January 18, 2026 4.0 It is obvious that has made it quick and easy for developers to get payments up and running in very little time and with little effort. The ecosystem, pre-built solutions and integrations allow for flexibility and the scope for advanced functionality. You don't need to be a payments or billing expert to get Stripe implemented. Pros makes integrating payments into your projects quick and easy. APIs and Stripe checkout make it quick and simple to get up and running, without having to worry about implementing your own security etc - with just a few lines of code. Stripe accepts almost all currencies, and supports heaps of integrations. Cons can be expensive, especially for international transactions with currency conversions. Cons There was some initial concerns on the cost involved with frequent deposits. But after a discussion with their customer support, we changed from a weekly charge to a monthly charge. Cons It doesn't seem to capture the iMIS numbers if you want to search for a specific person's payment which would make it abit easier, as sometimes members have someone else pay for them so the other person's detail will show up on instead of the member's account.
