I have had nothing but great experiences with them, and I plan to use stripe with all of my future businesses. Pros have been a Stripe customer for over two years, during which all of my business transactions have been processed through their platform. The processing fees are competitive, and they offer the option for instant payouts, allowing funds to be transferred to your bank account within minutes. Additionally, Stripe provides business loans based on monthly revenue, which are typically available after maintaining a consistent relationship with the platform for a certain period. April 28, 2026 4.0 It is ok for domestic transactions but I wouldn't recommend it if you are going to be doing global transactions. Pros It is still a great alternative to PayPal and works great for woocommerce. It offers great payment options including Cash App and Affirm Cons Setup is able to be a little complicated, and also probably not the best choice when it comes to doing international business because they do not act as a Merchant of Records which means you have to handle VAT yourself for all the different countries. Pros Stripe was able to link with our payroll app (remote) they were able to offer me the ability to connect my Bancolombia account and receive my payroll. It provides updates regarding when the payment has been received, in process, and settled with my bank. Cons There can be moment where payments that arrive earlier or later than the expected dates Stripe provides, I believe this is not considering some local holidays that can impact the date, if so they will inform you through email once it has updates. It would take a lot to make me change. Pros Stripe makes it SO, SO easy to create products at different prices, in different currencies, with single use and recurring coupons.....EVERYTHING I could want in a payment processor, Stripe does. Pros Despite being a fairly complex product, it was pretty easy to set Stripe up in my small business. I like that it can be as simple or complex as you need it to be, depending on business needs. Cons Because I don't need to log into the platform very often, it can be confusing to find my way around again each time as some functionalities aren't located where I would expect them to be based on UI layout. I am also eager to implement the multi-step payment sharing across platforms. I had very good experience overall. Pros Stripe interface is very good, simple and easy to use. It gives you a well-knitted dashboard to track incoming and outgoing in a first glance. Stripe is very adopt-friendly, can be plugged-in with any existing tech stack (including low or no-code way). Cons No cons as such, but just to list one, In my country (India), people extensively use Unified Payment Interface linked with credit and debit accounts and that is not currently supported method. Pros It's easy to use the tap feature and customer service is readily available when neded. I also like that I can accept payments via swipe or card insert. Cons Occasionally it won't accept card payments at the time of payment collection but I think that's often resolved by turning machine off/on. The challenge is that it takes time. I also wish there was an indicator that demonstrated which way to swipe the card when necessary and up or down facing. I love how easy it is to use and that it’s compliant. Cons The pricing is very high. It’s hard to track payments as they come through 2 weeks later than when you received them. You add your credit card details, it gets encrypted, make your payment, never hear of any fraud. Refunds are easy to get if needed. International credit card payments are not always safe, but with Stripe you are in good hands. You can add more than one credit card at a time. I occasionally buy stuff from UK, through an application that uses Stripe. Works great. Cons From user perspective there are no cons.
