than a year, my available balance has not been released. Despite multiple follow-ups, including escalations, there has been no resolution. I would advise businesses to carefully consider these risks. **Pros:** Stripe has a clean interface and is relatively easy to set up. The platform integrates well with various tools and provides a smooth payment experience while the account is active. **Cons:** Account closures and fund holds are a major concern. In my case, Stripe held my balance of $3,425.80 for over 1 year after account closure, despite no chargebacks or disputes.
