Pros

Stripe just works. Thats the best thing about it. It can do a lot or it can just do what you need it to.

Cons

Probably how technical it can be. If you really want to peel back the layers it can get daunting for real.

We connected Stripe as a Merchant on Wufoo to collect one off Payments on forms. Its simple and secure to use to collect payments.

Pros

It was quite easy to setup and cheap too. Transferring payments from Stripe to our business bank account is very simple and it meets our compliance needs.

Cons

We haven't experienced any negative issues with Stripe so far, I guess it was just a matter of putting in time to learn how to use all the features.

My overall experience though has been satisfactory. The software supports my business needs and my customers are satisfied with the payment structure.

Pros

I liked being able to integrate payment processing with a streamlined setup into business structure. They have a wide variety of payment methods with multi-currency support.

Cons

Some drawbacks require coding knowledge and the number of features can be overwhelming to keep up with.

Overall ok but higher fee and having to maintain two accounts are not the best experience. Feel like I am kept hostage of Stripe as a result of the SaaS tool we chose to use.

Pros

It seems comprehensive and the reporting tools are helping so I am generally happy with the tool so far.

Cons

I have two streams of revenue but it is not letting me consolidate both streams so I have to maintain two accounts. Also the process fee and payment timeline is worse than another tool I use.

Overall, I've had a great experience using Stripe. It’s dependable, straightforward, and gives me confidence that payments are handled securely and efficiently. The dashboard is intuitive, and payouts are timely. The only downside is the transaction fees, but the convenience and reliability have made it worth it

Pros

I use Stripe for credit card payment processing and am happy with it. The few times I have needed customer support to work out an issue, my questions have been answered. Payouts are fast and the system is easy to use. Highly recommend!

Cons

Stripe’s fees are the one part of the experience that stands out as an area for improvement; however, the platform’s overall value and performance justify the cost.

Overall, we are very pleased with Stripe. Stripe is deeply integrated with our current stack and we don't have any reason to change.

Pros

Stripe has been a great payment processor for our online training platform, seamlessly integrating with WooCommerce and WooCommerce subscriptions, allowing us to offer multiple payment options to our customers.

Cons

Stripe's payment processing fees are slightly higher than the payment processor we use for the products side of our business. We have been able to negotiate our fees down with the other processor and haven't been able to successfully lower fees with Stripe.

Stipe is linked with my EHR. Setting this up was very easy and I have had no issues with receiving timely payments.

Pros

I use Stripe with my EHR and they sync very well together. Fees are average, and I have had no negative issues.

Cons

I use Stripe with my EHR, but would like to be able to use it for other payments instead of the payment system I have been using.

What I like the most about Stripe is its global reach and that it’s built to grow with your business.

Cons

I feel the customer support can improve their service and their response rate should be faster. Us business owners, need reliable and fast support.

Pros

Stripe is very easy to use, the dashboard is friendly. Their overall costs are good. The customer support is easy to deal with.

Cons

They are not custom built and not really made for my short term rental business. The foreign fees were a bite too high.

I'm happy. I last used a regular payment processor with a broker and it seemed like a lot of work compared to this.

Pros

One of the easist payment integrations I have ever used. It was easy to set up, has great reports and I feel like even beginning business owners can accept payments from day one.

Cons

I would have liked a heads up on international card fees prior to running a payment for a client. Entering the card number could have included a notification, thereby offering me the opportunity to recover this fee from my client.

overall a very smooth and friction free product, you can issue refunds to customers cards easily as well but yes quite expensive for small business.

Pros

Yes, kind of one of the best product for taking payments on your e-commerce site, very easy to connect and no technical knowledge needed for the initial set up.

Cons

Yes there are kind of Industry leaders now in , so good product comes high price but the thins is there is no flat fee system and they charge per transaction and fees Is quite high.

Pros

I love how I can customize it to my business. My clients can now pay with their credit cards for my services which makes it easier and more flexible for them as well as easier to manage for me.

Cons

Stripe takes a fee off of the transactions which decreases my revenue. I would have liked to see more options for type of payments available.

Very bad, I lost money in several cases because of stripe. Also there are so many failed orders.

Pros

Its not very hard to use, but needs improvement.

Cons

The way they treat the disputes of our clients. They don't care much for the documents they just follow the process and decide always in favour of the buyer.

We save quicker, catch problems sooner, and have refunds tidily kept in hand. Overall value for money is great, and purchases run smoothly for lessons, charters, and gear additions.

Pros

Stripe simplifies credit card refunds and payment, and the dashboard is easy to use for account maintenance and tracking payouts. Usability is good with neat logs that enable speedy reconciliations of trip reservations and equipment rentals.

