Pros It's very easy to process or refund payments from customers. They also keep track of all earned income and you can easily find a statement for any month or time period to keep track of earnings. When I began using the platform it was extremely difficult to navigate, I could barely set up a subscription on my own but now it is SOOO EASY to use!! And their support is absolutely amazing. Cons I suppose the design aspect could use some work, if I HAVE to pick something. Compared to Square, for example, the design is not a major focus but it does add to the user experience and that could use some work. But I feel a \*little\* better seeing the branding because I know that at least they do their part securely. Pros is accessible and straight-forward. Because it's so well-known, it also acts as a trust factor to users. Once you set up an account, the API is ridiculously easy to use because it's integrated with every e-commerce solution available. I've also used it (as a customer) with a Point-of-sale card reader and I feel more comfortable because I know it's secure. The top two things when considering a payment processor is ease-of-use and security. And Stripe ticks both boxes, so we've been very happy overall. Cons Recently they changed how refunds work with WooCommerce and the plugin, and it doesn't work as well for us. But that's pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. Easy to implement this system for credit card payment collections. Stripe is an accurate, easy to use and user-friendly sofware. Pros I've been using this software at a few companies to collect credit card payments from customers and have always been happy with . They have an API that connects to our system and it is simple to reconcile the amount of payments collected. Stripe has great reporting capabilities too. It is easy to pull any report (all transactions, summary or detail, numerous reconciliation reports). Their customer service is great too, easy to reach and is very responsive. Cons Unfortunately, doesn't have a sync with our accounting system which would make it easier for our accounting team to import and reconcile transactions and revenue. Hopefully this feature will be enabled soon. Pros The biggest thing I live is that I can have reoccurring payments for my clients. Once they are set up, my clients are charged monthly and when they are not a client anymore, I can take them off with one click. The platform is simple and straightforward. I can easily view my transactions and the breakdown of fees. I can also see if there are any declined transactions and it will provide the reason for the failure. The processing fees are pretty comparable to other options in the market. It works seamlessly with Squarespace, which makes transactions easy. Cons My biggest complaint about is how long it takes to get your money. I also use Square for credit card transactions and I always get my money the next day. Stripe can take 3-4 days to send my money to my bank. I also would love to get notifications when credit cards are declined. I had a regular customer try to order and she didn't realize it hadn't gone through, so she was awaiting her order. If I had seen the payment failure, I could have reached out to her to resolve the issue. It seamlessly integrates with our business software and makes accepting money from clients super easy. It's easy to view all transactions, payouts and fees from their website so we always know exactly where our money is. Pros is very easy to use. The website has detailed tracking of all payments made and transfers to our bank and all fees that they charge. We are able to view exact transactions for certain date ranges which is helpful and it is very easy to track all transactions through their website. I also love that is integrates perfectly with my business software which is PetSitClick. Cons The payouts with are fairly quick, we get our money within a few business days, but faster would always be better. They do offer instant payouts for a fee if ever needed, but a faster transaction would be nice. The main problem is that bank credits are not identified leading to never ending awkward reconciliation with the sending software. Worse still, the payments are listed gross of charges whilst the credits appear net. i.e. they DONT MATCH!!! So you have to guess for example that 237.37 relates to the credit sent of 245.50.
