Overall experience with stripe is great. We use Stripe for card payments receiving gateways for our client's eCommerce websites. We highly recommend using Stripe for everyone if you are a merchant and have shop online. As it's easy to receive payments for cards.

Pros

Stripe is a lifesaver when it comes to collect card payments from customers. Easy to use UI and UX. Heavy supported web apps. High rich API supports. No required opening an account for making a payment.

Cons

So far found no issues yet on stripe. We here use it on our client's website developments on our web platform.

Varie volte mi bloccava i pagamenti oppure generava gli ordini sul mio sito senza che il cliente avesse pagato. Dopo un pò sono stato costretto a cambiare virando sulla concorrenza.

Cons

I think it should have some sort of pop up / a ban or something to alert the customer service about an attempt of fraud.

easy to use but the the customer support is a deterrent. could be very costly if you are in a business that has a high dispute rate.

Pros

one of the greatest features is that the cost is fixed as a percentage so there is no guessing as to the processing fees easy to account for and very easy to manage your transactions

Cons

the thing that i hate the least about this is that you cannot get a live person on the phone and you have to deal with issues via their portal, cant manage disputes very well.

Stripe is a great option for payments as it can accept multiple currency types. There are massive benefits for small to medium business for using this system including the integration that it already has for different online shopping carts making the process so much more easier. High recommendation!

Pros

The system has great subscription plans which are transparent and up front about pricing that also include no set up fees. The system supports a variety of payment methods and also supports digital wallets which in my opinion is a massive advantage. 24/7 customer support has to be some of the best customer support I have ever experienced for anything. They are extremely helpful and prompt with the support.

Cons

I have not encountered any negatives during my use of this system

Pros

Easiest way to set up payments for your mobile or web app via API.

Cons

Wish Stripe had an EFT/Debit option in Canada, like the ACH option they have in the US. This means we need to use two separate tools to achieve the same results (credit cards / direct debit transactions). Can get quite pricey (vs. some other competition - you pay for convenience)

Overrated and a horrible value for your money

Cons

Our software chose Stripe as our dedicated payments processor because they promised superior customer service and competitive rates for our clients, but this was a mirage.Stripe abandoned us once we selected them as our payments processor.The Sales team disappeared once we signed a contract and support was limited to emails and chat - absolutely pathetic. Stripe nickled and dimed our clients and our company to death. During the sale process, Stripe promised to meet our beat our clients' rates, but in actuality, they completely screwed us. Clients of ours that were processing over per month were quoted rates + transaction fee. Stripe treated everyone of our clients as if they were a new business with no sales history. We have since abandoned Stripe for CardConnect - this is the best decision we have ever made!

Pros

I like how Stripe integrates with Xero, and it also has an API for deeper integration into your own systems. It has a very clean and easy to use dashboard, and the fees are very reasonable. No monthly fee either, so if your volumes and usage are low there's no barrier to entry, as it were.

Cons

It would be great if Stripe could also launch a card reader for face-to-face transactions, so that you don't have to use something like PayPal Here or SumUp for that - having everything with one provider would be easier.

Pros

Stripe seamlessly integrates into various softwares and websites, and streamlines our subscription renewals and initial charges.

Cons

Their chargeback policies are difficult. If a customer opens a bank claim, the likelihood of retaining the money that was paid for your product is very slim (even with delivery evidence). With PayPal, you have buyer protection which covers you. With Stripe, you incur a fee on top of the chargeback loss.

Overall it's a good experience and I'll love to keep using it in future.

Pros

What I liked the most about Stripe was their product documentation and their customer support. Also their UI is very delightful and easy to understand.

Cons

Stripe has no major cons but it has many limitations depending on your geographic locations. Like I'm from India as due to regulations Stripe Connect is not available.

### "Easiest Payment Processing for WooCommerce"

Overall, I haven't had any issues with Stripe.

Pros

Extremely easy to set up with WooCommerce. I've tried a few different payment processing solutions and Stripe was by far the easiest. Also free to set up and connect, unlike others like Authorize.net.

Cons

3.5% for American Express transactions is a little high / annoying. But it's just a minor con from the eyes of the seller.

Pros

Stripe is dead simple and super easy to use. Setting up recurring billing was very easy and fast and you could bill people right away. I loved the dashboards that showed you exactly how much you were paid each day or each month. The software is really good looking and simple to set up, ideal for small businesses that are looking for a good easy billing solution.

Cons

Occasionally we would have clients that wouldn't pay and we weren't notified in the software as easily as we would have liked. This lead to some confusion and frustration since we had quite a few clients to keep track of, but it was a relatively minor issue.

As I don't go to the website very often, I sometimes have trouble finding what I'm looking for.

Reason for choosing Stripe

I use Stripe in conjunction with Paypal so clients without a credit card can still purchase, but those with a credit card seem to prefer to use Stripe.

Stripe helped me get started taking online payments, and quick deposits mean I get the funds fast, which is super important for my cash flow business.

Pros

Strip makes it easy to get started with a merchant account to take payments. -Easy sign up -Secure account management -Easy maintenance -Quick payments

Cons

Depending on the business you're in, you will either be on Stripes good side or bad side. If you're a 100% legitimate business selling known products and services, Stripe will have no problem with you. However if you're in a new or emerging field, Stripe will monitor you're transactions and ask for verification often. And your threshold for chargebacks is lower, possibly cancelling your account if it thinks something is shady.

Reason for choosing Stripe

It integrates with all the popular platforms I use for my business, including Clickfunnels and Billy accounting (now called Sunrise)

We needed a simple cross platform payment solution and Stripe has provided that for us. It easily integrated into our bookkeeping system which makes it optimal for our small business.

Pros

Stripe was easy to deploy and use for automated payment processing. The information is entered once , connected to our account and then we don't have to think about it. The data is easy to export and track so we know who is paying us and when, and easy to incorporate into our systems.

Cons

We use multiple payment providers, some who send us an email as someone makes a payment just to give us a heads up.

Cons

The fees are a bit steep for high-revenue businesses. Also, the interface could be a little more intuitive. I'd like them to make ACH payments easier especially.
