Cons My company does not use EZOfficeInventory for all of our inventory. I'm not sure if that is something that should have been covered during onboarding of our company to the software. Pros The software provides cloud based asset management. This is great for universities or businesses that typically lend out laptops, dongles, and chargers. As devices move from person to person it was becoming a major pain point for us. We looked at several different platforms, but EZOfficeInventory was the best with all the features we wanted, scanning and tracking for the best price! Pros Being able to track our devices and connect with our Active Directory made this an easy sell! I love the integration and the ease of tracking devices with the app and scanning. Cons Our IT department struggled with getting the Active Directory configured. EZOffice has provided swift technical support and assistance to get us up and running. Reason for choosing EZO The integration with our Active Directory so we didn't have to manage a separate database, being able to label and scan assets in the field for reassignment made it very attractive. Cons The least thing about this software is that I wish when I made a mistake by adding something into inventory but I meant to add it into asset. I wish you can just change the category. The ability to scan items to check them out through the app is very handy. Cons If I'm unable to scan an item or the sticker wore off and cannot be scanned, it can be difficult to check out the item through the website. If there's multiples on an item or if theyre not labeled separately it's almost impossible to know if youre checking out the correct item. I think the website could have a better use interface. I think any items you have checked out, especially items that are overdue to be checked out, should be on the main page. February 5, 2020 5.0 EZOffice is used here for inventory of our many devices (iPad,iPhone,Androids,Kindle, Kobo, computers, etc.). We do this monthly. I line up about 5 at a time, point my phone camera at it and all import super quick. We also use it to keep track of device condition and accessories. Coworkers can check them out or put a hold on them. We can request audits of those devices. Pros You can take inventory quickly. It will do numerous barcodes at a time and automatically eliminate duplicates. Easy export to an excel file. App on the phone makes it super easy to use. Cons Honestly, I have no complaints. April 4, 2018 5.0 The benefits are the ability to track our supplies and equipment, while also minimizing the paperwork involved. Pros We are a small cleaning company and we have been trying to go more paperless over the last year. I love the fact that we can sign our equipment in and out for maintenance and even if one of our cleaners wanted to take it home for the night. It helps us track those things much easier vs just word of mouth or with paper. Cons The price is a little higher than we would have like to spend, but worth it. It is pretty comparable to other software I looked at. Eventually, we will have to upgrade as we will have more locations and will need to transfer inventory to those locations. This software helps make the process easier and takes a load off the administrators who would normally have to spend lots of time with students to do what ez office does in minutes. Pros We really like how easy it is to pull stock and create lists, labels etc. The overall layout is very intuitive and resemble so many other platforms we use regularly. Tech support has always responded quickly and was very knowledgeable. Cons Reseting asset count to zero is time consuming if needing to do multiple at one time.