Cons

Random bugs or authentication checks every now and then slow down settlements, and support is inconsistent in acting quickly on complicated cases. Certain controls are invisible, so there's a lag in adjusting policies.

I wouldn't recommend Stripe to anyone, ever. We were dealing with fraudulent credit card disputes for almost $50K in charges and they did not help at all.

Pros

If I could leave no stars I would. I absolutely do not recommend using Stripe, especially if you are a new business owner. Me and my husband opened a business and we were providing services for a larger company. We had a signed contract for the services and payments. The customer gave all their payment information to us and we processed them based on what was listed on the contract. We have dozens of correspondence with the customer regarding the agreed upon payment arrangement. The customer turned out to be terrible people who rip off small businesses, we found this out from 4 other small family owned businesses who had provided them services. They disputed all the charges equalling up to almost $50k. Even though we submitted all the proof to Stripe, they did nothing. They didn't look into it, just gave them back their money. It was crazy we couldn't believe it. I wouldn't recommend stripe to anyone.

Cons

Customer Service is terrible. They legitimately approved fraudulent credit card activity with no investigation.

Overall, in the time we have used Stripe I have not seen any major issues, and it seems to work well for us.

Pros

Stripe has been very easy for us to use with little to know issues in the time that we having been using this service. We do not receive a whole lot of card payments, but it works well for us as of today.

Cons

Like all things there are fees associated with using credit cards processing programs, but that is not a major issue because it is now a common thing.

Overall, I've had an excellent experience using Stripe to process private pay patient payments. They provide a seamless service for both patients and providers. I can't recommend them enough!

Pros

Stripe provides a way for me, as a therapist in solo private practice, to take credit card payments in a secure environment. They link with CarePatron, another excellent software, which allows me to manage all self-pay patient in one easy to use platform. I've never experienced bugs and issues with Stripe in over a year of consistent use so haven't needed to contact their customer support, but their site makes it obvious and easy to do so if needed. They provide excellent value for the money and allow for customization to boot! 10/10, would recommend.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike about using Stripe. It is rare a software runs so seamlessly. It would be easy to forget I use Stripe because it works so well, I don't even have to think about it.

We've used stripe as our primary business payment system and have been incredibly impressed with it's simplicity but powerful system. It's capable of handling both short term transactions and longer term enterprise deals without much learning curve. With short term transactions, there may be prorations, refunds, automatic payments and there is an easy path to navigating, and monitoring all within Stripe.

Pros

Stripe is an efficient and easy Payment System that we have incorporated across our B2C and B2B operations. It's a simple to use tool, and easy for both the company and the customer to set up one time payments, reoccurring billing, and PO Payments in Enterprise Procurment Systems.

Cons

There aren't many disadvantages that we have experienced. Billing set up can be a little manual to establish at the start, but ultimately it's an easy to understand platform.

Overall, my experience with Stripe has been very positive. It’s a reliable and flexible payment platform that works well for processing donations and online transactions. While there is a bit of a learning curve with more advanced features, it's a strong payment processing solution for any organization.

Pros

Stripe is extremely user-friendly and seamlessly integrates with various platforms. In our case, it made it very easy for our nonprofit to accept and process online donations. The setup process is simple, and once it’s operational, transaction receipts and daily deposits work smoothly! There are many customization options available for payment forms, reporting, and integrations.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features and plug-ins can feel a bit technical, especially if you’re not familiar with payment processing systems or their integrations. Fees can also add up, particularly for smaller transactions, as we learned during our annual appeal launch, when processing a high volume of gifts at one time.

Positive until it wasn’t, which is all that really matters. If you’re a freelancer in digital services stripe is not a good platform for you

Pros

Ease of use is great, and stripe supported my freelance business payments and invoicing for multiple years with no issues

Cons

Stripe has shut down my account of multiple years after determining that it is “offering unrealistic financial outcomes or quick monetary gains with minimal effort.” I run digital ads for multiple Fortune 500 clients and this couldn’t be further from true, and honestly not sure how any of my invoices would give this idea to them. There are plenty of other invoicing services out there.

Unfortunately, my overall experience with Stripe has been very disappointing. While the product is easy to use, the lack of reliable merchant support, unpredictable account holds, and vague policies make it risky to use for serious business operations. Would not reccomend.

Pros

Good things end here. Stripe is very easy to install and integrate, especially for developers. The checkout experience is smooth and fast for the customer, which helps with conversions. The interface is clean and the API is well documented, making it ideal for rapid deployment.

Cons

The merchant service is extremely poor. Chargeback management is unclear and unsupportive. Assistance is slow, generic, and often unhelpful. Stripe has frozen funds without explanation, and several hidden fees appear over time without transparency.
