### "Process Payment from Anywhere, Any time!"

Pros

I've been using Stripe for quite a while now and I am very impressed with the overall business and what they offer to clients such as myself. Accepting payment has never been easier. You no longer have to deal with PayPal or cash. Stripe for me is kind of an all in one solution for payment processing. Let's say you have a website selling coffee beans in the United States. Stripe will provide with an easy to set up payment processing gateway for your site. Once it's up, your customers can then purchase from your site 24/7/365 using credit card, debit cards, and whatever other payment options you make available. Stripe does all the heavy lifting for you. They analyze the risk of each transaction, which tremendously help prevent fraud and future headaches. All sales and analytics are presented in a very well designed interface.

Cons

No problems so far. Stripe's been great and a much better service than a few other big names.

### "Good payment processor"

A good tool to manage your payments gives you everything you need in a very organized, simple way. Gives you the flexibility to pay for transactions and no monthly/yearly fees

Pros

I have been using Stripe for many years now and I am very happy with most of their features. It was not difficult to implement but mostly, very easy to use. As soon as you enter the platform, you see a dashboard with a very well organized recap of what's going on with your transactions so you will be updated on the situation at a first sight. Performing transactions (refunds etc) is also very simple. In general, you don't need more than a very short training to start using the platform. So far we haven't had any security issues or problems with the funds. My favorite thing about Stripe is that you are charged for transactional fees and no monthly fees, so we pay for it only when we use it.

Cons

Even if I find their fraud checks good most of the time, I would like the possibility to customize even more fraud alerts and smooth the chargeback resolution projects. In the past few months, we have received some fraudulent transactions from a know fraudulent area and they have been accepted. We have rejected the payment but some more options to personalize fraud rules can be useful Customer service could be more responsive

Stripe is an efficient and low-fee payment platform, helps us keep payments automated but with review for our service providers and helps gather information on an ongoing basis to assist with our internal audits.

Pros

It is an easy to use and understand platform, charges low fees compared to other similar platforms. It is accepted by an extensive list of companies to make or receive payments. It has a support with a good predisposition to solve problems.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about this payment platform.

### "STAY AWAY !"

Stripe will decide to stop your pay-outs with NO reason and NO warning. You will battle them for weeks to try and understand why and get this resolved, without resolution and during that time they will ruin your business as you can't accept payments. You will not be able to speak to a human on the phone and email responses are slow and robotic. I have been with them for 8 years and they treat my company like dirt. DO NOT use them if you care about your business.

It’s a reliable and easy-to-use platform that streamlines my accounting duties.

Pros

Stripe has been a great asset for my business. It is user-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective. I find that all of my accounting tasks can be completed quickly and accurately with Stripe’s features.

Cons

Though Stripe has been a great asset, it isn’t without its drawbacks. The customer service team is not incredibly responsive, so when I’ve had questions or issues, I’ve had to wait longer than expected to receive a response.

Overall we have enjoyed using Stripe and plan to continue to use it for a long time. The ease of use and simple integration with other services we needed makes it the perfect solution for my client's needs. Managing it for my team is a breeze so it is a win, win for everyone.

Pros

We really like how easy it was to set up and account with Stripe and start taking donations online for a non-profit client we have. We connected our Stripe account to Moon Clerk to take recurring payments and the two software packages work beautifully together. Their rates are in line with the competition and so far they have been a perfect fit for us. When we went to use BookWhen.com they already integrated perfectly with Stripe and launching that feature took less than 20 minutes. It was one of the most painless integrations we have done.

Cons

Honestly, there wasn't much we didn't like. It is a very straight forward credit card processing system. It would be nice to have recurring payments built-in without having to use an outside service which would help save some potential cost to my client, but all in all still a solid solution.

I truly love this software. It works great with my everyday workload.

Pros

I truly appreciate the ease of payments online. The fact that a customer can view an invoice and click a button to pay, all on the same page. How much easier does it get for the customers? I love it.

Cons

My only complaint is the per transaction cost. I wish it were a little cheaper. I’m a small business. It hurts sometimes to pay a larger amount out of my profits.

Pros

It was pretty easy to set up, and the app seams pretty simple

Cons

I wish that it had more features. For the free tier it includes quite a bit but I wish they would do more to include in person processing similar to square

I actually initially chose it for the woocommerce integration, but they include square integration now. I was happy to stay with Square so I could have ecomm and pos in the same platform. It works better with inventory management as well.

