It is fairly easy to set up and integrate into your website platform, peocessing fees are affordable and customer service is responsive.

Pros

I like that it processes payments efficiently and the processing fees are affordable and cheaper than other payment processing.

Cons

I don't like that payment deposits can take several business days if you don't want to pay an increased fee for immediate deposit.

Pretty good other than the reconciliation reports.

Pros

Stripe is fairly easy to use compared to other systems. It also integrates with many other software and is easy to do.

Cons

The fees when using their built in invoicing module. You can only get reconciliation reports if you sign up for automatic payouts.

Stripe was an game changer for us, as an SEO agency we always wanted clients from North america and Tier 1 countries, but the bank fees always took an huge part from us, But stripe solved it for us, Their fees is very low, Stripe is one of the most important payment system for us.

Pros

The Lower Fees compared to other alternatives, And they are helpful to pay international clients, with stripe i was able to expand my business to North america too.

Cons

The identity verfications, I have verified the account once but it asked once again after 6 months.

I did like the ease of being able to bill and swipe for customers purchases . However customers service is not great if you encounter any issues.

Pros

Stripe was easy to set up to take custimers payments. It was easy to bill, invoice and swipe for purchases .

Cons

There seems to be a lack of custimer service if you have issues. You usually get stuck in a loop or dead end.

Very easy to use and setup. Support OK however could be less scripted and robotic with responses to queries that fall outside the standard FAQ type of answer

Easy to setup, great comms for transactions, easy to embed links into invoices and documents to allow clients to pay

Cons

Restrictions on categories that can be used and then even when not within the category still being restricted for certain things

Overall, I pay a yearly subscription for stripe that is nothing compared to the value I get for their payment processing platform.

Pros

It allows me to accept credit (cc) card payments with ease! I also don’t have to worry about whether the information is being kept securely.

Cons

When using Stripe, it takes about 2 or 3 days before the money is deposited. I wish that time could be cut down to one day.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use stripe and in particular to integrate it into my wordpress website as a payment solution.

Cons

The costs are a little higher than I would like when compared to other ways of receiving payments.

### "Unreachable and no phone number"

There is no ability to call these people. It takes forever just to request them to call you on a scheduled day four days from the day you requested, plus you have to wait on them to escalate the request just to even get approved to talk to someone and then they will schedule it for 4 days away. My email address and phone number no longer worked and it took me 2 to 3 weeks just to be able to get a hold ofsomeone. This is for a request for tax documents and for a company to not be reachable is a red flag. They do not care that it takes forever, even though you’re trying to get tax documents in order to file taxes. Never use this company And do your favor don’t even work for DoorDash because you’ll be forced to use this company. Uber will gladly upload all of your documents on your Uber account. They don’t force you to go through a third-party just to get access to documents that you are legally entitled to.

Cons

You cannot get ahold of them and they take forever just to update your phone and email

We implemented Stripe because of the lower processing fees. The implementation was seamless and the back-office side of the program is much more straightforward and easy to use.

Good overall, integrated with some CRMs and ERPs, managed to do the work without major issues. Good thing also is about it's test platform easy to connect and do tests there before moving to live.

Pros

Easy to connect via API or point and click to any capable systems.

Cons

Some functionalities like subscriptions can be extremely tricky to setup due even for simple scenarios.

### "Frustrating Experience with Stripe Support & Unfair Account Closures"

My experience with Stripe has been incredibly frustrating. My account was suddenly closed due to claims of "unauthorized payments," which were factually incorrect. There were only three transactions involved, all of which were authorized by the customers. Despite providing clear explanations and offering to verify with customer communications, my support tickets were automatically closed, and I received no meaningful follow-ups. Even worse, my customers’ refunds are now at risk due to this account closure, and there has been no assistance or clarity from Stripe's support team. The responses I did receive felt automated and dismissive, offering no real solutions. This has severely impacted my business and my customers' trust. I urge Stripe to take complaints and customer support issues more seriously. This level of service is simply unacceptable.

Pros

Good technical infrastructure and superior integrations and APIs

Cons

Customer support is horrible. "Investigations" are vague automated responses.

Overall good experience, we used their product for years before we eventually had to make the switch to another platform. At the end they kept tightening up their restrictions and make it extremely hard to do business with them.

Pros

The interface, ease of use, and speed of getting setup and running was great!

Cons

Stripe has all kinds of red tape and would often put our funds on hold for no reason. Makes it extremely hard to operate a business.

Stripe verwendet eine schlechtec Übersetzer KI. Ich wollte gerade mein Auszahlungskonto einfach nur wechseln. Der Support ist völlig überfordert. Jetzt muss ich ersddt auf eine Email von einem Spezialistern warten. Bei Paypal mache ichdas selbst mt 5 Klicks. Einfach lächerlich. Überlege ein anderes Produkt zu nutzen.

Pros

Sie sind tatsächlich in der Lage die Überweisung eines Kundenn innerhalb von 7 Tagen mit Gebühren von 1,45 Euro auf mein Konto zu überweisen. Schneller geht es nicht. WOW. Eine Spitzenleistung.

Cons

Kundensupport. Simple Probleme sind sie nicht in der Lage zu lösen.
