I like the Sigma feature, that makes exporting records so I can process them into our donor interface really easy. Cons I do not like that you have to create a customer, add a card, and then add a subscription. If I am setting up a subscription over the phone it is just easier and less steps to be able to have the customer created as I am creating the subscription. CTO Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Very easy to start using" July 28, 2020 5.0 Pretty easy and straightforward implementation, testing enviroment with testing cards made it extra easy to implement (if you have never implemented a payment gateway, it's better to learn basic concepts before jumping in). Pros I like most that it is pretty well documented and provides examples for most common languages. It also provides a very clear and detailed documentation for its API. also provides a testing enviroment that allows you to make sure everything related to transactions is in place . Cons It has a learning curve, which apparently isn't very small, specially about its different concepts, specially if you want to fully administer your account with operations like managing products, subscriptions, etc. At some point it got confusing because you can charge for products that aren't in your catalog and doesn't add them to the catalog dynamically. Pros It was so quick to setup and receive all the information necessary and the support from to setup a payment flow in our app. Overall the product gives great visual alternatives that they offer for free already implemented and as well gives lots of customization to be made. Cons Depending on the business you'd like to make and the countries you are operating, it can be frustrating the fees and taxes applied when you connect it with an account. But it's also the same for other competitors, some products works well and are more affordable if operated in some countries with some financial institutions, and other works better in other places. Our client love that they can pay by credit card. We receive the payement quickly and it's easy to set a retainer too so we receive the amount every month. Cons It's take 5 at 7 days before we receive the money in our account. We should receive a commission from in US but the payement never got thru our account. We tried to resolve the problem with the customer team at stripe but the only solution is to open an US bank account .... we are in Canada... it's not that simple. Review Source AS Allison S. Whilst the cost is as one would expect, therefore I cannot really single it out for its service/processing fees as this is not the stand-out, what you can do with Stripe is. While it is a subscription-based platform, it is worth it because it is so good at what it does, especially for me and my tight wallet. Pros With fantastic Multi-currency support and user-friendly interface, there is everything you really need in one online media powerhouse like . Whilst most take for granted developer tools like accepting credit cards, I don't, I love that Stripe accepts credit cards and has transacted with so many businesses which speak volumes to its credibility. Cons Apart from some stability issues that I've noted has already been corrected, there is nothing bad I can really comment on when it comes to as it meets all my merchant needs in an affordable platform. Onboarding has been pretty fast although I did need some advice from their support team on understanding how stripe connect works. Their support team is great and always willing to help. Pros Great for startups and better alternative to paypal as their comissions are lower. Only 1,4% + 0,25 for european cards and 2,9% + 0,25€ for non european transactions. Its scalable as you can use this solution for local & international transactions. Great support form their team Cons You probably need some technical background if you want to integrate it with your ecommerce site with your own costumisation. As I own a marketplace, I would like payouts for my clients bank accounts to be in less than 6 days. September 5, 2019 5.0 Overall my experience with is good. I am using it for my business. I sell my book in conferences and workshops where clients just give me credit card. I can just slide the card, type in info and the purchase is done! I also send invoices that are easy to make for online programs and coaching. Overall - I recommend it! Pros I like that I just can attach it to my phone and sell my products on the go. I like that there is an app were I can see all my invoices, and create new invoices and see when the client paid. I like that it has reminders to make sure I get paid. Cons I am not that impressed with the ease on the app, it needs more time and input for me to actually make a sale, and sometimes it takes time for it to work in the first place, and clients look annoyed by it. I wish it would be one page for charges where I could put the least info possible for the easy check out. I also would lie the same rate for invoices and credit card reading fees. Cons It could be cheaper, it is unfortunate that transaction fees are so high while bank transfers are basically free, and bank card interbank fees are also much lower now than they were 10 years ago. December 24, 2020 5.0 To sign on and get started was simple and was able to get going in no time. we even integrated with our medical records program to sync payments and was able to do it in no time thankfully. Pros During the pandemic we have had a lot of clients that want to pay remotely and with they have been able to do just that without any issues. They are able to log in with no problems and make payment on their account. Easy to use and was easy to set up. Cons I've had a few customers ask me, "What is ," so I think everyone is cool with Paypal but I've not heard any customer complaints about using it. Cons It's difficult to search for a recurring payment customer. I can see the email associated with the payment but I'm not always sure who that is and when I search it I get the last payment information instead of the customer information.