Pros

I have all my business's recurring billing running through stripe. It's been pretty much set it and forget it unless clients' card info need re-entering if they have a new card, for example. I used to use square but went to stripe because of the recurring payments feature.

Cons

I don't get emails when payments don't go through. I have to log in and then see if any payments have failed by going to the payments page. I'd like to get my deposits the next day, like with square, instead of the second business day. When there's a back holiday weekend that really pushes payments back. I am not a developer so I use Plugnpaid to create simple interfaces to embed on a website for folks to pay me for services.

Pros

Itʻs very easy to set up and you never think about it again until you receive your payments. Payments are always timely and sent straight to your bank.

Cons

Itʻs a little difficult to understand the reports, the website has a list of everyone who purchased , how much they paid and what the fees are, but you have to figure out which purchases go with which payout manually.

I have had a smooth process using Stripe. We accept payments online every day and it works great.

Pros

I was able to set up Stripe in about 1 hour on my website. We accept payments now and I have not had an issue with any payments or returns.

Cons

For the not tech-savvy person, it could be difficult to set up on your self-hosted website.

Stripe has been a solid payment processor for our business and has enabled us to expand our e-commerce sales. They are constantly improving the product, with new advanced features every couple of months.

Pros

Ease of use (Deployment and continuous use), reasonably priced and wonderful Customer Service is what makes this software so great for me. The moment I've signed up to Stripe, it was extremely effective and useful. The dashboard is detailed and accurate, so I can constantly see what is going on in my e-commerce platform.

Cons

There are additional fees for a lot of their services, although the base product is fairly good - if you want any advanced features, there is an additional hidden cost.

Overall I'm very happy with Stripe. I've run into very few issues, and I find their credit card fees to be on par with other companies.

Pros

It is very user friendly, and everything you need to know is on the first screen. Payouts, amount in-transit & estimated future pay outs. You can also search through your customer database easily, and issue refunds with ease.

Cons

There is not a live customer service agent for this software. I feel that every company should have at least a few people on the phone to help you if there is a system glitch, or you have any issues that may need troubleshooting or even just have a simple question.

With full seamless integration with our WooCommerce platform, and a sleek modern user interface that everybody likes, accepting credit cards, debit cards and Apple Pay, Stripe is everything we ever needed.

Pros

We started using Stripe when we needed an alternative to PayPal's payment platform. Being globally accepted and trusted Stripe was the best and easiest alternative to choose. - Easy to use and implement. - Incredibly low fees, the best in the industry, this alone is enough to select it. - Accepts all credit companies - The verification process is smooth and easy. - Interface is easy to understand and constantly getting updated with new features and other improvements. - Timely automatic payments to our bank accounts.

Cons

There are only a few caveats that we experienced: - American Express cards are not accepted in India. - Stripe once disabled the whole system without notification or warning and wanted additional documents. Though the issue was resolved in a day, they should ask for information first and then disable the system if the user doesn't comply.

Au départ très satisfaite Aujourd’hui stripe m’a fait perdre un total de 10 000 euros (Mais ils vont quand même prendre leur commission)

Semble simple, mais va vous faire perdre beaucoup d’argent

Vous êtes une entreprise ? FUYEZ A 13h10 : je reçois un mail me demandant de télécharger un justificatif de domicile 13h40 : L’envoie n’a a pas été fait (je travaillais durant ces 30 mn…) mes comptes BLOQUÉS Aucun client ne pouvaient payer Les paiements effectués 24h avant REFUSÉS L’argent que stripe BLOQUES Cela fait 5 jours la situation n’a pas bougé Service client DÉPLORABLE J’ai dû attendre 3 jours avant de pouvoir ne serait-ce que renvoyer un document, car le premier (facture d’électricité) était jugé comme non conforme ?! Priver une entreprise pendant 5 jours de se faire payer par ses clients ?? AUCUN GESTE COMMERCIAL NE PRENEZ PAS STRIPE

I like how it integrates with my Shopify and my invoicing software, the fees to deposit are less than Wave

Cons

A lot of steps to make a manual invoice, and extra steps to enter a credit card manually

### "Great alternative to Paypal"

I wanted to see what else was out there beside PayPal and some of my clients don't want to business wit PayPal anymore. Overall, I like stripe and will continue to use them because their customer service blew me away.

Pros

Customer services is by far the shining star of this company! I needed help with their invoicing system since my site was under construction and I couldn't authenticate. I was worried that I would have to wait until my site was up and running again before I could use them. I called their customer service and did the call me when I'm next but, I had connection problems with my cell phone, I was walking the friendliest 80 lbs. dog ever and every airplane wanted to pass over me. The same rep called me back 4 times to make sure it was the best time for me to talk. Also their call center is in Northern California which cuts down on the language barrier with scripted prompts. Which was a pleasant surprise especially since you don't want to have communication issues when talking about your income. I was able to get my question answered and that one experience will have me be a customer for a long time. In short Pros: Great customer service multitude of products they hire stateside the reps were very knowledgeable and didn't pass the buck

Cons

As someone who has been in the banking industry for 15 years in various operational, corporate and consumer levels, I found their website and product explanations extremely confusing. I had no idea which product I should choose nor any real guiding process when you sign up. They should really segment their site so that freelancers and small business owners are looking a the products that large agencies or enterprise companies would need. I had to call in to find out answers to my simple questions that should be bright as day on the site. Cons: The number products Poor site user-ability Products not explained well or properly online (this is coming from a finance industry person)

I prefer the user interface of Stripe on the user payment page than Paypal. It is also a good alternative to Paypal especially when Paypal implements restrictions to receive the amount of funds per month.

Pros

I love Stripe as it is so easy to set up by myself or my staff without spending much time to figure out how to do. The interface is user friendly. The credit card payment page at the check out looks very professional so I don't have to worry about whether it goes well with my store image.

Cons

It takes longer time to withdraw my funds than other payment platform. It requires extra resources to check from time to time.

Ein digitales Zahlungsanbieter sollte aus meiner Ansicht als Nutzer (Unternehmerin) einfach in der Anwendung sein mit geringen Aufwänden für möglichst durchgängige Prozesse. Doch es gibt durchgängigen Prozesse, die Bank Anbindung funktioniert nicht, wie vieles.Die Rechnungserstellung wird versprochen, aber der Prozess wird weder im System gezeigt, noch im Tutorial. Wie soll das ohne Anleitung klappen? Gar nicht, bin frustriert.Das Tool nervt, weil es riesige Aufwände in der Administration verlangt und viele Blockaden durch Fehlermeldungen produziert, die den Prozess nicht zum Abschluss bringen.Der Mail Support kann angeblich nicht helfen, weil er nicht in die Anwendung schauen kann. So einen Quatsch habe ich nicht noch nie gehört - von einem angeblich digitalen Vorreiter.Der telefonische Support ist in den USA und kann auch nicht helfen.Kundenzentrierung und Kundenservice geht anders.Bei Hubspot wird im Chat zumeist direkt im Echtzeit-Chat die Frage beantwortet.Sonst per Mail mit einer Video-Aufnahme.Warum hat Stripe einen altmodischen nicht digitalen und nicht funktionieren Support?Das Unternehmen macht jede Menge Gewinn, investiert aber nicht gute Kundenerlebnisse.Unbedingt meiden und weitersagen.

Amazing. We couldn't operate efficiently without them.

Pros

Stripe provides such an amazing service that does a great job with storing cards on file, recurring payments, subscriptions, invoicing, and standard processing. It also integrates with just about any other platform and if not, you can build it out however you see fit with its robust api platform.

Cons

Negotiating pricing is extremely difficult.

The customer service at Stripe is also amazing. I had a problem with one of the functions but did not contact Stripe's support team because it was not a big issue. Instead, Stripe's support team contacted me asking if I could take a survey about the specific function that was not working. I eventually had a Zoom call with Stripe's support team and we figured out the problem. After this experience, Stripe sent me two gift cards for helping them improve their product and giving them feedback!

Pros

Stripe allows you to send professional invoices to customers and payment links for large amounts of clients. It looks very professional on the payment page for the client. Stripe also sends the money into your bank account and can be customized to how often it transfers from the Stripe balance to your bank account. This way, large sums can be deposited monthly rather than small amounts every day. Stripe takes payments from card and banks which makes it very easy for clients to pay. The price is only 1% of the amount invoiced, which can just be added as an additional charge for clients -- so compared to other platforms it is very cheap!

Cons

The only thing that I would like is a system of classifying payments per customer under a tab where all the clients can be seen. Also, under the payment page, it would be easier if the clients were labeled by their name, rather than their email addresses.

For over a decade we used Paypal for everything and losing some clients as they refuse to use that merchant. Now, we provide a choice or only Stripe depending on our or the clients projects.

Pros

Absolutely love that I can use 1 account to handle all my various companies. Switching to their invoices, etc.. could not be any easier.

Cons

I have no complaints as the more you use the dashboard you find it even easier to use. I'm looking forward to making the most of our Stripe account.
